Probably Obituary are 5th most important death metal band of all time hailing from highlighted American school.The album Cause of Death was landmark in metallic industry.

Very cool. I live in Denver but wasn't able to make it. I saw Obituary back in 1997 at the Mason Jar when I lived in Phoenix, AZ. I met Rob Halford at that show.
I was so glad to be at this show. I saw them early on in 1993 in Denver at one of the clubs, I still have the longsleeve from that show. Just killer to see they are still at and better than ever. Excellent pairing with Amon Amarth. A great red rocks show not to be forgotten. Best hair in death metal? I second that, along with killer old school death metal, the real deal!
I like the fact that I have never seen this dude play anything else than a Strat for the last 25 years at least. No V's, no Les Paul, no bizarrely shaped guitars. Just a strat, distortion, saturation, volume. And let's do it. The way a garage band would do. And maybe that's exactly what we miss is nowadays bands.
Obituary is always killer live, but how can you film a show at Red Rocks and not show that awesome venue?!? Or the crowd?!? For all we know, that could be a show at some shithole in Nebraska.

@@metalrockconcerts4k Truth is I'm super jealous. I saw Metallica, Anthrax, and White Zombie (as well as some mellower bands) there when I lived in Colorado, but never thought death metal royalty would play there. Had to have bern killer?!? I'll check out some of your other footage! Thank you!

Can’t have a great long setlist when they are the second band up. I’m sure Frozen Soul had a super short set too. This show was clearly all about Cannibal Corspe and Amon Amarth.

Seen them also in 94 with Cannibal Corpse when I was 17 at Bogarts in Cincinnati. I still have the ticket stub. Still love this music at 47!!
