45 Minute Vinyasa Flow - Intermediate Series (Part 3 -26 May '22)

- Welcome to the intermediate series of classes. These practices are a little more challenging for your strength, flexibility and balance.
This is a 45 minute vinyasa flow. Part 3.
Flow through energising twists, standing and balancing poses and some light core work. Class features some longer holds in our standing postures - lunges, warriors, pyramid, humble flamingo and revolved triangle. Explore your balance in single leg mountain, eagle, side plank dips and optional side crow with a few rest pit stops along the way. Wind down with a series of forward folds before a brief shavasana.
Please take care to modify and do your own dance and shapes if you're supporting any injuries. Take care of you!
For practice, you may wish to have a block (for revolved Triangle) and also reserve some space around your mat as we spread and circle through our flow. Enjoy!

loved thinking of the pelvis as the "bookends of the spine," such a great and intuitive cue that will stick with me.

Those transitions confused me today,a lot,I gues it was just my fried brain after today...I don't comprehend why SideCrow isn't accessible to me, I thought it'd improve after 8AnglesPose is covered?! Puzzling, really. Nevertheless, it was sobering a bit for me today, for which I thank you dearly! 🙏🏻
Arhh I can understand the confusion. Lots of circling and a few new shapes. For side crow… Try, in this order, 1. squat on toes, knees together pointing forward. 2. Twist torso to left, hands to floor s/width apart, 3. Wedge your right elbow outside left knee. 4. Look forward. 5. Lean and rock your elbows over wrists for a right angle. 6. Launch right root first, then left. Tadar! Enjoy the process 🙏
