The perfect role? Hell no. There are absolutely many things you can learn from him, many of which Shayan covers. However he's still insanely flawed. He keeps his family in the dark, has really shit interpersonal relationships, uses people like pawns for his own gain without their knowledge or consent, which makes him a great character, but you shouldn't try to be exactly like him.
@@Masa6x well you shouldn't be exactly like anyone lol, bcz your moral compass is not the same as them, hence even if you have a perfect role model you can't actually agree with him 100 percent. 'Perfect role model of the normal man' I think this guy meant in the corporate and business, especially the political realm as they are full of corrupt leaders
@@Masa6x the point of making him a role model doesn’t mean copy his character but rather select the positive ones for example the art of being unreactive. Many men can’t discern it’s common sense to know what is positive and negative only fools will want to copy his negative traits
The thing to remember about Tommy is that he survived the great war. Not only that but he was a part of one of the MOST dangerous and Stressful units of that war. Tunnellers. Thay had a massive attrition rate. To come through that it's not surprising that he was able to master his emotions, on the flip side it could have utterly and absolutely broken him as it did in real life to hundreds of thousands of young men of the time.
1. Non reactivity 2. Emotional regulation (especially through physical exercise, breathing and meditation) 3. State breaking questions (used to redirect conversation, thought, or power. Use sparingly.) 4. Regulating your mask (maintaining control over ego by thinking ahead and planning all the way to the end and only showing emotions or weakness/strengths strategically.)
The moment my doctor said my medical condition will be with me forever, I learned to become reactive and force me to none reactive in any social pressures throw at me. Despite of this condition I’m glad to have it. Learn the dynamics of life.
Perfect timing Mr Wahedi, correction Dr Wahedi. I started trading about a month ago and realized my biggest problem wasn't lack of trading related knowledge but lack of emotional non-reactivity and I've been working to improve on it over the past week. I'm excited to gain knowledge from your video. Thank you for the tremendous value you provide to us for free on youtube. Keep rising Shayan and let us all keep rising as the viewers of this amazing channel.
@@rafayashfaq5663 I developed my strategy so that I have a more solid edge/high probability setup. Then i made sure to write down in a detailed manner why I'm entering a trade. This would give me more confidence in the trade. I then set predetermined stop loss and take profit. I'd tell myself that I've already lost this trade and I'd feel comfortable with the amount I'll lose. Then I looked at the chart always(during managing the trade) without looking at the amount of money my trade is making or losing
Shelby has PTSD from WW1 and his nervous system is most likely very dis-regulated. The non-reactive behaviour can also be the freeze trauma response. Another way to look at this is if you regulate your nervous system, situations in front of you are no factor. Stoicism also helps. TS is one of the most compelling characters the past decade, Murphy is a master but glamorizing a fictional character isn't getting to the core of self mastery. It's just window dressing.
Shayan forget Thomas Shelby, I really like the way you sit and talk confidently in suits. Awesome brother. Create videos on ART OF SEDUCTION ROBERT GREENE.
At first taking cold showers is hard but later you notice you want more cold. I don't know how to explain it, you definitely have to try it. Now I can even relax while having the shower at max cold.
Hey man Great videos, have to say the quality of videos has improved significantly and are more captivating ,doing a great job making them and hope your channel grows.
my man, I am lost back in life back in time. I have an amazing character of my own on which people identify me for who I am, like you mentioned, to set my boundaries, what makes me happy, and things I like and don't like. But these days I am Lost 😢 I have sold my being mine to others and the external world after one crucial moment in life cursed one help get me myself the lost me please😢😢😢
I’m surprised you did all these body language analysis videos and didn’t even talk about James Saint Patrick! One of the most complex alpha male figures that made it on tv… please look into the power series! Not the books i mean the FIRST 6 seasons of that drama series
The benefit of being non-reactive i don't think was discussed enough. Use my replies as a place to discuss the benefits of non-reactivity. Non-reactivity absolutely becomes easier when one has a greater goal. A greater vision.
I really enjoyed the vedio thank you.. Please make more vedios like that be active and serious to this channel i watch all vedios of this channel And I am waiting impatiently to the new vedio :')
Next time, you could dive into Moneyball movie, Brad Pitt body Language and how cool+stoic he is in that particular movie. Especially in the scene where the managers are discussing the future of company and how Brad Pitt dominates the entire group. It was BRILLIANT
Thomas Shelby should be the perfect role model of the modern man. We need to learn the art of being unreactive
More to life than that
What is happening to masculune equation channel?

bro your channel is like a diamond in the coal mine, I'm with you for the last 1 year.
Lots of love from India.
It would be a huge help if you could make a video on showing emotions strategically and using them to your advantage,
Loved this video ❤
Great idea 💡
That is called manipulation.
In a positive direction*
All you had to do was control your social life. Don't text or call to everyone but just the ones that matter😂

13:41 I like how the script mentions/ foreshadows a topic that will be shown later in the video here. Keeps the viewer interested.

I’m glad you’re back Shayan, can’t wait to see all the upcoming content💯⚔️

I have mastered non-reactivity in online classes and meetings 😌
And keep breathing in stressfull situations. Especially: exhale. Find the silence in yourself...
Most well spoken person I've ever seen
This is one of the best UA-cam’s I’ve watched in a long time. Big ups sir👍
After watching this, I love it.
It's time to take note and do it. Thank you again, see you on Friday!
Be carefull to USE nonreactivity and not BECOME nonreactive. Your loved ones should get an emotional response, not over emotional but proportionate.
عالی بود داداش

Hell yeah this are the videos we've been waiting for!!
