I want to thank you for creating content that helped me make it through 4 yrs of college and working and 1yr afterwards studying project management and studying the material needed to pass the state exam for the residential pool contractor license. After waiting almost 2 months from when I passed the second exam ( which was 6 hours long) I was just approved for the license. I don't have much of a social life ( like most anime watchers, lol) so being to watch a UA-cam channel that covered a good amount of my favorite animes in an analytical way, helped me get through those years. I hope to continue watching your videos because now I'll have a different kind of stress to deal with. 😅

I had already spoiled myself but its crazy he moved on from the B-Rank Healer girl and netted the baddest girl in the whole series. I guess it makes sense. She likes him weak and meek. But if I were Sung and looked like that and was that strong I'd want the strongest and most attractive person
@@Monty2289 Keeping in mind the monstrocities he fights in the future, the B-rank healer would only hold him down. She was traumatized but couldn't overcome it and choose to leave it behind. Whether that was the right choice isn't the issue, it is the fact that despite being a B rank she couldn't bear what was essentially field day gone wrong for hunters. And sung's life is field day getting fucked up every day. They aren't compatible.
It’s weird to say but I think the best part of solo leveling for me is honestly the side stories at the end. A true tribute to the creator in a way that both ended the series nicely and still left us wanting more.
It honestly left me wanting more. I wish his relationship with cha and school was explored more tho

Trust me my man. This show is absolutly worth it and as a person who has read all of it. I can tell you right now without any spoilers that Out main man sung Jin Woo will be strong enough to beat Hajime, Naofumi and Ainz Oal Gown at the same time

I’m a dad in his early 40s that watches this with my 10 year old son. There are other shows I watch with him but I find solo leveling the most interesting. The mix of a modern world and swords and sorcery is just really cool. Any other shows sorta like this?

I love that all of his powers that he gets which seemingly have nothing to do with his assassin style build are because the system is just raising him to become the shadow monarch. He gets rulers authority which might seem out of left field until it's revealed that all of the rulers have that power and so all of the national level hunters who are given rulers powers also have it. The system is raising Jinwoo like a cow being fattened to slaughter. If Jinwoo doesn't voluntarily choose those abilities the system just finds a reason to give him them anyways because he needs to acquire them to become the shadow monarchs vessel.

He has actually become so much stronger in Solo Leveling Ragnarok it's insane. The point he's at now, he makes the Absolute Being look like a child. Even his most basic shadows are now at the level of National Level Hunters. I won't say much else, so i dont spoil SLR, but just know that he is easily a multiversal level being
I won't watch it, because I am technically (?) anime only. But I will help boost the algorithm stuff by commenting.
Oh and to explain how I'm "technically" anime only, I only read the manhwa (I almost exclusively read manga, so I apologize if I used the incorrect term) chapters after watching the newest episode and don't progress further than what that episode has covered. I also follow along with your excellent videos explaining the differences between the various media.
Ditto^. Everyone kept praising the manhwa some even saying its better than anime under every episode so I started reading it after every episode as well. I do think it is amazing and there are a few scenes I think mahwa might have better dialog/scene but overall I still believe anime feels far superior. The voice actors in general for good anime are GOATed with their performance and effort that they put behind every character, the sound tracks make good scenes INSANE and animations fill in what you could only imagine which when done correctly makes people fall in love with the anime.
I can't wait for next week episode, it would quite funny

I wonder how much the anime will change by the end of it. The show is trying to balance story/action/pacing.
I feel the pacing is excellent, they do not spend to long, or to little on one point.
Action is even better then the source material.
In order to pump up the action scenes, they lowered the story quality, which saddens me, but that probably is just me.
I do wonder, when the second double dungeon battle happens, how he will win, because in the source material, my takeaway was that, because he kept trying to game the system and was much smarter about planning ahead from the beginning, it was believable that he at the end, he could outsmart the creator of the system. We shall see.
The show so far is a 8/10 for me.

im running a solo leveling dnd adventure for 3 friends, as a 'side experiment' if more than just jinwoo survived the temple (they're currently in the temple). stuck debating on whether they should each be matching levels with jinwoos growth or should be a group sum or how to collectively get them to keep the leveling a secret early on, cuz one friend likes to do whatever tf they want when given the opportunity
