It’s a common misconception but 4 doors are actually stiffer than 2 door Imprezas because of the central B pillar.
Like this car, rally cars of the era had cages so it was never a big deal.

Also this isn’t a V-Limited, it’s a version 3 555 edition. The only V-Limited Type R was the version 4 followed by the Type R Limited version 5 & 6 (they dropped the V in the name)
