- I stayed at the funky Lorenzo Hotel in Dallas the night before the big total eclipse event the next day. The Lorenzo is part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton.
The rate for the night was $350 + $20 for parking.

@@Letme_Speak Maybe he was but supply and demand dictates the price of everything, I know people who flew in for the Eclipse a week early as the price of flights were doubling by the day here in America. Sad to say his flight to the event was cheaper than a nights stay, but it was worth it to Stephen for such an event, There is no way Id sleep over in my rental car in Texas.

The hotel prices were high because it was the day before the eclipse. I'm sure they were at least double the price. I think your lucky to even get a room on such short notice. I was down in Austin for the eclipse and the rooms were super expensive for Monday and the weekend before the eclipse.

Thanks for show your room Steven nice view having that long mirror it good for viewing your clothes on the many women like myself look at these so I look smart but that ceiling is crazy and the carpet is based on Shakespeare so yes no Shaun mentioned the mirrors dirty minded but love the glasses hope your going to take some from the hotel hotel is day light robbery but love the funky side of hotel 350 dollars is very expensive nice heart work around hotel Total eclipse of the heart. Love the swimming room a lot cleaner than. Blackpool sea are you going swimming I would not sure if they have star rating there but great paintings around people are very very friendly I do. Hope uou see the eclipse cloudy 😅

Stephen what a cool hotel! I wish you would have packed away the coffee cup for a souvenir from this hotel, everyone takes a souvenir! You did a great job reviewing it. I’m sure they should have had complementary breakfast, looked like taco bar. Did u check? I would have definitely gone in that pool, especially at night with music & lights. I think the price was a bit much, but with the pool… fun! Thanks so much for the review. Take the cups with hotel name & robes if they have them! Writing pads with pens, complimentary with your stay. 👍👏💕
Everyone takes a souvenir, Really? Stephen would have got home and they would have charged an arm and a leg for that coffee cup. Here they check the rooms and know some people are light fingered, so they really would bill you.

Your hotel room is different but, actually, quite nice. You will never forget the experience, Stephen. It certainly is better than your car - That sounds very unsafe to me. Breakfast at a hotel around where I live would cost about 15 to 20 dollars. Great video and a great memory for you.
We enjoyed watching this last night another good presentation, I have been to Dallas back in 2016 its changed a lot especially in the town center, the ZaZa hotel would have been worth a look at also Rosewood mansion on turtle creek hotel Dallas where Margaret Thatcher used to stay when visiting her son Mark who lived in Fortworth until he was expelled from the country. Rosewood mansion is a big A list celebrity hotel Pavaroti also used to stay there when in town., the staff let me and my wife in for a look around, they also told us stories of the celebs who stayed there! Both these hotels were near you as you walked around the city center of Dallas.

Good Evening Stephen. I really Loved this Incredible edition of the Hilton Hotels range the LORENZO!!!!!. Absolutely Stunning, Beautiful Decoration on the walls, Loved the moving and seeing all eyes, very Modern looking and Gobsmacking Artistic design all around you. A very Lovely and Cosy room you stayed in Stephen. Gorgeous Bathroom with a very modern shower, very nice Beverage making facilities, what a view from your Huge Hotel window. Your breakfast i thought that it was rather small and lacking in Ingredients. Where were the Baked Beans, Fried Mushrooms, Black Pudding. For what you paid Stephen for Your Hotel and the parking, not bad really $ 400, roughly about £ 200 pounds in English pound sterling. I hope you had a Lovely time Stephen at this Beautiful Hotel in Sunny Dallas before Total Solar Eclipse. Thank you for sharing Stephen.

BTW Steve, when you’re at JFK tomorrow and have twelve hours to kill try going to the American Airlines Admiral’s Club. If they have room you can buy a day pass for around fifty quid. It’s a very pleasant spot with good wifi and free food and drink. Of course it’s complimentary if your flying Business class…
I’ll be there overnight, so I don’t think any lounges will be open after a certain time.

We thought we recognised the blue men on the side of the Lorenzo hotel. Sure enough, something similar can be found on the Waverly Hotel in Edinburgh 🤔 We don't think it's affiliated so we're wondering who copied who?

I saw rates of $110 to $141 for a room at the Lorenzo Hotel in Dallas. The Hall Arts Hotel in Downtown Dallas which is in the heart of the Dallas Art District, across from the AT & T Performing Arts Center, Museums and Dealey Plaza, charges $349 to $512 and up for their rooms.

We love your style of hotel reviews- I guess you expect to pay top dollar as there was a big volleyball tourney on plus the awesome eclipse so pleased you got to see it made it well worth it. Surprised no Bacon on your breakfast, I guess free refills on coffee usually offered in US look forward to the next one

Swanky swish hotel there Stephen $350 a night Wowsers! I would have expected a breakfast to be included for that price though. Nevertheless a brilliant hotel vlog, you should definitely follow in the footsteps of Walk With Me Tim and The MacMaster and do more of these international vlogs, you are a natural at this Stephen.👍

Thats not a bad price for the time . Hotels here were changing as much as 3k a night because of the Eclipse.

Hello Stephen. That hotel looked very nice but being a traditionalist my favorite hotel that my family stayed in is the Imperial Hotel in Blackpool. Eight of us stayed in it about 6 years ago and we got a discount an our room was a large double overlooking the sea for 150 pounds a night breakfast included. Well done.

Another Great Review, A nice hotel in a very strange way, and spendy too, the eyes and that concrete ceiling really put me about, Loved the shower where you either freeze or burn.
The Breakfast looked rubbish for the money, those are what we call Country potato's, the eggs and toast is usually good but American sausage is very gristly, I find it too spicy, sausage here is sold as links or patties but they would both taste the same, I would always order bacon in a restaurant.
Those coffee cups do my head in, its more like the size of bucket.
I noticed you using your fork with your left hand, Heck I use my knife and fork as I was taught by my Mum, Americans are quite fascinated to watch me eat like that LOL.
