Before we enter the boatyard, we must do a 240 nautical mile round trip down to Langkawi and back to refresh our Thailand visas. The tax free island also offers the opportunity to collect some packages and buy up on cheaper boat bits ready to enter the boatyard on our return to Thailand.
We have a solid couple weeks in the boatyard coming up and to get our jobs done and Nandji 2 ready to sail across the ocean, it is key to be organised to make this time efficient and less stressful!

We used TFA 30 with some ivermectin mixed in zero growth after more than 12 months crushing in the Philippines.

The Indian Ocean crossing will be excellent! I think you may feel tired a lot of the time, however with that big boat and easy sail handling it will be so much fun and a great adventure. The anti foul paint will do the job, just make it stick really good. Cheers!

Chugoku is a Japanese brand, never put it on a yacht, but it worked well on VLCCs , although we used a couple of truck loads.
Great place to scrap the hull try doing that in Scotland 20 minutes up need hot shower. Then you have still 75% of the hull to do. That is mid summer.
We absolutely loved the hiking backpack until child got too heavy. Luckily he was happy to do 4-5km walks by the. Teaching them to love the outdoors is amazing - it’s our way of doing family time.

Thinking about the loss of fishing lures wonder if after each catch or hookup if you retye the leader to the terminal tackle. I found that help to keep from loss of the CD 18 Red head lures when I used them trolling and catching large Mahi or Whooho deepsea fishing off the coast of Florida for most of my life. changing line and stripping some off the reel after several use made for more fish landed than one loss. hope attention to that step helps catch more fish

I would be interested in hearing about your thoughts on safety and security as a family living on a boat and traveling through different countries. What, if anything do you have in place on the boat. Have you ever had close calls or experiences that made you nervous? I know these countries are safe and that you are highly educated and alert when deciding where to go. Piracy is still a thing in places all over the world, just wondering how you manage this possibility.

The best back pack I had (and I tried them ALL) was the ERGO baby SPORT. It was a soft one and hence shaped the toddler closer to the body making the center of gravity better. It had a sunshade too.
I rode the bike with young one strapped to back whilst older son sat in the basket on back of bike. They’d both crash out with the rhythm of cycling!!
And use the shade to stop young ones head frm lolling around.
And big bro wld rest his head on my lower back/butt as he slept.
