My obd2 scanner doesn’t give any codes it shows its searching but nothing . It just says no dtcs stored or freeze frame. What do I need to do to get it to show codes
If your car doesn't have a check engine light, ABS light , SRS light on then you wont have any codes whatsoever meaning your car is running fine. Freeze frame data is recorded the moment a fault is detected.
Yes you have to use OEM Enhanced if I correct as my chev had one sensor stolen from front frame. Once it was detected I had to reset it using that feature with its own menu instructions. Takes about 30 secs total in menu to follow instructions.
Erick Rivas you're gonna have to just drive it until they com back. The monitors need to get ready. The scan tool also has trip monitor ready procedures

Can you turn off the check engine light with this one. And bring the codes back on if they have been turned off ?? Please help!?.
from what i know of you cant bring them back you just have to wait until they come back on.
A Actron CP9690 can turn off check-engine lights after replacing parts.
I bought a innova scan tool. It didn't come with a cord to plug to pc. Do they sell it separately

Can you conect this via bluetooth to cellphone app ? I have one and it says its bluetooth but i cant get it to work with the app i have the 3160g
I have a 3140g and I can figure out how to get the Bluetooth also

actually if you go to the dealers, they have their own scanners that yes you can reset your oil life using there scanners. dealership scanner
