    Lol what are the odds, my '93 Legend's thermostat just quit, and this video was posted today! Thanks for the info.

    Haven't had to change a thermostat in over 40 years; American cars used to fail quite often. They were a lot easier to replace too.. Good tutorial and troubleshooting. Stealership would have been about $175....just saved $250 on my daughter's Outback needing two brake rotors and new pads...Stealership 's price: $459 plus taxes; my way was $245...Happy New Year!!! Could have saved $120 labor if I had done it myself.

    Check the over flow tank, and add antifreeze if needed, what I want to know is where did the antifreeze go, do a check, start the car, go to the exhaust pipe, and smell for burnt antifreeze, to make sure the head gaskets aren't blown, if no smell of antifreeze then head gaskets are good, also check the oil, and smell it too for antifreeze, one is a internal headgasket blown, also if internally blown and the other is external, also another tell tale sign is the oil will look like a milk shake but don't drink it.... LMAO, but great job bro.

    I did the radiator on the 2000 Chrysler town and country the other day, went well, but a pain in the ass, once spring hits I'm doing a tune up on it, and the back 3 plugs are a pain..... I did all the hoses, and flush, and thermostat, and water pump, I figured fans and hoses, and rad are out why not do a full rad service.

    What about when your driving a coupe legend 3.2 and temp drops? Thermostat?? Or oil circulation issue? Thoughts??

    • @MowersNBlowers
      @MowersNBlowers  Рік тому

      What’s wrong with the temperature dropping? Is it cold weather where you are or warm? Florida or Minnesota? How long were you driving for? You don’t want overheating, temp dropping is good.

    Do NOT use anything BUT a dealership OEM thermostat!!! Bump this to the top! Anything else WILL cause issues, on the short and long term!!!

      the temp that it opens is really the only thing that matters

      @@NA-uv9hs yeah… no. When you’ve built and have worked on over 100 legends then you can say that. I’ve fixed multiple legends with a simple oem thermostat. All these weird issues they had gone with a 50 min swap and bleed

      @@GreekPowerPlease help! My temperature reads hot, yet nothing indicates the car is overheating at all. Not hot air through cabin, nor anything smoking. 94 legend sedan here

      @@coolguy8473 change your thermostat, change the 3 coolant temp sensors. Bleed the coolant with a lisle funnel. $150 and your fine
