Thank you Sally. Loved catching up with you tonight. Lots of great starts & good work on your wips. I really enjoyed stitching the pin cushion at the beginning of January. I've only just got back stitching this part day or two. I finally decided on a 30 day rotation for three focus projects so I'll see how that works for me. I'm also knitting, what will forever be known as The Subtitle Blanket, as it gets worked on while we watch European crime dramas. Learnt stitching & subtitles don't mix well 😂😂😂 Enjoy your stitching over the next few weeks. Take care, best wishes from 🇮🇪
Thank you! That rotation sounds good - and if it doesn't work you can amend it! It has to be enjoyable at the end of the day. Stitching and subtitles do not go well together do they lol. Sometimes wished I could knit but I don't think I need another hobby! Happy Stitching dear friend - love from 🏴

Thank you Sue! It's hard not to wish your life away but I can't wait for February either 😂 It is such fun so far and I'm not feeling bogged down by lots of wips. I think keep lots of smalls in and keep working on my wips and I'll get some finishes too!

Hahahaha - lots of smalls in there so shouldn't get too bogged down with too many wips! The Barbara Ana is gorgeous isn't it - I do wish the war would end and we could all have access to Nitka again as they do some beautiful kits. Here hoping and praying for peace. Happy Stitching 🪡🧵

I hadn’t announced that I had finished but it’s a finish for now as I want to personalise it before I fully finish it. Etsy version just has the boarder pattern and no words in the middle. I’m also busy saving my ORTs. Loving all the new starts. Thanks for the shout out. Nat

It’s so lovely to see our year getting off to such a great start Sally! It is definitely going to be a moveable feast of,plans each month as new things cross our paths but I think our flexibility will allow us to keep enjoying it without guilt for bumping a project here or there. I love your Go Tell It on The Mountain start and hope it’s one you’ll be able to finish by next Christmas.
So far so good - I'm enjoying it and not feeling overwhelmed. Let's see how I feel in 4 months or so when I have 20 odd WIP's lol. I think Go Tell It On The Mountain won't take long as it's not actually that big! Here's for some finishes too 🤞 Happy Stitching my dear friend x

It's so fun to watch all your starts! I'm really tempted to start all the things as well. I have a big birthday too this year (It's not 50 but one with a 0 in it). My WIPGO boards include 35 starts anyway...we'll see. I have Coffee and Eggs all kitted up. I might start that one with you.
Go for it Lisa! They either sit in a pile waiting for you to start them or they sit with some stitches in them and, for me certainly, I'm more likely to pick something up once it's started! Yes please do join in with Coffee and Eggs. I haven't got a firm start date yet so let's chat! Xx

Sally I’m not brave enough to stitch 50 starts this year but I’m 50 and will fully encourage you as you work through your starts. I’m aiming for 5 starts for each decade instead 😂
Sounds like a much more sensible idea that you have! I do stitch lots of smalls though so I think it should be manageable. Maybe I'll be completely grey by the time I actually do turn 50 and regret it.....🤣🤣🤣🤣

Would it be possible to outline the script for Go Tell It On The Mountain in a contrasting colour floss?
Absolutely. I am thinking maybe the chocolatey brown on the side of the house? Or green or maybe be bold and use the red.....ooohhhh decisions 🤔🤣🤣
