Well as someone who only uses his camera phone I didn’t think I would sit through all this vid’ but I did and it was interesting. I had always wondered what you used. When I watch these vlogs I always wondered why in heavily populated areas no one ever stares directly into the camera?

Clearly spoken and explained the new camera extremely well. osmo camera looks amazing and agree looks much better design. Makes nice change you keeping worm on camera. I live in Bolton but do try to visit Blackpool as often as I can as it helps with my anxiety and love open air city and towns to visit. Even watching your videos is like listening to a good friend as you come across to me and I bet all your viewers. Honestly really enjoyed this video and look forward to new videos. Bought one about 3 weeks back so far impressed with low light mode absolutely brilliant
I have the osmo pocket 2 and was offered the 3 but they haven't fixed the issue of overheating so I cannot justify the price hike and I'm going to keep my 2 for filming.
The issue is fixed in the latest firmware update. I let it record in my bedroom with the heating on at 4k 60fps. It went on for over 50 minutes until I manually stopped it as I had to go out.

I have this. It's a monster. It's also my first gimbal camera. Taking a bit of getting used to with the bobbing motion while walking...
You can get a 3rd party Z-axis stabiliser but they are a bit clunky
@@AWalkontheWildSideBlackpool Yes I have seen that. Not for me. You can connect the mic to your phone too stephen via Bluetooth. Might be useful for when you go live.

Good Evening Steve. I really Love your brand new DJI Osmo Pocket 3 camera. The picture quality is Excellent. This will be a very useful tool for your Video-Ography. It is very user Friendly, very light weight to handle, really state of the art Technology built in. This will be the perfect camera to film your Walk on the Wildside movies. Camera Technology has improved so much over the years. No more, bulky SLR and DSLR cameras with huge telephoto lenses, as i remember when i used to do my Photography with my Dad. I really do like Photography and what can be created from a Photograph. It is when the Photographer captures that moment with a click. That is what matters for really Good quality Photographs. To Produce such Excellent video's Steve, you have this Great ability to see beyond the Horizon. You are a Fabulous Video-Ographer and Film Producer. Very, very Well Done Steve. 😃👍👍👍

He uses top equipment, but even with pretty modest stuff you can take good photos if :
1. You know how to use it properly.
2. Have a good eye for composition.
3. Patience ( especially lightning shots ).

I’m a newbie to videoing, just using my phone. I’ve bought the new dji and was on Blackpool sea front trying it out. It’s a treat, especially for one so small. It isn’t water proof but hey ho.

Nice unboxing vlog Stephen. I’ve often been tempted to but the Dj Osmo cameras although at the minute I film with my Apple iPhone 11 my TikTok and UA-cam channel. Camera has some remarkable features especially that magnetic microphone which is what you need when your filming outdoors. I may invest in one very soon.
I like how big the screen is compared to the other cameras. That would be the reason I'd buy this camera also stability.
How are the video's/photo"s transferred for editing if you don't have a laptop/pc?
Yessss, a new walkabout town video with your new camera! Hopefully at night where you can capture the sharpness/colour of the illuminations with your new camera.
You can't edit videos without a laptop. The simplest way is to just drag clips off the card & upload wherever.
Great vid , hats off to you using the older models to make you video's how the heck were you able to do such great shots with such a tiny screen i wouldnt have been able to see anything really enjoyed the tech vid and would like to see some on simple editing and software thanks
That's so cool Steve, I totally love anything like this, gadgets, gizmos, tech. I am extremely impressed with the newest camera's view of your main camera in your studio. Vibrant and much more detail in the shot, this will be very handy when doing late evening night shot vlogs in Blackpool. Please, please do some more vlogs like this, and I also reckon how you edit a vlog would be cool too, show your viewers the time and dedication you put in to editing and uploading to your channel please. Could have done with raising the lighting to minimise reflections in my glasses, but hopefully I'll improve for the next one!
Glasses are always a lighting problem to a professional but I think most viewers don’t even notice. 😎

At the moment we use a mobile phone on a selfie stick which is why our videos do look shakey sometimes for the editing me and Maxine use PowerDirector which has stabliza we was given a large gimbal by DLC, A gimbal is exactly what is needed when we're vlogging in Leigh I'm having to tobe sneaky when going round Spinnggate shopping mall and market
But Wigan Market don't allow it
We've come to Blackpool many times filming you'll probably seen those videos there are times we seen ourselves on some else's videos we see ourselves in your Christmas By The Sea we would by the churros stall

Hi Stephen, I recently got one myself a few weeks ago. Really impressed with the quality and the new screen is a great improvement. It does need a high end micro sd card for the 4K recording. Incidentally its first outing was when I was away for a midweek break in Blackpool when Storm Ciarán hit. Unfortunately my SD cards weren’t fast enough so could only capture in 1080 during the trip😢. Looking forward to seeing what you produce with it. Keep up the good work. Ps I also picked up a couple of your calendars from Chris’s Burgers, another cracking selection of shots 👍.

Great camera steve, I have just recently bought one and also a set of nd filters, not took it out yet with the filters, waiting for a nice clear day, I took it out the other day around Blackpool and it seems awesome tbh, especially with d log, get yourself a table 😂

I am wondering whether the 1 inch sensor makes much of a difference in low light. Can't wait to see some footage at night - you could film with the original Pocket as well and show any difference ? That would be interesting to see.

The advantage of such a small camera is that you can look unobtrusive while filming street scenes in the SAME way as famous French photographer - Henri Cartier Bresson!!!
Does it do 8K?? I use a dji gimble and a mobile phone for my videos.
It can do 4k up to 120fps.
Great stuff, though at £600+ it should be.

Handheld, but I can use on a mount in a car.
I don’t think it will last very long,especially as you have gone commando,diving over concrete benches etc.
The gimbal only works for the camera,not for the person attached to it.

Yes.
Its not widely used, because the gimbal system is known to go insane from time to time, and start juddering and jerking all over. Seen a number of live videos where the gimbal went insane (not yours obviously), and the video became unwatchable.
