Aw thank you. I am very lucky - we found each other later in life and it hasn't been easy with both having children and trying to blend our families as best as we could but it so far has been successful and we are happy. Have a great 2024 and happy stitching 🧵🪡

Thanks Lindsay - I was pretty determined by the end to get them down! I enjoyed the Supernatural but I'm not sure I would chose it now as my style has changed as well as stitching on smaller count fabric - it was evocative of it's time though and what was going on in my life at the time so a good memory. I'm stitching Tis the Season at the moment (photo somewhere on IG). I've decided to modify the wording to either just "Tis the Season" and then fill in with snowflakes for a border, or leave the writing off altogether and fill it all in with snowflakes like Helen D showed in her flosstube where she showed her holiday pieces. I'm a bit too old for 50 birthday starts (giggle) and to actually start the REAL number of years, I think I'd be just a BIT overwhelmed!!! I'm trying do more earlier in the year too so I have time at the end of the year to get some finishes in. There are no rules though so no pressure and I can change my mind at any time. Thanks Lindsay - I was pretty determined by the end to get them down! I enjoyed the Supernatural but I'm not sure I would chose it now as my style has changed as well as stitching on smaller count fabric - it was evocative of it's time though and what was going on in my life at the time so a good memory. Stitched quite a lot on a nice holiday too! See you soon x

I bet it was exhausting! Prepping for 4-5 new starts each month is enough but getting 12 ready for one day - you brave lady! As long as we enjoy these little challenges we set ourselves though there is no reason not to give them a try and have fun doing so! Happy New Year and happy stitching! Xx

I'm stitching Tis the Season at the moment (photo somewhere on IG). I've decided to modify the wording to either just "Tis the Season" and then fill in with snowflakes for a border, or leave the writing off altogether and fill it all in with snowflakes like Helen D showed in her flosstube where she showed her holiday pieces. I'm a bit too old for 50 birthday starts (giggle) and to actually start the REAL number of years, I think I'd be just a BIT overwhelmed!!! I dont think your crazy@@flossysewsandgrows having myself started 13 new starts in October for Halloween and then 12 (just) for December, admittedly they were mainly smalls, but its still half way to 50 in 2 months! lol Now I have to try and get some finished! Thank you Heidi. No real schedule but trying to start on other people's birthdays, especially friends who are 50 this year! I'm trying do more earlier in the year too so I have time at the end of the year to get some finishes in. There are no rules though so no pressure and I can change my mind at any time. Needs to always be fun and not a chore. I am going to pick up Moonshine Cabin soon too - I'll be thinking of you now when I stitch it 😆. Happy Stitching 🪡🧵
