Dear reader, if you had a bad day, just remember. Be thankful that you are not in jail awaiting trial for murder, be thankful that someone isn't plotting your murder. Your life could be a LOT worse than it is right now.

I mean there are people at home dying from terminal cancer watching this and even those in jail have a much higher chance of having some type of life but OK. It's telling that you think being in jail, alive, being housed, and fed is MUCH WORSE than anything else that could possibly happen to someone. To start off, the VICTIMS and their families are WORSE off than the guy in jail. Even if they get the death penalty, that doesn't fix or heal their pain/loss. This is simple stuff, k?
Only white people make dumb comments like this. Your privilege doesn't even let you IMAGINE the awful things happening to misfortune people on a DAILY basis.
So, just watch the video and shut up. The majority of people who aren't ignorant like yourself don't want life advice from a wilfully ignorant person like you.
      Thx,
      Management

I know this story very well. I grew up in this area. Tyjohn is from my neighbor. He went to school with my niece. Karen worked at our local corner store. I've had many conversations with her. She was always a pleasant person to talk to. You never truly know who you are engaging with. This is a sad story. To know that I looked at a future murderer on a frequent basis gives me the creeps!

If Lynn received 7.5 years then Mr. Cooper shouldn’t have gotten life. He wasn’t at the scene, didn’t kill or plan to kill Mr. Tobie, so he shouldn’t have gotten life for overcharging her for a gun. Because that’s what his sentence amounts to.

John's mom holds a key material of whom could have pulled the trigger. She was the one who went to the door at first and should tell the court as to whether it was a male or female voice that asked for John. That will certainly shed light on who pulled the trigger and perhaps have the perpetrators face a long sentence. I believe Lynn got away with much more.

Am I crazy? Did they just not show us this part or I don't understand. His mother would've been THE ONLY PERSON who could have at the very least, pointed out who most likely pulled the trigger.
In my opinion, Tysjohaun was convicted with extreme reasonable doubt! Where in the actual fk do they get these clownshows for jurors??
I am a true crime junkie and I would never go with jury trial. I've seen more than enough ppl get wrongfully convicted only to later be proven not guilty after the fact because of ppl convicting without concrete proof.

Not having watched the trial or knowing all of the evidence, but just based on what I saw on this show, this would be my take on the case. Lynn took full advantage of Karen. Motive... the baby!! This had nothing to do with money or abuse. It all had to do with getting that baby. Karen, in her drug and alcohol stupor, could have inadvertently mentioned something about wishing he was dead or had heard a story of this nature and absolutely meaning nothing by it, set off an idea in Lynn's head. Lynn then could have started obsessing on the idea and actually carried it out. Using the "The first one to spill the beans gets the best deal" to her advantage, as well!! Using Karen and Ty as scapegoats. I really don't think that Ty knew what was going on. He seen an opportunity to make a huge profit and so he did it. He unfortunately, didn't give it any thought, I don't think. Many people work that way. Don't think about anything other than what''s going on in the moment. Don't question anything, don't suspect anything. Let's learn some positives from this case. Always question EVERYTHING! Don't become a Karen and be a drug and alcohol sponge to be taken advantage of. In my opinion, Lynn got 7 years for cold blooded murder. She was the lone conspirator. BTW... my adopted mother went to great lengths to get my child from me. Not to this extent, but this is how I know what lengths people would go to in order to get a child they appear to love and want to keep.

Couldn't have said it better. Agree 1000%. Lynne Blake is guilty as sin!!! The sentences should have been swopped. Tysjohaun Cooper did it strictly for the money & wasn't complicit in the murder. He was fed the story that they (Lyn & Karen) apparently needed the gun for protection. However when he handed over the gun, he ONLY met with Lynne. She (and only she) was the mastermind. Karen was just easy to manipulate, being spaced out 24/7.

Personally, I don't feel that Tyjuon (sp??) Cooper should've gotten life. He didn't do anything but get a gun for these two crazy white women. I mean, he should've told them no, he didn't want any part of it, true. But he didn't pull the trigger, & supposedly, didn't even know that it was supposed to be used in a murder, so why should he get life plus 30 years!!?!? That's a bit much in my book. Idk, maybe he did have more to do with it than what he said....but I think that he was approached by these 2 white ladies, & was offered $3000 for a gun...he saw a great way to make some quick cash and took it. I can name off plenty of other people that, if they were offered the same deal, they would have done the same thing. I just think that he shouldn't have gotten such a stiff sentence.

The defenses claim that Lynn wanted to get rid of Karen and the other guy that got them the gun (sorry I'm drawing a blank on his name) so she could have the baby is ludicrous.
