I own a 23’ V4R and I also owned a 22’ V4S. I totally agree with every single point on this review. Completely spot on

Once again, Michael Neeves demonstrates why he is arguably the best road tester out there. No bragging, no hype, no reading factory specs without really knowing what they mean. So few people out there can even begin to use a bike like this to anywhere near it's potential. Still, it's a wonderful exercise in excess! LOL Ducati riders in Italy preening! Imagine that!

  • @Showmetheevidence-

Always find it kinda funny that the kind of people who can spend £40k on a bike aren’t (generally) the kinda peeps who can really ride them properly. 😂

  • @boostaholic7116

Neevesy you are too humble your skills are way above us mere mortals! Great review of a dream bike.

  • @stephenchapman8344

Go Neevesy. Your no nonsense reviews hit the spot every time. No hype. No bull. Just what everyday riders want to know. 👍

  • @davidhost7133

I could listen to this talk about bike reviews all day long. He has probably rode every performance bike out there. And he is so honest with his reviews. Seems like the kind of bloke who would give you the time of day down the local pub and just chat about bikes.cant say anymore really what a top bloke.

    Just buy an H2R

Very honest review. Having owned v4s panigale before and now the V4R. I felt that the R changed directions better, and with the right rev range, came out of corners more stable than the v4s. I could get on the power sooner with the R. This is the best feeling panigale IMO yet, again having owned every iteration.

Bike testers love to tell you that bikes are too fast/ too much for you, they do it with dirt bikes and fast cars too. How about riding/ driving something that can do everything you want it to do and always have something left?, that's surely not a bad thing and are you meant to try and buy something dialled back to your ability what happens and when your ability increases..

Those are not the stylema R.🙏🙏 Just the regular stylema, don't know why Ducati put it on the SP but not the V4R

  • @allinrc3338

I can't buy a Ducati , but I'm only here for this man's review! He does a superior job from that for sure 👍!!!

  • @davidlutton4560

Without doubt, your ability to convey the character and performance of bikes like this in a way that is easily understood by ordinary riders like me, is unparalleled. Brilliant stuff...so thank you.

  • @jonathanmichaels8331

I bought this from Ducati Dubai. Collecting end of the year. Can’t wait!

  • @Blazemon9999

Talk about commitment to the craft. Stayed in his leathers for the post ride wrap up just for the authenticity of it. Proper moto journalist

I’m really glad to see this, having watched your original V4R video about a million times. People tend to ignore the power and torque charts when comparing the V4S and V4R, as well as the tech specs noting the same 6% power increase for each model when fitted with the race exhaus. The V4S is actually stronger than the R in low to mid rev ranges. (The headline figure of 240.5 HP for the V4R requires a greater than $500 splash of oil as well as oil changes every few hundred miles.) I think the main differences are the suspension and the way the V4R engine so eagerly spins up to insane revs (just like its 40-plus pound lighter Superleggera V4 brother). It’s very reminiscent of the World SBK version, and I am sure it is very rewarding to ride for those few who can take advantage of all it has to offer. Oh, and then there is that new lightweight dry clutch.

Thank you Michael for another no nonsense review. It’s so refreshing to me to watch someone with way more skills than I’ve got be completely honest with not only the viewer but himself regarding his ability. Cheers mate

  • @juliuscarlopoblete2092

another great review.... the V4R looks insanely beautiful...

  • @charliecoutts3003

I love your reviews Neevesy, no-nonsense, honest and down to earth. You're also very modest about your abilities 👍.

  • @barryrose4850

I’ve been to a few European track days the last couple of years and it’s good to see how many Ducati’s are being used compared to a few years ago. Great video Neavsy 🏁

  • @newtype101

Your new helmet looks fantastic also Neeves! 🍻
