Realistically you have to factor the rider's weight, it makes a huge difference on a motorcycle but very little difference on a car. Add a 170lbs rider and that figure goes to 2.3 or so.

No, get you a classic Ducati like 750 or 900 SS. Enough power, fun to ride and still excellent handling. I ride Ducatis since 1979, starting with 900SD, 900 SS, 851, 916 and 998. And I would never buy a 240 HP bike. It's useless and normal riders can't handle this power anyway. I live in a rural and mountainous area in Bavaria and for the streets here, the 900 SS is still good enough to chase this new overpowered bikes.

i bought cbr1000rr 2009 for 4800euro,if i put around 2 or 3k dollar on it it will be much more better bike than this italiono,the only good thing about duccati is the look but if you search cbr its also a beautiful bike

@@benistingray6097 no not at all this engine has a redline of almost 16krpm. You'll need to slip the clutch like hell to just get moving in 1st gear cause the torque is really high up in the rev range, it's not a Harley or an Indian.

@LogicalSense i find it a bit short sighted to put aside engineering skills of an entire nation on ego and a bike Rossi found undrivable. Not doing justice to what Italy contributed to motorsport and automotive industry in general.
Ducati and Ferrari both are one of the most succesful brands in motorsport. They both have an enormous heritage going way back. More Italian brands have and they have some brilliant designers like for example Giugiaro, Ghandini, Spada, Pininfarina, Mantovani etc. These are all not just designers but engineers as well. Same goes for famous engine designers like Jano, Lampredi, Busso.

I’ve never been a Ducati guy (Kawi fow life) but I have to be honest. This is by far the best looking bike EVER. Absolutely incredible performance and controllability. All around has to be the best production bike ever made.

As a motorcycle guy I HATE when people with very little knowledge about motorcycles automatically think that Ducati is the "best bike" just because it's expensive or Italian. As any real rider knows it's 99% rider and 1% machine, unlike the car world. In our world, talent out shines how many "HRSPRS" you may have in between your legs. Here's something to think about. Ducati keeps adding displacement to every SBK they unveil, yet the Japanese manufactures have kept true to their I4 600 or liter motors. Yet I don't see Ducati winning at any level GP, WSBK, or any other regional series. What's up with that? You guys really should keep it real and not glorify Ducati, there are many other brands (Yes, even Italian) that are better with A LOT of racing history and pedigree behind it.

Jeremiah - I'm currently fixing up a '62 Honda 50 C100 - the most mass produced motor vehicle of all time. I think Donut should do a B2B or an Up to Speed on these. It's a major part of motoring history.
Jeremiah, I would love for you to help spearhead some more motorcycle videos. Or at least a collab up to speeds... donut helped me to better understand cars, but I always prefered bikes and reaaaasllly want to learn more about the pedigrees that lead to the Big 4... also the miniMoto scene has been growing like crazy in Europe and abroad. Some wild 125ccs that can go highway speeds!
