I liked it when Janet was waving in the mirror while filming. How can you not find her adorable?
Happy to see the fire extinguisher mounted in the kitchen.
Sure to be a great landlord with such a well-maintained and clean place.
We agree!
Very nice place, maybe the most western style home I've seen yet. Great job showing the place Janet and Mike.
Glad you enjoyed it
Nice place! Great job on the video!!
Glad you liked it!
That is a beautiful home. I love new construction and being the first 😂
It is.. thanks @chales
Hey Mike and Janet this is beautiful place love it very nice especially the outside especially the screen doors it's just a beautiful place
Glad you enjoyed it
a very nice apartment and centrally located between the 2 towns. seems a little pricy, but its brand new and spacious. I'd rent it if my budget would allow, but I'm looking for a 1 bdrm, as spacious as this one. Janet is doing such a great job, she deserves a raise, hahaha.
I totally agree!
Nice, clean, new, fresh, has A/C, good water pressure and ready to move in. Looks like a pretty safe landing spot for maybe someone looking to check out the area. Do rentals typically let for a year, 6 months or does it depend? I'd certain consider it.
This one I luv and bonus 2 mirrors for Janet lol
Kinda pricey
Beautiful place I like the oven I like the bathroom in the master
Thanks so much 😊
Very Good place! how much is 5 gallons of water delivered? !
Thanks to you and Janet for showing the nice house.. very well done on both your parts. always like your rental videos 😊
Our pleasure!
Nice video. Very nice home. My only concern is the security bars that can prevent an emergency exit during a fire. When I was stationed at Clark Air Base back in the early to late 1980's, there were three fires over an eight-year period where home occupants were trapped and unable to exit home. Senseless deaths because they were prisoners in their own homes.
I'd like to see rentals in the 10 - 20k Php zone if possible. But of course, there may not be that many with all the expats around. But this is my price bracket. Enjoy watching you and Janet. You a lovely couple. Keep up the good work. :)
That would be cool!
I like it!
Hi Mike the bathroom shelf is called a niche. It’s a nice house but seems a tad on the high side in terms of rent.
Nice and New. Well equipped and furnished. Reasonable price. Good proximity to both towns.
Yes indeed!
Nice
Thanks
Nice place guys but it does seem that prices are going up quickly in this area. My GF is signing a lease today for a 2 bedroom 1 bath in Manila for 10k
Oh wow!
Yeah, Duma has such a high density of expats, it is pricing itself right out of the market.
Wow, great video! That is a super nice place and would be a great place to retire. Thank you for showing it to us!
Glad you enjoyed it
I've been following your other channel for just a little while. I heard you mention this channel one one of those videos, so I came here and subscribed.
Awesome! Thank you!
The electric bill for our 3 Daikin 1.5 kw Elite spilt type units in our 12 by 12 ft BRs was12500 php a month here in San Miguel. We brought down the power grid in the area many times due to our use being so high at night. Since we put in solar last May the neighborhood has not had brown outs. I noticed the fact that the units will reduce the voltage when running off the grid. We have learned that Norico cannot provide the power needed for AC. The unit will run but not with 220 v. It gets down to 190 V due to the unit demand on power. The Solar inverter data log has shown us this.
we were just down the road at camlann cottages in march
Absolutely beautiful! A little bit pricy, but I think it is worth the money as everything is there. You don't need to buy any household equipment anymore.
I totally agree!
Well appointed dwelling, convenient location, adequate parking for virtually any size vehicle, and the monthly rate validates that rental prices are continuing to rise in the area. Got to see Janet wave twice. That was a bonus! 👍👍
Thanks for sharing
😎👍🇺🇲
I'll never understand why they don't add a power outlet under the kitchen sink.
Be so easy to add hot water in the kitchen.
Doing dishes with cold water isn't the best.
Nevertheless, it's a nice place. Spendy, but nice.👍
Great point
Looks very nice.
It is!
I just found your channel. New subscriber. I will be moving to Dumaguete as soon as I wrap up everything here in the US. Thank you.
Thanks for subbing!
Thanks for letting us know Bart because its really important to everyone.
It is very nice. Lucky are those who coulc move in there.
Great job Mike! Keep up the great work. Looks like a really nice place.
Thanks, will do!
I understand that prices are up worldwide but that seems really high to me. Seems nice if your budget allows but kinda scares me about moving. Hope other areas are more reasonable.
I really like this place--just add the TV and wifi. If I was arriving in the Philippines soon, I'd consider it but I'll keep this area in mind when I get there.
Wow that nice
Yeah it is
Excellent upload guys! Your videos for this channel are getting better and better all the time. The positive chemistry between Janet and Mike shines through. This property should satisfy the most fastidious tenant. Cheers from OZ.
Thanks so much!
Very nice.
Thank you
I have been here in Dumaguete for almost a year and I have seen a 5K increase on almost every property available.
Nice place . Wall need bobwire and cameras 😂😂. But seriously it looks to be a good house .😊
You are right
Why, barbwire and cameras?
Perfect for me, but I guess negotiate down 10%
Super nice. However it is a little expensive for just me.
You and me both!
Expensive.
That’s actually a lot of money
OK. So we do have a two bath deal. Thanks.
Perfect!
Many of the places you show have bars on the windows.
Why is that? Are these high crime areas?
@mneisbaar Surely, there is a reason, no?
Nice home little to big for me it's nice that it's furnished looking for 1 bedroom like the security
Glad you like it
Thank you
Hello Mike and Janet. Im looking for a house furnished short term this coming June and most of all safe.
just contact @Carol Chinquin
Decent place but seems expensive for what it is
Duma rental prices have started exceeding value. Too many expats, causing excessive rent price increases. This is why I have abandoned Duma as an expatriation destination. $500-$550 is right for that place. $650, is ridiculous. That's Manilla money.
Thanks for sharing but it rented in one day with 3 ofters to rent
Nice home and tastefully built. However, it is overpriced and should be renting for around ₱30K. The yard is limited and the subdivision is not the best. It is worth looking at by new arrivals.
Thanks for sharing
I would like to know if you would what is the move in total expenses for the whole shebang. Reason I was in the Philippines and rented a place. My 2 months deposits I never received back. Yep, they know I’m an American therefore easy money… thanks 🙏
internet providers in area and speeds please
Nice little prison cell !
I think they want to much money, maybe $400 USA 🇺🇸 dollars, not $650
Nice unit! How far from the beach ;D
So close!
Just 10 to 15 minutes
Wow, what a ripp off.
I wonder if owners would reduce price if I sign long tern lease
It's depends
Do you know if they would do short-term month to month or 6 months rentals?
I don’t think so I think a year of that
Hi Carol, I like this unit. Please keep in mind for a similar unit. I am sending you a message through WhatsApp.
That is way to much money for Dumugette, that is close to low end rentals here in Canada in rural areas, $650 USD is close to $900 CAD or AU, to much for me anyway. My wife and I are looking, but these high rent places are not going to work for us. We understand in BGC you have to pay this kind of rent, but not Dumugette
Thanks for sharing but it rented in one day with 3 ofters to rent
@@DumagueteRentals that’s unbelievable, that’s BGC prices
How’s the internet speed
its good..
To much money. The allure is gone. I may as well stay here in my country.
Rent is slavery
Seems overpriced.
seems prices are going up or just expensive there, especially compared to Thailand. why so costly when banks are failing, property being left unsold etc............ bizarre. ROI seem very very low and rents really quite alot when i could get more or less the same in Europe. something doesnt add up...........
This place is overpriced compared to most places in the Philippines.
@@JohnDoe-ew1dc interesting video with sunshine shoulders and a guy from thailand. the guy lived in Ph but now lives in Thailand where prices reflect the country. my visits to Philly i see that property an drents are alot compared and there doesnt seem to be any justification for it
@@Julian-ez3iq you're correct. The rising rental prices don't effect me, because I did cash purchases on my condominiums and other properties. If I had to pay rent, I'd definitely look at Thailand over Philippines.
@@JohnDoe-ew1dc i didnt realise how much cheaper Thailand was but, the people in the Philippines are definitely nicer. Thailand is menacing in some places and they are definitely rascist/predjudice towards us farangs
Would they sell it?
no
Expensive for 35K. Rip off.
