Let’s see that turbo switch
Get an oil analysis done, and that will tell you a good interval to start with. I've done 3 over the last few years, and they recommended 8k for my set up.
I have to still do it for this truck. I'll probably send a sample in soon to get a base line established
Project Farms and others have shown that the differance is marginal if the oils have the same ILSAC/API Rating. Some of the high price oils had more additive packages but that would not make any differance with regular service intervals.
As for filter...Champion makes Amsoil Filters, same as Mobil1 and others.
So if you want to keep your cost down go with the cheaper oils and filters for regular service....or...do a 2 year service.

Amsoil is great stuff. But rotella t6 is just as good for a lot less money. There is a fella on UA-cam called “the high mileage helper” he does hotshot trucking. Gets over 30k miles from rotella t6 and sent it off to get tested and they said it was still good. He was using a wix xp filter.
Rotella is very good oil nothing is wrong with it. I use to run Rotella before I switched to amsoil, but I will say I noticed a difference over time from switching. Fuel economy, less engine noise, samples I've sent off have had more ppm additives from amsoil compared to Rotella t6. Like I said t6 is very good and if I had to buy oil off shelf that's what I would run, but amsoil is where I'm at haha

with the new tires check your tire pressure , sometimes you can drop alil tire pressure due to the hard ride , did the same with my truck runs night and day around the city with the pot holes , just need to remember to air back up if your towing heavy
It's funny u mentioned that cause I literally just took some pressure out all the tires. The tire shop had the psi's all messed up. Truck rode horrible on the highway now its a lot better. Aired them all down to 55psi. Might lower the rear tires to 45-50psi. Max is 65psi.

You have a trans that actually supports the engine power so wheel hop will be normal until u get trac bars
Trac bars are definitely on the to do list!
I am a fan of Valvoline premium blue full synthetic oil and I use Fleetguard filters
I agree with you on the fram filters ( oil ) they are the worst on the market
Thats a good quality oil as well. Fleetguard too for filters. Yea I would never put a Fram filter on my truck.
Turbo swap and maybe look in to some trac bars helps with wheel hop for the rear.
Trac bars are an absolute must! I can feel the hop when taking off.
I use Amsoil signature 15w-40 in my 2015 Ram 2500, never had any issues with my engine.
Wheel bearings are a different story. :-(

So, if I install the Air dog fuel filters, those are the only fuel filters I need to change and worry about? I still have a stock on mine, and they are kind of a pain to replace.

Depends what build you. Your looking anywhere from 3k and up depending what you buy or who you take it too. A lot of variables to factor in.
I use Schaeffers oil on my stock truck, turns black right after the first start😅. Can they still analyze the oil with all the soot in it?
It's normal for it to turn black right after changing it. Just from the soot mixing with the oil lol yea u can still test it for sure though.

Nope,when i change my air dog filter to. Fuel comes out when i remove it to. The thing i dont like when changing the filter.
