Pearl, thanks for the authentic pepper-water recipe. My siblings can't seem to cook and no one can make pepper water till I spotted your video upload. Yes, my mum, Noreen, used to strain the masala water before tempering with onions, curry leave and mustard seeds. Hers was the perfect version and I'm sure, with your vast culinary knowledge, the taste of this dish too will be tops. There I go again with my mouth watering. I'm such a pepper-water Joe!!!
