I had sound in less than a minute.
Thank you for doing this today. I have to save it somewhere I can find it again.
I hope Dr. K has no damage from the nasty weather and look forward to his informational lecture in the future.
I will edit out the silent part by tomorrow.
Maybe a follow-on lecture on the effects of the vagus nerve on stress and the effects it causes on the rest of an individuals health .
That's a good topic. Will do.
@DrBeenMedicalLectures thank you. I suffer if blood pressure drops below a certain point. This lecture will assist with the control of the stress and follow-on effects.
Makes sense. Praying for your recovery.
Birds signing and effect on vagus nerve ... look at the topic
Some people blurt out ignorant things just to see themselves in print. They don't bother to learn anything about science or how studies are done.
I see it happening.
SOUND COMES ON AT 55 SECONDS IN
Thanks
Thx!
Thank you
@25:16
“There was someone who was disrupting too much. I had to let him out.”
Shameful that people can be disrespectful to Dr Mobeen Syed.
Thank you Arie!
An excellent talk, Dr. Been. I much appreciated the sharing. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Can exercises oriented to nitric oxide production or vagus nerve stimulation help to reverse impact of more than five year lasting anxiety especially if one is 60 years old (low NO production)?
My thinking (I may be wrong) that yes, any method to improve blood flow and reduce inflammation will have the brain tissue heal.
Yes thank you, I asked about anxiety before💙if people don't appreciate this primo education they're well, uneducated 😄
My pleasure!
Liking-in with a hello to @Drbeen Medical Lectures and all KoolBeens!
Welcome Cynthia!
What we can do to repair blood vessel damage after 1 time high exposure to toxin through food (industrial products, cleaners) that happened 3 years ago? Are there any supplements that might help?
This needs to be worked up by a doctor to check for the inflammatory status, inflammatory biomarkers, vessel health, blood flow, heart status and then a plan for reducing inflammation and helping heal the vessels will be made.
I think sometimes, in answer to your question, Dr. Been, some people either want a very complicated and new answer. Others want a pill or exercise to fix it immediately.
Makes sense.
This is a Good Lecture, please keep it up a few days . . . 🙏
OK. I will leave it up till Monday.
@@DrBeenMedicalLectures Thank you. I am sorry it is going to hide.
Do you feel that it should stay up permanently? It is a long video without structure and with doodles. I also have not attached any backing up evidence as I just spoke from my medical knowledge.
I will not take it down. Also keep the link. Even if I hide it the link will still take you to this video.
This video is worth keeping up!!
OK. I thought I was just doodling and speaking off the top of my head.
Thank you Dr Been.
I teach mainly 16-18 year olds, and post 2020 have seen unprecedented levels of anxiety and other issues in that age group. Given that their brains are not fully mature/ developed, it is a real concern to me for their futures
Thank you for your comment. Yes, I am pretty concerned about the epidemic of anxiety in our society (even globally) after COVID. Current generations are scarred by this event.
Also the impact of post viral illness (PVI) on the brain is largely ignored/unknown. Only we “long/long haulers” fully understand it. I only gained understanding in the past decade after being stricken with debilitating PVI post a severe EBV episode (that went undiagnosed for years & ended up crushing my immune system/destroying my health for decades). Hint: I fixed my gut & am healthier than ever! Be well.
"Neurons that fire together, wire together." is a truism that is often used to help explain long term memory.
That's a good way to express it.

Doesn't high fructose also inhibit hippocampal neurogenesis?
Many factors do, I was discussing within the context of the anxiety and dementia study.
That means that negative feelings amplify negative feelings and vice vetsa. Is this correct? If yes, then one solution could be trying to see and emphasize only the nice and positive things in life. And to ignore everything that‘s bad.
In theory yes. The issue is that anxiety can be because of factors that are more than the negative feelings. For example financial distress will need a different way of fixing the problem and anxiety as a consequence.
You lesson are very timely and thorough. I appreciate the heads up.
Good to know.
Thank you so much for a very enlightening and interesting presentation.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Yes,
There’s always haters!
True.
Fully appreciate you Dr B 🙏🏼💯
Thank you!
I remember first diagnosed with anxiety. It was a relief to know that I wasn't at fault. Mindfulness helped. I remember a book called 30 Days to Reduce Anxiety by Harper Daniels being a good start.
Thank you Dr. Mobin to define the difference between judging on how I/my gut feel to scientific research studies of an issue. Bravooooo
Fascinating. Please keep this going. It's so valuable to have you review the these studies.
💜doc m it was so interesting and love the drawings I'm an artist too
You are welcome. My drawings in this lecture were just doodles :-)
Wow, this is very interesting and yet very scary as anxiety usually spikes and sometimes in severely for women when they hit perimenopause, which is really an unavoidable thing..
HRT can help but it takes a knowledgeable dr in rhe field of HRT to find the right treatment and most obgyns and MDs are not educated in this area at all. Womens health is seriously lacking.
No sound
My mic was mute. I just edited the video to remove the silent part. YT will update it shortly.
still no sound
Sorry. My mic was muted. I will edit out the silent part tomorrow. YT is still processing the video.
Yes please
Will do.
So glad I did not miss this lecture!
to many commercials
I watched the chit chat and lost my connection on my end. I am looking forward to watching and listening again.
Thank you.
Is the heart not able to be remodeld after a certain time frame as well?
Heart continues to remodel. However, once it moves towards heart failure then correcting is almost impossible. Hence, we should work with our doctors to make sure that heart is stress free as much as possible.
