The best way to dry flowers is with silica gel. This is the stuff that comes in a little sealed envelope in your shoe box. You can buy it at the craft store. Most of the color will be retained because it drys quickly and evenly. If you want more color, put some glycerin in the water of your cut flower and after a day dry it in the silica gel.

I use those all the time for my soaps. I've covered my flower petals in paraffin and put them in resin after drying upside down and they come out pretty cool.. RIGHT now I'm actually working on a expierement with resin and high heels.. I have to get a patent on it first, but it awesome. I can't wait for everyone 2 see it..but I'm not a big channel 30 subs cuz I don't record or post everything, mostly cuz of $. And it's hard w no legs a thousand new techniques and I it's just disabled me, but maybe one day..

Oh, did you guyz know that the silica gel packets that the same exact ingredients is in Cat litter. I got it from a homesteading channel I'm subbed too, but yeah a whole lot more for less $..

A tip for keeping flowers and other imbedded items from floating in resin:
Lay down a layer or 2 of UV resin to secure it in place, then, after making sure it's secured, then pour the epoxy resin on top. It gives you an anchor for it without LOOKING like an anchor.

I have a question. I’ve seen someone use nail stamping on a disc made of resin but I’m wondering if you were to use a sharpie or even an acrylic paint marker if it would work. The nail stamper I bought has sayings including a few in another language. I’d love to add my words. Is this possible?

If the flower is partially dried like only 1-2 petals are not completely dried then also whole flower will ruin? Or rest will be fine?
