Love your starting 50 ... I'm doing my best to start 60....I turned 60 last year😊. So far I've got over 40😊. I'm feeling quite smug! The difference for me with starting them is it's easier to pick them up at put stitches in. Yesterday I started Barbara Ana 'dancer' ...that's how I found you❤. You are delightful! I'm in Canada ❤❤❤

I have ended 2023 on 22 WIPs so will aim for another 28 starts before Jan 13th 2025 to take me to my 50 - I love what you said about there being no difference at all between having WIPs kitted up not started or started and therefore why not just start them 😊💯🙌🏼 After that…..roll on all the finishes 😂 but no pressure obvs 🫶🏼👌🏼💞 Emma x

I stitch Sulky on 36ct all the time your might have been a tighter weave. I have done two of Lisa patterns now they are beautiful patterns. I'm now joining in on two of the designs for the January starts. Beautiful finishes and wips. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Good luck with your 50 new starts! I was 50 this year and my goals were to complete 2 Mirabilias - which I did! Whereabouts in Essex did you live? We’re just in south Essex - but if people on holiday ask where we’re from - we always say “just east of London”!!!!
Oh well done Jenny! That is fantastic - they are huge so no mean feat! I lived in Woodford Green but closer to Highams Park so had an Essex postcode but lived in a London Borough. Loved it there as right on the Edge of Epping Forest but a 25 minute train ride into the City. Miss it but happy back at home in Wales x
@@flossysewsandgrows my husband works in Epping - bit of a drive from us as we’re nearer to lakeside shopping centre. I laughed with Elaine about why she would want to leave sunny Essex for Wales - when I’m always on Rightmove looking at houses in Pembrokeshire!! Xx
