- I stayed a night at the new Holiday Inn hotel in Blackpool's Talbot Gateway. The hotel is part of the North Station tram stop, linking the trams with the railway station.

I am sure the Holiday Inn will be absolutely delighted with your video Stevie, you have given them very tastefully filmed, free advertising. You are a wonderful ambassador for Blackpool, and with almost 60k subscribers, I imagine that this video will have a huge impact on the bookings for the hotel. It would be lovely to see some of your exceptional photographic work hanging on the walls of the Holiday Inn. I loved this video, your choice of music complimented the film perfectly xx

You've done a big favour for those of us that don't and it's nice to see the standard of the hotel, was wondering what it was like. The food looked good but expensive but I suppose you pay for the name. You need to do a few more like this to give those of us who want to stay in Blackpool more choices.👍😊😊

Please, Please, Please Stephen, do a series involving more hotels, guest houses and b+b's please as there is an abundance of them in Blackpool, it would be superb to get your take on them and even your recommendations. Remember you did St. Ives in Lytham, well based upon your video of that, I actually stayed there last October and loved it, thank you so much. Take care.

My wife and I love your videos and have just watched your stay in the new holiday inn,really good apart from one thing,FIlming yourself at breakfast.My wife was in hysterics the way you shovelled the food into your gob,not a good look and I was gobsmacked you ate it all.Keep up the good work.

Good to see rails down and in use again, on the site of the former main site of Blackpool Central Station.
It was the site of Blackpool NORTH STATION. Central Station was just off the central promenade near where Coral Island is now.

Recently stayed at a pet friendly holiday Inn and it was absolutely fabulous. Really clean (did a dust test) breakfast was good and the hotel view was amazing) I would recommend holiday inn tbf. Great vlog Stephen

We really enjoyed your experience at the New Holiday Inn, your a regular Joe and always give a fair honest review, we enjoyed your east coast and Texas hotel reviews too so please do more.
The only thing that seemed odd to me was those deckchairs, I have a feeling they may slide when trying to sit in them, its all to make it look more holiday themed and I appreciate that.
The hotel, room and meals looked lovely, Id be willing to stay there, very tastefully done.
The Beer Monster comment really made us laugh, its nice that those folks from Preston would treat you to a drink.

£100 a night is why I discovered Benidorm 4☆ hotel Sol Pelicanos (Yes that one) in March for a week £450 including flights breakfast & Dinner. Thats why I stopped travelling for days out around Yorks/Lancs this summer. It just became too much effort, too expensive on trains- and once I realised how far I could go for guaranteed sunshine on less money, the UK seasides lost out. I still love your videos they're so interesting but - thats the reality xx Great Video I hope Holiday Inn appreciate it.

By the very nature of my job, I have attended most of the hotels along the Blackpool prom.
There are probably three hotels, at most, that I would want to stay in as a paying guest. And from your review The Holiday Inn is at the top of that list by a country mile.

Blackpool's regeneration seems to be going a lot better than Bolton's. It's starting to look very nice. All them new buildings, new trams and tidy streets.
