ThankU. I gradually improved. As someone commented, quitting alcohol. 25 years. Alcohol inflames emotions, especially anger. I needed therapy, to learn reactivity was deeply embedded in my neurology. I'm glad I'm old

This is great video. Very simple things we can all work on to be more grounded and mindful. Easier said than done but consistency is the key 🙏🏾

Consistency is truly key bro, if I’ve learned anything about progress it is that. 💪

All it took me was a little bit of will power and consciousness. I learned to check myself after that.

I agree people reacting to me instead of me reacting to them.

What do you when you are quiet by yourself and travelling in a public transport, and people snort at you or belittle you, most of the time?

You create a story in your mind that serves you. Are they doing that because they are intimidated or because they sense weakness? You have to be alone enough to build your confidence in yourself so that kind of stuff doesn’t effect you.

With enough alone time, you may also one day realize that they will snort at and belittle people whether or not you are there. Their actions are their own. Your actions are yours.

It tels more about them in a way … what I try to do is to focus on my breathing. Becoming aware of my thoughts and see them for what they are. I’m still not a pro at it because i exploded to a female bartender recently who just kicked me out for no logical reason. I guess she has a feminist attitude towards man. But although I exploded and left the event i don’t punish myself. We’re all humans and learning.
