This homemade Nutella (chocolate-hazelnut spread) is creamy, rich, chocolaty, and so delicious! It's also vegan, keto, and paleo friendly. We spread it on crepes, dip fruit in it, drizzle it on top of coconut flatbread, or just eat it with a spoon. I would argue that this homemade Nutella tastes better than the original version by Ferrero. Honestly. We're almost through my last batch I made two days ago? Yes, it's that good!

Vegan, paleo, keto nuttela: *exists*
Caveman: "Yes"
Here in Germany they sell a vegan "Nutella". To provide the creaminess they use lupine flour. It's really delicious!
This would taste so good on a warm crunchy toast 😩
YES!
Flaxseed rolls, straight from the oven. Definitely give them a go, if you get the chance.
@@NutritionRefined How to preserve this?
@@leochiu5972 The storing instructions are on my blog (in the recipe box), so I'm just going to copy and paste it here: "Store leftover Nutella in an airtight container in the refrigerator for several weeks. The Nutella will thicken when chilled. Simply bring it to room temperature to soften. For longer term storage, freeze in an airtight container for 3 months."
@@Mikathedog100 🤢🤮🤮🤮 flaxseed tastes the worst
i just made this and it’s SO GOOD. i used regular icing sugar (added more since monk fruit is sweeter than regular sugar) and omitted the lecithin and it still turned out great! it tastes just like the original 💓 i was scared that the coconut oil would alter the flavour but the coconut flavour is super SUPER subtle but if you don’t like coconut use refined coconut oil :)
Thank you so much for the feedback, Nikki! So happy you enjoyed the recipe so much!
Thank you.
Did you use dark chocolate?
Refined oil is very bad for our health :/
@@antonfomin007 use 100% cacao powder :)
Now I am in the mood to eat some fluffy pancakes with nutella!
Love this recipe already and have to give it a try! Thank you for explaining all about sweeteners and how they interact! Very informative!
Thanks for adding all those details, those are so important!
Thank you so much for watching, Marianne! ❤️
I love how detail you are. You got straight to the point.
Thank you! I appreciate it.
I tried, it's delicious. To make it faster and easier, I used natural hazelnut and cashew butter from the store.
You guys are so sweet together. I love that you don't feel you have to agree on everything. It's ok to have differing tastes and opinions after all! ❤️
I love that sugar isn't the first ingredient! This looks so yummy!
This looks incredible! I love how you explained everything in great detail. Well done! I can't wait to make this.😁
Wow I just tried this and it is absolutely delicious!! My kids LOVE nutella and they totally approved this one. Thanks for sharing !
This woman truly is the best

Tus recetas y tu son adorables!!!! Gracias por compartir!!
looks yummy, i gotta try the recipe soon! Thanks
This looks so good.. I've always had my pancakes with nutella, but I've stopped eating it in the past.. 5 or 6 years as I started avoiding products with too much sugar content. I HAVE to give this a go! Thanks for the recipe!
I love all your recipes!!!
thank you for sharing the recipes. i really like it! Thanks a lot
Vegan Nutella is BOMB (especially with crepes)
this video is honestly underrated you should make a company that produces this as a competitor against nutella i am dead serious
I've seen enough nutella recipe videos on UA-cam to say that this one comes closest to the real thing in terms of appearance and consistency. Also being thicker is good news cause thats the best thing about the real nutella.
Super przepis! 😍
Amazing, keep up the good work !
Thank you ☺️
i just made a pot voor hubby and we both like it, so thank you for the recipe
Sin ver el video le pongo LIKE, sé que todos son buenisimos!! 😋😋😋😋
Saludos 😊😊💕💕
My mouth was watering as I watched this video!!
Good ingredients and totally Palm Oil Free, treat for all the family and a clear conscience.
Looks very tasty, I‘ll have to try that
Turned out superb. Just substituted the monkfruit powder with more powdered brown sugar and the lecithin with guar gum powder. THANK YOU
I will go with your version since I thought the original Nutella was too sweet and I love hazelnut butter. Thanks for sharing the recipe.
I’m so gonna make this cause I love Nutella 😍🥰
Thank you so much, I miss Nutella so much since I've been off sugar so I am looking forward to giving this a try :)
That looks good. Will try!
Thank you for this recipe, looks delicious! I'm getting my hazelnuts later. And will report back when I have this recipe ready! 😊🙏🏻
Wow, simply fantastic! I was about to ask you for the food processor but I've already seen there is the link on the description. Thank you!! :)
Thank you so much for watching!

Thank you so much, Ivana! ❤️

great and easy recipe. I like that a lot
Looks so good. I was using nutilite but I can't way to make my own sugar free version! Thank you!
Love it! 🤎
That looks so goooddddd
Thank-you!
Nice one Anna.
I made your earlier recipe and that's awesome although this looks like you've improved on it. Great job again .
Thank you so much! ❤
Looking creamy and yummy, I can't wait to make it .Thanks for sharing
Thank you so much, Tamara!
Hi Petra, many thanks for this recipe! I think I blended it for a long time, it was quite liquid even when I added coconut oil. I have put it in the fridge to see if it thickens a bit more. It tastes delicious!!!, however, I think it's better without coconut oil.
the nutella I need right now
Wonderful and amazing delicious , healthy thanks for helping my family to enjoy good life.love you 😘
Bravo 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🌹
thank you to share, looks like interesting couldn`t understand the last ingredient..
*Excellent.* ❤❤
I appreciate you, thanks alot.
I've never liked nutella...but yours looks really yummy!!
Thank you Kitara! ❤️
Hi, thanks for the yummy recipe ❤️❤️a quick question,do you use the nuts warm or you let them cool down first?

Thank you so much... 😘😘😘😘🥰
Hello and thanks for your fabulous recipes!! I was wondering: how much nut butter for 2 c of hazelnuts? How do you convert? Thanks again! you inspire!
Looks sooo good omg😍😍
Thank you! ❤️
@@NutritionRefined they are high but if eaten as a spread like a little at a time you may just fit them into your macros🤷♀️
Your husband is a lucky man. Excellent recipe!
Wow . U r the best
Wow. So nice
Hi Petra, This looks delicious!! Can it be frozen??
Thanks for the recipe! Can we use liquid sunflower lecithin rather than the powder?
Hi & thank you for making this video! Could I use maple syrup if I include the sunflower lecithin? @NutritionRefined
NICE ! I💗💗it when u explained the reasons clearly to get the desired recipe of our choice 👍👍 Well done ❣where r u from ? Much 💟from Indonesia.......😚😚😚😚
How you made it sooo smoothie like spread? Usually these healthy Nutella is a bit grainy and doesn’t looks like It ❤️
That looks gorgeous, can you dehydrate the hazelnuts to keep the nutella raw while reducing the moisture? I'm vegan but interested in becoming as close to a 100% raw vegan as I possibly can. Thank's
Hi! I tried this recipe and I loved it! I just had a little problem and maybe you can tell me what happened. I made it 4 days ago and I noticed yesterday that it had like an acid smell. I think is getting bad. I haven't kept it in the fridge but I understood that it'd last a bit longer right? Do you have any idea? Oh and I didn't use the lecithin cause I didn't have it at home if that makes a difference. Thanks 🙏💕
currently enjoying some vegan mac and cheese and this just makes me want some dessert!!
Haha, I totally understand. I just made a batch of this Nutella yesterday and we have gone through quarter of it already :-D
Are the caju's raw or slightly toasted?? Thanks for posting this video. One of the few nutella videos that it looks so smooth. Others seem to add vanilla extract which may be the reason they seize
Hi, thank's for the recepties! In Serbia sunflower lecitin we have only in capsules, what can I use for replacement? 😊
You can also soak then dehydrate hazelnuts until dry which are more crispy than raw and more beneficial because they are now "activated" thus absorption of nutrition is enhanced. For highest quality you want to find raw "Cacao" powder not "cocoa" cocoa is processed with heat which removes many of the excellent chemicals in found in raw cacao that are good for you. Nevertheless, excellent video as always, simple and effective :) Oh and one more thing, you can add cacao butter and or cacao paste instead of dark chocolate/coconut oil and a pinch of sea salt.
Will you please tell me the brand, price, and store/source for your sunflower lecithin (and monkfruit powder,is this processed ,or dried pulverized fruit/roots/seed pods?)? Still haven't been able to find chickpea miso locally, online shopping is challenging in my case, and soy product doesn't suit me in quantity... would love to know where l might get this 😀.
Have you ever made hazel nut bonbons out of this? Or a torte? Would love to see a version of the hazelnut butter, hazelnut in the center, coated by milk chocolate...
Thx for video , please if u can write the ingredients .
My regards ...
i love this recipe problem is live in rural south ga area and ingredients are hard to find
Would using some sunflower seeds in the mix provide enough natural lecithin emulsification to omit the sunflower lecithin powder?
Question! Can I use butter instead of coconut oil? Will it make the same effect?
Hii dear can i use coconut sugar in this recipe
Is this grainy from the hazelnuts like most nut butter?
If you have a coffee grinder, you can grind up things like coconut sugar, into a fine powder, to use in this or anything else. Then you don't need to use artificial sweeteners.
I am thinking about making this, but am wondering if roasting the nuts hydrogenates the oils in the nuts. Would be so much tastier if it’s roasted though.
My hazelnuts get skins off for only 10-12 minutes or 12-14 minutes in the oven, (I don’t have powdered monofruit sweetener), so I use brown sugar, and (sell non-vegan nutella too)
I like it
I cannot find lecithin for my life! can it be replaced or skipped? what does it do in the recipe? thank you
mmmm so good
I know the idea is not to count calories, but how do you think this would compare to regular Nutella? Although regular Nutella is mostly sugar, sugar is less caloric than fat, so i'm curious how it would stack up against recipe like this one. Cheers!
I wanted to see your original recipe using the food processor and no coconut oil. Where can I find that one?
Can I forgo the sunflower lecithin? Or what would be a possible substitute?
Good morning,
ist coconutsugar really keto? IT has so much sugar?!
Yummmmm 😋😋😋
Would the flavourful be compromised if you omitted the sweetener and the fat?
Thank you! Would you consider making a lemon cake, topped with fresh berries, and a whipped topping. I'm trying to find a lemon bread recipe with no eggs and butter and sugar to be difficult. I know it is something baked. I would love this for the summertime, and if you.share your ideas , It would be a blessing. Thank you for considering this! You all are wonderful!
Thank you Emily! I am working on a lot of projects right now, but I will put your request on my list. Thank you for the suggestion :)
