Dear Ms Pearl, I’m a Sri Lankan living in London (my husband LOVES cauliflower cheese btw) There were so many moments in your video that brought back nostalgic memories from over 30yrs ago from back home. Your stove, your technique, even your beautiful serving platters and plates.. How amazing is it that across various cultures, languages and countries we all share such similar experiences. You’ve got yourself a new subscriber and thank you for this lovely video. I’m going to try these recipes and see how it turns out :) lots of love xx
That was a cooking marathon and done completely on the hob, so much more difficult without an oven and hard work but you did it with ease! I always make potato stuffing when we have roast chicken, a recipe I learned from my lovely late Anglo Indian mother in law, one of many delicious recipes she taught me x
@@pearlskitchen9999 It really is delicious and very simple to make. My MIL made the most wonderful masala chops, thin slices of beef with spices served with potatoes and lots of fried onions. But I don’t have her recipe, so If you have then please make a video 🙏

It's amazing that you chose to do it all 'like your mom did it' n also not as a now uk resident, but as still an indian, anglo-Indian! From a once Chennai resident. All the very best on your channel n future. Regards. (The comments of the community here are so sweet, n vouch for the friendly anglo-Indian spirit too!).
I've just come across your channel Pearl whilst looking for Indian Christmas dinner recipes, so pleased i found it. I'm not Anglo Indian but parents were Irish mum and Bangladeshi dad, (Bangladesh was once part of India pre partition). I love how youve made these dishes and taken into consideration not everyone has access to an oven. I hope i can recreate your dishes.
Congratulations, you've put together a wonderful Christmas dinner and you've made it look effortless. It has brought back wonderful childhood memories. Thank you.
Being a foodie & a cook, l😢 find of all savoury dishes videoed by you, your Christmas dinner spread is a real labour of love in its repertoire of some of the most sought after dishes, a true feast which only a gourmet can appreciate. Hi Pearl, I've just discovered your videos and enjoyed making the Anglo Indan Ball Curry last Sunday. Your voice was very soft and I could barely hear you, despite turning up the volume of the speakers...but I managed somehow..perhaps you didn't have a speaker on you. The twist of mixing the curry gravy into the meat was a good suggestion. There was no time to make the yellow rice but it still tasted good with white rice.
Hi Anthony, yes sorry about the volume, some phones had that problem and some didn’t so couldn’t understand that, but got a new mic now so hopefully the new videos don’t have that problem 🙏🏽❤️
