I don't see how the Magazine could have any effect on the Accuracy of a firearm "Unless" the Magazine is causing a deformation or altering the shape of the projectile based on how the round is loaded into the mag or how it feeds across feed ramp causing a marking/denting or scratching of the projectile?
You always provide knowledge of .22's in your videos. Watching this, prior to your conclusion about how the bolt handles the rounds during feeding between the different magazines, my mind was thinking, "What's the difference here, the round get chambered, the rifle fires, how can there be a difference in not only accuracy, but in velocity?" You Sir, have answered that question, like a boss. Carry on my friend! I always learn something from you.
25 rd mag is so bad.. I tested 10rds, 15 rds and 25 rds ruger mags. Guess what 15 rds mag is the best! 25 rds mag caused jams… I put the same aguila ammos into each mags n left them for a year before shooting them. I guess Spring inside 25 rd mag is bad.. so disappointed at 25 rds mag..
I was under the impression that the factory mags were superior to aftermarket mags. Next time I'm shooting I'm gonna try single feeding to see if my 10 22 shoots better.
@@stevedouglas5443 it's not aftermarket the 15 round mag is the factory mag for the Ruger charger pistol Ruger makes 5 10 15 25 and 50 round mag the 5 round is a blocked 10 round magazine for hunting or non American states and the 50 is to 25s molded together
@@STKO2011 I agree with you based on my experience! Also, 25 rd mag is so bad.. I tested 10rds, 15 rds and 25 rds ruger mags. This was so interesting to watch. It's hard to believe a mag could affect accuracy but when you explained the circumstance it just made sense. Thx.

thank you appreciate it!
I like the 25 round mag.Shoots very well.
Thanks I would have never thought it would be a difference between the two magazines.
The bx 10s are the only way to go most reliable
You're right my man that is a fact only the 10 round magazines run reliably
can you interchange the 15rd mag lip into the 10 rd?
Interesting! Now to try the 25 rd as well

Dang, imma try the 15 rounders. Thank you!
Taking my 10/22 to my property now along with the EXTAR EP9 and the AK. Haven't shot in awhile so I'm excited.
right on!
@@STKO2011 bought one of those groundhog targets that bounce around and had a blast with my dad.
@@2wheeleddemon999 that's awesome
That’s brilliant, going to a gun fair tomorrow am gonna get me a new mag
Oh yeah. Very good vid.
May need to back off the tension on the 10rd factory mag

Thanks yep both of these are Ruger mags are factory just different designs
@@STKO2011 god as my witness, I didn't know Ruger made an aftermarket mag.
@@stevedouglas5443 They also make a 25rd mag too

You are the most talented shot with factory crap 10/22 triggers I can imagine. Please try a Kidd single stage trigger set at 1.5 pounds !
As always great info thank you!
Thanks for watching!
Hey James...a little off the subject...how far do I slide your pellet bumper on my avenger 22 probe?
All the way down until it stops...the transfer port keeps it blown backwards
Thanks
Great video
I've always thought that the 10rd rotary boogers up bullets when loading. Shoot a group hand loading them ?
Wrong only the 10 round rotary magazines run reliably
Thanks for video.
You bet
🤔very interesting. Thanks
thanks!
CAMERA WAY OFF!!!
Thanks Sherlock, you don’t think he knows that? He edited the video. Where’s your videos showing your testing?
way off of what I saw all the shots
