      Datgai Yong there is plenty of seafood eaten there as well. As for the raw vs cooked, that's just regional preference. Also British cuisine is highly influenced by other parts of Europe and places they've colonized or traveled through which is shown by their love and use of spices and meat dishes

    Being born and raised in the west in often find it fascinating eating habits of our eastern neighbors. My girlfriend is from Vietnam, as a result I've been eating Asian food that I would've never thought I'd enjoy. I never thought I'd enjoy seaweed as much as I do. Honestly, it made me realize how much healthier Asian food appears to be. Although I love big fat burgers and authentic Latin American food, I can't help but to also crave Asian foods I can't even pronounce properly.

    Most Japanese restaurants are very clean and sanitary. Its rare to see handling of food without gloved hands, especially if its consumed raw! I would expect more for $100!

    • @kmbrlyj7051
      @kmbrlyj7051 3 роки тому +1

      Before the pandemic, I wouldn’t say that most Japanese restaurants use gloves. I’ll admit their hand washing technique even before Covid goes way beyond what you’d see in other countries, though.

    • @kyleorigliosso2276
      @kyleorigliosso2276 3 роки тому

      Rigor and discipline with hand washing is much better than gloves any day. Gloves breed complacency, often being worn for multiple tasks, which is much riskier than often washed bare hands.

    • @johnny_eth

    When I was in college as a starving student,I once tasted fresh scallops from a sushi chef. He served it with a bit of lemon. I was shocked. It was like candy from the sea and melted in my mouth. It was the only time in my life I ever had fresh seafood like that.
