    think your issue with the eva is that the yoke was done flat, and you might be rowing out (looser purls), and then when you switched to stockinette for the sleeve, you get better tension, as all knits !

      just reached the part about mirror knitting, so no purls, but the tension will still be different on alternate rows in the flat section vs the round !

      You’re probably right! I’ve never experienced my tension changing between flat and in the round before so my first thought went to the needle change but I should have considered that first.

    I agree with Vanissia. It looks like a tension difference from one row to the next and then all smooth once you start knitting the sleeves in the round. Of course different needles can contribute but this is a row to row difference.

      You’re probably right! I’ve just never had that problem before with switching from flat to in the round
