Hello, friends! If you enjoyed the video and wanted to support my channel, I've just started a "Buy me a Coffee" (in my case it would be tea) page which I'll link here: buymeacoffee.com/shawnaexplores but please don't feel any pressure to, the fact you're here and watching already means so much to me 🥰
Lovely to find your channel today from Turkey where we don't have charity shops - usually visit my family in Glasgow once a year and I am in the thrift stores every day. Glasgow has a long stretch of shops along Dumbaron Road from Scotstoun to Partick and then Byres Road through Hillhead and then Great Western Road can't do it all in a day!
Stockbridge looks a lovely place and what a lot of charity shops .Scottish charity shops always look to have so much more interesting bric a brac. In London the selection is usually small and poor. Yes charity shops are getting very expensive! Love your vlogs.
So many charity shops!! I'd forgotten just how many until I was filming them 😆 That's such a shame about the London charity shops. And thank you so much, I really appreciate it 🥰
That was such a delightful video Shawna! I love your videos when they’re an In The Life Of 🙌 Checking out the charity shops was so peaceful and enjoyable. Thanks for sharing, and hope you’re doing well!
I caught the train from Aberdeen to Edinburgh just to do a trawl of the charity shops. I was looking for a suitable occasion dress before being forced to buy a new one. I hopped on and off buses and covered quite an area and visited 29. My favourites are all the Lothian Road ones, up Bruntsfield, Shandwick Place, and the ones all the way down Nicolson Street and beyond. Depending on the area they are situated, the prices do vary. Charity shops are categorised as affluent or non affluent and priced accordingly.
Wow what an awesome charity shop video! Love that showed different kinds of charity shops available out there. You are so underrated! You deserve more subs! 😊💜
Yes, I feel so blessed that we have so many! I would love to visit the US one day and visit their thrift stores as they look amazing too 😊 The blue and white tea set was lovely!!
I think that had much to do with the lapse created by Covid. If find the same with shops like TK Maxx. Hopefully the next 12-24 months will see the cycle of buy and get rid of pick up again. The great thing with Stockbridge is that there are so many shops within such a short stretch. And there is so much else on either side of the bridge.
Enjoyed your video but like another person said, " I also don't care for your music." Also, a bit too distracting and overwhelming to watch the video. I keep the volume on so I can hear you speak. Rather just be able to listen to you speak and no music as well. I love music actually but not this piece you are playing.
I agree 100 % with you about the music she has playing. Don't care for it at all and very distracting. Rather have no music then the one being played. Or rather just hear the lady speaking on her video. I do like music but not this one. Feel like I am in some smoky jazz club somewhere. Too irritating. I keep the volume on so I can hear her speak as she has a nice speaking voice.

Your videos are always a joy, Shawna! A lovely glimpse into charity shops in the area 😊
That’s so kind of you, Jem! Hope you’re having a lovely weekend 🥰

Thanks so much for the info! I must check out Glasgow’s charity shops at some point 😍

Thanks for popping in for a visit! 👋
My pleasure! I always enjoy visiting 🥰
Hi, I was wondering how plus-size friendly thrift shopping is in the city! Would love it if you can let me know if you have some idea!
ahhhh I got my wedding dress from that very same British Red Cross shop back in April! Lovely ladies working in there that day
They have so many beautiful dresses!! Such a good location for wedding dress shopping 😍

Sounds like a wonderful day out and I'm soo impressed you managed to visit 29!! 😍
I live in north east England, love going round the Stockbridge chazzas when we visit Edinburgh
Such a lovely place for a bit of charity shopping and a wander 🥰

You are so underrated! You deserve more subs! 😊💜
That’s SO kind of you, thank you 🥹🩷
Great video. Dunblane has a few good charity shops.
Thanks for watching!! I’d love to visit Dunblane one day 😍
Love Stockbridge love that Shelter charity shop got a great bookshop inside and the Oxfam music store is excellent love the channel Shawna!
Yes!! The Shelter charity shop is one of my favourites in Edinburgh 😍and thank you so much!
I love your variety of charity shops in the UK. I’d probably buy that blue and white yes set 😊
Yes, I feel so blessed that we have so many! I would love to visit the US one day and visit their thrift stores as they look amazing too 😊 The blue and white tea set was lovely!!
Loved this 🥰 I’m from Scotland so nice to see a fellow Scot on YT, just subscribed ✨
Thanks so much for watching and subscribing 🥹🩷
Morningside is a great area to explore from Holy Corner all the way to the Hermitage at Blackford park
I agree, lots of great charity shops! Hoping to make a Morningside charity shop tour soon 😊
Interesting outing 😊
I really enjoyed myself 🥰
I've used to live in Stockbridge, the charity shops used to be amazing, unfortunately the quality of clothes has drastically declined...

Sadly I agree for the most part 🥺 so much fast fashion (which I’m glad is not being thrown away) and less quality pieces.
What's the background music ?
Linked in the description 😊
What high school did you go to? (Fellow Edinburger)
Hey Laura! I actually went to high school in Fife but would visit Edinburgh occasionally on weekends ☺️
@@ShawnaExplores ah I see!
Nice video, the music didn’t bother me at all,it adds to the video
Lovely channel! I am a new subscriber and I hope I will get at least 1 video from you every week❤
Maximum freaking freaky scàrey schtuff Ben 😂😊

That’s fair, I get your point 😊 I remember that was the style of music being played in one of the charity shops so I thought I’d go for that.
Aren't people fussy 😅
Lovely video apart from the music. I am a self confessed miserable old woman because most music really irritates me.
That’s fair, music is subjective 😊
I agree 100 % with you about the music she has playing. Don't care for it at all and very distracting. Rather have no music then the one being played.

too longwinded get to the point
You can skip to the charity shop tour portion of the video 😊
