Love your excitement about the new T598 and it makes up for the lack of content we see so far. And it's exactly like you said, the big creators will cover it when the product is there to test and review properly. Can't wait for your review when you got your hands on it next week. Very exciting times for GT7 players like me. I do have to wait until the 29th to get my hands on it though 😅
Well most won't until released and it's because we'll thrustamster in the enthusiast realm of subs 10nm wheelbases arent covered much. Most people watch things like boosted media and dan sazuka and others like that to see the enthusiast level items. Its good you will cover a bit of everything. Def good Its def surprising though to find out in the sin racing world it's not like pc games or other hobbies. Alot of users do end up getting the higher end items. Its a surprising hobby very surprising when it comes to what people spend and the nonestop wormhole. Lol Like the surveys we do on our Facebook pages for sim racing the results are shocking. Its like 70% high end items and 30% more budget friendly wheels and wheelbases. Blows my mind man.
I'm actually still very pleased with my tx. What I'm really looking forward to is the new pedal set. I'm still rocking the t3pa pro pedals. I wasn't impressed with tlcm enough to take the leap for load cell, but this new setup has me intrigued.
really hope after October 19, you can just walk into Best Buy and buy one in person and not have an out of stock issue like the ps5. Don't have the money now to preorder but should have the money 2 weeks after release date to purchase one. Really excited to switch from a Logitech g29!! So excited keep up the great work on these videos!
I think they should have made this with stalk accessories from the get go - Indicators and lights etc. I'll wait until next year for the seperate servo unit and see how that develops.
Ppl rnt talking about them because there isn’t much to talk about until they can do a hands on review of it. You have 3 20ish minute videos to prove this point
3 options for PS5 if you want to go DD, tbh i was really looking forward to this being on PS5 and fully into the TM eco system (TGT2/TCLM and the shifters/wheels etc) but i find myself not buying or placing a pre order for the 598, i do not like the look of it and the size is a concern, the bundle is a basic pedal set and the wheel rim looks pretty bad too....a tad disappointment and i think i will go Fanatec going forward. I would like to have seen the T818 for PS5 as a base package no bundle as a lot of us in the TM eco will have the rims already ...i think that would of been the better move but i look forward to seeing some reviews of the 598 like i say i think it just looks too toy like compared to the competition.
Could you recommend a decent/good wheel stand for the T598? I am going to buy a PS5 Pro and will pick up GT7. I game in my mancave on my recliner so don't have room for a rig. My TV stand has no room to mount a wheel base so I'm hoping there is a stand out there that I can play from my recliner. The scary thing for me right now is cost, I'm a senior on fixed income. PS5 pro $700. T598 $500. GT7 $70. Wheel stand ? Thanks for any advice you can help me with. Subbed!
I recommend either the Next Level Racing Wheel Stand 2.0 249.99 or Wheel Stand 2.0 149.99 Lite both are awesome and fully upgradable to full cockpits I am currently using the Wheel Stand 2.0
Great video, considering I have a t248 and I’m more of a casual gamer do you think that this would be better than the tgt 2. Btw do you know how many newton meters does the t248 have, thanks
The T248 is 2.5NM The T598 will essentially replace the T-GT II as the most viable option going forward it was designed to sell mass amounts of units easy upgrade with 100% compatibility with all Thrustmaster products. Yes the T598 will probably be the option for you as it has an upgrade path for Pedals and wheels
Pretty interested in reviews. Really think I want to go up to 8-11 Nm from my t300rs gt. Still thinking I will go with logitech or simagic with sigma cortex though. Not looking for a slight bump, I bought the t300 this year loved racing but instantly wanted more! Love the content. 👍
Will get this 598 was waiting for a price drop on the stupid Logitech pro price but they not bulge. So after G27 and forced buy of a G29 that I can play on Ps5. I give up my hydraulic brake pedal on the Logitech pedal set. Will switch to Thrustmaster hope the loadcell brake add on comes fast.
No one talking about it is because there has been literally no pre-purchase reviews on it. It is almost they are hiding something and that fixes will be required with add-on costs after launch. Hopefully I am wrong but it's a guy feeling.
Bought a t300rs about a year ago for ps5 cause of the sim drifting scene.. now I switched to PC and was thinking about the Moza R5 but Since thrustmaster releasing a DD wheel for same price as Moza R5 being able to switch from Ps5 to PC is making me hold off on buying Moza R5 and sticking to thrustmaster , Waiting for a review though and also waiting to see what price the clutch will end up being
I got the g923, t3000rs gt, and moza r5. I must say I'm not liking the R5 simply because you have to do so much to get it working in a game and not all games I want to play are supported. The thrustmaster has actually been my favorite so far because it's supported by all the games I want to play and it just works out of the box. I just pre ordered the new thrustmaster and I'm hoping it has the same support
@korn2040 Everyone I know was telling me to get the Moza R5 cause all the big youtubers using the Moza R5 or R9 because of 5nm strength, but I think I'm going to stick with thrustmaster t598 I just want to see a review first
I am planning on starting soon actually just getting used to it again been live streaming every night lately. I might be getting a T598 review unit today if that is the case I will be live streaming on it tonight or on my T-GT II

I've been looking into a DD entry for PS5, this seems to be the choice. Fanatec's pretty much not shipping in my region.
Yeah Thrustmaster has a great advantage right now with the T598
I'd send an inquiry to corsair now that they own fanatec. They promised better shipping and acquisition. Might as well pull their leg a little.
