Just a handful of extra tips! If you're a sausage connoisseur (I dare you to add that to you LinkedIn profile), Superoni's got your back! I. J. Nobody can become financially successful overnight. They put in background work but we tend to see the finished part. I was able to increase my portfolio by $289k in months. You have to seek for help in the right places.
This is the problem! Most times people with little or no knowledge of the stock market try investing by themselves. It once happened to me, then I learned my lesson and contacted a US-based finance consultant by name ''Jenny Pamogas Canaya '' and everything changed. Loved the video as always. Last time I was in Edinburgh I walked along the river walk from Dean village to Stockbridge. I passed St Bernard's well and eventually reached St. Bernard's Bridge. First thing I said when I saw the place was 'this would be great for a photo shoot.'
I swear, every time you show pics around Edinburgh, or in this case, Stockbridge, and have that piano music in the background, l get all emotional, missing that area so much! Thanks for another perfect video! Next time I'm there, Stockbridge, Dean Village, and Fife are all on my list to visit. Never seen any of those in person, in the 22 years I've been visiting. 👍😁😁😁👍
There's something special about having the opportunity to experience it for the first time, excited to hear what you think of these amazing areas once you make it there! .)
Just got back from Edigburgh and I followed this guide, loved Stockbridge so much! Soderberg was incredible and the book stores! Would go back for this area. Way more fun than Royal Mile
We're planning a visit to Edinburgh next May and will definitely visit Stockbridge as we also love supporting charity shops. Your videos are extremely helpful in trip planning and have a great level of important detail for tourists who want to travel well. Please keep them coming!
Thank you! So glad to hear you find these videos helpful .) I'd say that the charity shops in the area can be surprisingly affordable, or more like "better deals" - I guess it's because the locals are quite affluent so they donate nicer things than in the studenty areas 😅
That intro was epic. Simon’s got that eyebrow thing down. Plus, rooftops. Stockbridge looks really nice and worth a visit, haven’t been there yet. Quite the assortment of shops.
I attended Flora Stevenson's 30 years ago and then onto Broughton High School. I grew up in Stockbridge and absolutely loved every minute. It's the most beautiful, relaxed and most vibrant place I've ever been. So many, many memories. Thank you for this video!
It was really fun to see a part of Edinburgh that I have yet to visit. i also think that the comedy skits that you have in the beginning is such a fun little detail!
I stumbled into Stockbridge following the Water of Leith walkway. I had a terrific lunch at Earl's Burgers Raeburn Place. You're right about the scenery along the Water of Leith.
As a former Stockbridge resident, I give my stamp of approval for the way you presented this charming neighborhood and highlighting some of the best places to visit :) My favorite thing about this place is that you can keep re-visiting it and do something else each time. It's a perfect spot to have a walk with a friend and decide what you want to do - grab a coffee and something sweet, go book shopping (or watching), do a charity shops tour, grab a brunch/lunch/dinner, have a glass of red with cheese nibbles and do people watching, head to a speakeasy or one of the pubs, stroll in one of the parks (I always considered botanics and Inverleith park as Stockbridge adjacent) or just through the neighborhood. It never really dawned on me before, but being from the so-called continental Europe myself, Stockbridge has a bit of that flair which is maybe why I always felt very comfortable here and love coming back. Another plus to mention is how central and close Stockbridge is to city centre and other boroughs. Edinburgh is extremely walkable city, but this area really gets you both, the village feel and central location. The downside some folk may note are bus routes (I was bus 36-dependent for a while) - not much of a time difference between walking and taking a bus sometimes.
Stockbridge similarly to Bruntsfield is this centre-adjacent little gem, isn't it! For me it's a really pleasant 20 minute walk from Haymarket, but I think for someone who might not be as able bodied, the connection between certain parts of town can be a bit frustrating ./ I'm glad the trams have revived the connection between West End and Leith at least!
I'm going back to Edinburgh next week and I had your video in the back of my mind ! I'll plan an exploration of Stockbridge, as I've never spent to much time in the neighborhood. Thank you for all the amazing tips !
