    Markarth.
But, based on the fact that the city is built into dwarven structure, I'd argue that the entirety of that dwarven city should be fair game. No other city will afford the opportunity to abuse smithing to that degree. Calcelmo's museum, the prison, Nchuand-Zel. The potential is incomparable.

The only specific rule being that you can't enter into an area that is a separate cell to the open world. Meaning you cannot enter Markarth, Solitude, Riften, Whiterun, dungeons, mines, planes of Oblivion, go to Solstheim and entering buildings and NPC housing like in Riverwood for example

Bard's College was definitely a huge disappointment but I think the sadness I felt after breaking out of prison with the forsworn and realizing that was the extent of their questline topped it.

    • @HappyBeezerStudios
      @HappyBeezerStudios 3 місяці тому +3

And the bard's college could've been so much more if they simply added a way to perform as a bard.
All other guilds require the use of their set of skills to some extend. But the bards are just dungeon diving and selecting from a multiple choice question.
Being able to perform in taverns would be a huge thing. Suddenly the instruments aren't just junk items and you'd have a way to make money. Performing more often could improve the bardic skills, which will lead to higher tips and the bard's college could be a place where you'd learn new songs.

Fun fact, you can pickpocket all items by reverse pickpocketing a potion of paralysis into the mark's inventory. But you'll first have to unlock the Poisoned perk after you reach level 40 pickpocketing. You end up waising a lot of perk points though, so it's only worth it if you plan on eventually getting those points back.

"you can't pickpocket 3000 gold, even with a maxed-out pickpocket skill"
You can actually, you just have to paralyze them first. As I recall, pickpocketing is guaranteed to work on a paralyzed target. I don't know if you can get the spell time from Sybille, but if you can you would definitely need to grind alteration to a high level first.
The other option is to use alchemy to make a paralyze potion.
The best option is to get the poisoner perk so you can reverse-pickpocket a paralyze poison onto the npc. Then pickpocket the gold. This avoids getting a bounty.

    • @Joov

Just wanted to say I discovered your channel through the Whiterun video and as a long time skyrim player and buyer (I love you, Todd Howard), I absolutely love your stuff! I'm interested to see if you do Markarth since the entire Forswarn conspiracy quest line takes place within the city and that was always my favorite of the 5 walled holds.
    Happy to say I subscribed!!

I had a blast binging all the streams and then watching this video. Also while watching the streams I noticed that he couldn't craft bolts. It is mostly because he didn't start the dawnguard questline. But he wouldn't have been able to craft them anyway without at least steel smithing because I don't think there are iron bolts.

Found your channel through the Whiterun video.
You sound like Doug Doug with less of a bass to your voice.
I always go in to the Potema dungeon, since completing the quest involved with it at a high enough level gives you one of the best shields in the game.

This is a golden idea. You could do all 9 major holds and then afterwards do the smaller ones. You don't have to do the the Dennis system every time. That's major effort. Was entertaining in the 1st one though.

I use the Immersive Jewelry. One thing it changes is the value of silver plate ware. That’s goblets, ewers, etc. There is a good amount of this loot free for the picking in the closed section of the palace. Some are worth over 100 septims each and aren’t considered stolen.
