I think the reasons your videos are so popular are because they are so down to earth - they don't push any political views or controversial agendas - easy going and pleasant which we appreciate these days . Apparently the red dwarf star called T CrB in the Corona Borealis is going to Nova this month. I don't know which direction to see it in! I mean North or South etc. Says it will reach Mag +2 and be visible to the naked eye for a week. Can you help me find it?! Tonight around 18.00 ish I saw a bright star going east to west slowly fairly low in the southern sky. It was defo a star. Was that it?! It was still daylight and was the only star in the sky, so it MUST be bright! Lucky man! Its Christmas already!!
Could have been the ISS you saw. Corona Borealis, or the Northern Crown is quite easy to spot, so seeing the nova shouldn't be too difficult if you are determined. Look towards the east in late evening.
