I am a huge Halloween 1978 fan. I actually did not mind Rob Zombie's take at all. It was a different approach and I genuinely enjoyed it.
I do like that it was different. A tighter script and better characters would have went a long way.
I loved it
The first one was pretty good with flaws but the second one...
Yeah even if you don't like this movie the one thing you ahve to give it credit for is that fact that it tried to be something different, and it was confident in that approach. It wasn't like the piece of shit Nightmare remake that was just generic, uninspired, CGI crap fest just trying to make a quick buck. Zombie had a vision, it was polarizing, but he went with it full force, and even if you don't like it, you gotta respect that I think.
Thank you! Finally someone that sees what I see people talk dog shit about this movie i love this movie be thankful that it was at least made.
He humanized him.. He took his creepiness and mystique away .. He wasn’t supposed to be “figured out” ..
Yep. Some villains don't need their backstory and past explained. How they became what they did doesn't matter. Just what they are now.
Agreed Judy!
It’s funny how different the two movie franchises are. If this were Friday the 13th and RZ were to take this exact route and feel it woulda been an overwhelming top 2 no doubt. At least imo
Michael was just misunderstood. If he’d only gotten a participation trophy, for best son in the world, he’d have been a normal boy.
He wasn’t tho .. a lot of you miss the fact he was already crazy
I like house of 1000 corpses and devil's rejects also
Love them both..DOCTOR SATAN
Omg, 1000 corpses jacked me up for days. I found it on cable one night (decade ago)... I never wanted it again. Creepy is an understatement
Meant to say never wanted to watch it again, cuz it was creepy.. That was his point tho, to make a disturbing film. He did a great job with that type of horror film.
And 31!
Exhiled Silence DOCTOR SATAN!!!
Though i myself love BOTH of Zombie's Halloween films,he didnt have much freedom in the first film. He had things he wanted, but he also had to conform to what the studio wanted. Which is why the 3rd act is so short. H2 was HIS film as he wanted to do it.
Agreed.
And h2 is terrible really cannot stand how his talentless wife is in all of them!
mark mcghee omg that’s pretty bad if H2 is what we get when he has full control 😬
@@austinm2293 And there's films you like I'm sure are either garbage or ppl see it as such.
mark mcghee yes I’m sure there definitely are. Don’t take my comment that seriously
Damn man those Anchorman scenes had me laughing my ass off. Never realized how perfectly those represent what it's like to watch one (often of many) of those screaming match scenes from a Rob Zombie movie. Honestly, that opening scene makes me laugh uncontrollably every time I see it.
Great revisited man, love the stream shirt too.
Also, seeing michaels first human kill was haunting and disturbing. The scene was shot so well. The victims acting was spot on. You felt that pain. It was crazy.
This movie also has one of the best cinematography on the whole franchise. This movie is a masterpiece compared to ressurection. I like it
Tyler mane Was a good micheal Just HUGE AF
Hell yeah!
I believe he played Sabertooth in the first X-men movie.
I thought that made him to big...just my opinion though.
Halloween (2007) was great! I loved it!
I LOVED rob zombies Halloween.. but part 2 :l I loved the first 20mins but didn't enjoy the rest of the movie.. who knows if I watch it again I might, great video Lee :)
I'm the opposite. I love part 2 immensely. Tighter script. Clearer vision. More emotion.
I totally agree.
That movie WAS terrible.
Agreed!
Great review Lee!
I love RZ's Halloween: however, only the theatrical version. I can't stand the director's cut. The director's cut does have some small extended scenes I do like, but that "escape scene" is terrible and I can't watch it. I have to disagree with you putting this movie next to "Resurrection". It's not that weak (in my opinion).
I still don't know if I would rank it above or below. It does have some great stuff that far outweighs Resurrection, but the script is THAT bad for me haha.
I hate the directors cut too. The prison break scene where he kills all the guards is much better than the orderly rape scene. The rape scene was unnecessary.
@@DrumdumsMovieReviews if kept theratical as the official version and kept the deleted scenes and get rid of the first beginning of the movie.
I love part 2 of Rob zombies reimagining and Brads performance as sheriff was great
Love the video. Hope to see ya spooky empire
i just rewatched 2009 h2 and i loved it even more then when i previously watched it! the shots of michael walking through the fields were great. the feel of michael being some unknown dark hobo like figure is something i thought was a creative and great idea.
This is my favourite in the franchise. I know alot of people get mad at me but I still ALWAYS revisit the originals anyways
Awesome glad you love it Ethan!
Same!
Well, as long as you always revisit the originals...I’ll allow it.
@@CorbCorbin the original Halloween is my 2nd least favorite Halloween movie. I do like the rest of the movies though, except for Rob zombies Halloween 2
I'm wondering what Rob thinks of the Halloween 2018 film? I keep looking for any info in interviews, but I guess his view on the Halloween franchise is in the past. It has been a decade since his vision of the Myers family hit the screen. I liked his approach to the film. Mainly given the fact he went for a full remake. He used a cast and added deeper character development.
Halloween 2018 got very lucky in having Jamie Lee back to play Laurie. The plot for 2018 is interesting. However I'm not sure how I feel about their attempt to pay homage to each film. Is the use of similar iconic kill scenes a rip off or actually a sign of respect? I have not seen 2018 yet, but I'm looking forward to it.
As for Rob's films, he pulled off his vision in a different way & I dig it. I thought his 2007 film actually was better after seeing a 2nd time.
That's actually an interesting topic of discussion. I would love to hear his thoughts.
Probaly loves it , he grew up on horror
That was a great analysis.. i love the movie , the performance, the cinematography, i like how the mask is like an on off switch... enjoyed it then do now.
Probably thinks its more of the same.
Honestly what should we care what Rob thinks, it was and is Carpenter's vision. Hopefully Rob enjoys the movie along with the rest of us :)
Tbh I liked it
I agree, I had a headache, my stomach hurt and I couldn't WAIT for Rob Zombies version to be over!!
This is actually my favorite Halloween movie
Mine too
Yay, October 8th is my birthday.
Can't wait for your vlog.
Lee! My man! Can't lie I been waiting to see you revisit this bro!
Bro great review of Rob zombie‘s Halloween headache and frustration and unneeded dialogue great job totally agree
we get a lot of inspiration from your videos, they are excellent to watch and good have good info too we are learning a lot from your style of presenting
Thank you and good luck!
Lee great Revisited review
I love the visual of child Michael Myers in the shape mask: he looks like a live-action caricature. 😂
Agreed. Mane was a great Myers.
I couldn't agree more. I thought at first you said the screamstream was titled Season of the Hits since all three channels views increased due to the Halloween coverage. Honestly the first video of yours I watched Halloween 4 Revisited and your on point reviews is what I subscribed for.
Thank you!
I just remember seeing this film with my cousins in the theater, I don't know why but I feel asleep somewhere near the climax.
cool videos, gonna binge on your halloween reviews and rankings, earned yourself a sub man. i liked rob zombie's h2 more for what it was, not trying to keep it up with the original like the 2007 one with the bob ghost sheet and all that, just his own thing.
Awesome thank you so much!!
I really liked it, rough and ready, enjoyed the ruthless version of myres and liked the backstory. Good effort imo.
I loved Mane as Myers too. He was a freakin' beast.
Really nice hearing your breakdown of this film. I have always enjoyed it but I agree with all of your points. I think Halloween 2 is a much stronger film. Great video brother. Keep up the great work
It's crazy that some of the Halloween revisited review from 2018 are going to be five years this year. I was 21 when I found your channel.
And I appreciate you Abram!
We think a lot alike. Your always spot on your Halloween reviews man! 👍🏼
Thank you!
I like those cool mask in your evil liar...damn that painting is sick Lee...
Thanks Paul!
Great video man!
Thank you Kevin!
I do agree with some of the points you made. I think the dialogue in this throughout, after the opening, isn’t too bad because movies like H6 and even Resurrection have that kind of dialogue. It’s more character building/understanding than story progressing. But that ending is SUPER poetic and I love that. It perfectly mirrors the scene where Deborah Myers shoots herself, with the shot and Angel/Laurie screaming like she did when she was a baby. Very good ending. Anyway, solid review, definitely agreed with some of those points.
I forgot to mention the Deborah Myers suicide. Beautifully done scene. And loved the ending.
Hard to believe it's been 3 years since this came out. Damn time goes fast the older you get lol
Agreed.
Love your reviews I agree 100% with you on this one
If only rob zombie would let someone else write the script. Could have been a masterpiece
Was in the mood for this film and thought I would check out your revisited. Anyways, what an eccentric movie. The first half of this film frustrates the hell out of me, however the second half I actually enjoy. Everything comes together. Michael is terrifying. I'm obviously not digging baby Michael, but Mr. Myers? Oh, the Deadman wreaks havoc on Haddonfield! I enjoyed revisiting you revisiting Zombies Halloween. Thank you. Now, I'm going to watch it 🎃 🗡
Enjoy the movie..and thanks for stopping by!
The halloween Movie's from Rob Zombie are fantastic! I love them so much!
You were way nicer than I would have been. I hated this movie. The stuff where he was talking in the asylum and still making goofy voices in the mask really sent me over the edge. I do agree with you, that Halloween 2 isn't nearly as bad. Some good stuff in that one. Anyway, awesome review man! Keep up the great work!
Best one of the entire series absolutely loved this movie.
Lee: Halloween revisited review are over we're done.
Halloween, Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends: We're done when I say we're done.
Hahahaha truth Abram!
@@DrumdumsMovieReviews hahaha
Yeah man I wanted to say if I grew up in that kind of life I'd be a serial killer too LOL
Rob Zombie needs to direct a movie that he had no involvement with writing the script.
Even Mike was “thinking that to much”
Where did you get the Myers mask that is to your left my right on the shelf that is bandaged up?
You published this video one day before my birthday last year
Awesome!
I really enjoyed it
Judith is played by young jenn-ay from Forrest Gump lol. Can’t unsee that after the boob shot lol!! Great revisited lee! U the man!!
Yep she sure is.
I’d really like to see Rob Zombie direct a script written by someone else, or maybe collaborate on a script with someone else. He knows how to make a cool looking film. He knows how to create tension. It’s the dialogue that is so terrible. It’s so bad it takes a lot away from the movie. Also, stuff like the rape in Smith’s Grove, or the EMS guy in the wrecked ambulance in the 2nd one. This type of thing takes me right out of the movie. I’ve always thought of Haddenfield as a nice, middle class community-very peaceful. Anyway....Great video! Thanks Lee👍🏻
It's really amazing to me that the actors that played as Michael Myers are really nice guys in real life.
This is the Halloween that I grew up with and I think the originals are way better! Great in-depth review!
Thank you Terry!
That t-shirt is awesome!
I love the Rob zombie Halloween flicks will defend all as long as they are the unrated cuts and quick note the workprint of this film is possibly my favorite version I still have if any workprint if anyone wants it
I wish we had a proper HD cut of the workprint. It might be my favorite too. Although I don't really like the ending that much.
Dude! SPOOKY EMPIRE just added a "HEARSE AND CREEPY CAR SHOW."
HALLOWEEN KILLS and HALLOWEEN ENDS: Hold Our beers
Lee Blumhouse announces ten freaking more HALLOWEEN movies so you have alot of work on your hands whenever that happens.
He wasn't really serious. He's still taking it one movie at a time.
Oh gosh, I still have that work print on a disc here that came from the days of lighter internet rules.
Yep...me too.
Nice that someone is honest about Zombies Halloweens. Theyre great movies and the most terrifying of all. Tyler mane of incredible as Michael. He really made me feel every emotion just with his eyes and no voice or face and it's the best mask. And halloween 2 was brutal with the violence but it's a great movie. I loved seeing Michael in slippers still over a foot taller than everyone else And that orange mask is damn scary. I think its nice seeing him chilling all those years making his masks
I saw this movie on TV and it had the director’s cut climax with the normal theatrical cut
I actually enjoyed Rob Zombie's take on Halloween. Halloween (2007) was actually the first Halloween movie I ever saw! It definitely got me into the Michael Myers universe! BTW, would love to see you review House of 1000 Corpses!
Yamilexh Cardenas I’ve been planning a review for that one for ages!
Dude! Spooky Empire just added a "HEARSE AND CREEPY CAR SHOW!"
There are kids like that in school that are like that. This ONE guy that told me... well... not kid stuff.. and I was shook!!!!!!!!
I don't know who is more vicious. George P Wilbur's Michael Myers or Tyler Mane's Michael Myers.
Tyler Mane for sure.
G P W
Tyler mane
Tyler mane idiot
They're both vicious and James Jude Cortney is way more violent and brutal and vicious.
Rob Zombie's Halloween, ( theatrical cut) and Halloween 2 ( Director's cut) are two of the most vastly underrated, misunderstood movies in horror, and I dare say revolutionary in terms of the slasher genre.
I can see the torches and pitch forks coming in the distance so let me hurry and break this shit down. Here we go.
First, I'm aware that Rob Zombie's exploitive, grind house aesthetic is not for everyone. Second, the original Halloween is a horror classic that revolutionized the genre and gave birth to the slasher subgenre. A remake of such an iconic film was never going to go over well with the fan base, however if you separate comparisons to the original, there is plenty to appreciate in Zombie's retelling. Comparing Rob Zombie's Halloween to Carpenter's Halloween is the equivalent of comparing Tim Burton's Batman to The Dark Knight. They are the same character, true, but radically different interpretations.
Zombie's Halloween does everything a successful remake should do. It takes the basic concept of the original, builds upon it, modernizes it, and takes it in new and fresh direction, while retaining iconic imagery, and scenes that give the audience a new, but familiar experience. It subverts the audience expectations which unfortunately seems to be the reason it is so hated. It's TO different from the original.
Zombie transends the tropes of the slasher genre by grounding his story firmly in reality, thus giving it an added layer of depth and making it socially relevant. His characters are fully developed, layered, and also deeply flawed. They are not morally black and white stereotypes designed solely to be cannon fodder for Michael Myers.
Myers himself is a fully developed character, complete with depth and emotion. No longer the shape of Carpenter's original, he is a monster created by abuse and neglect, a product of his environment and socioeconomic status. Myers is both villian and victim, a fringe character with sociopathic tendencies, shunned and ignored by society, therefore lacking the support system he desperately needs. This is a Michael Myers for the Columbine generation, a ticking time bomb waiting to explode, who possibly could have been saved had he been reached in time.
Scenes of Myers youth are filled with dysfunction, vulgarity, and bullying. These scenes are often criticized by the fan base, however they are meant to be disturbing, off putting, and bleak. They lend another layer of harsh reality to the film. Many real world serial, and spree killers endured similar upbringings and often time worse than what is depicted.
Many have argued that humanizing Myers demystified him and arguably made him less scary. One need look no further than the news to see how frightening this version of Myers really is. We live in a society where people are often abused, bullied, marginalized, and victimized and often go ignored. This detachment from society, devoid of any compassion or support, often leads to random acts of violence. Zombie captures this perfectly with Myers early crimes.
Fans of classic Universal horror will find several interesting parallels between Zombie's characterization of Myers and a certain other famous monster of film land. As an adult, Myers is a hulking giant of a man, childlike and sympathetic, but also capable of brutal violence. His mask, aged and rotting in this version, is covered in cracks which bare a striking resemblance to stiches and scars. It's worth noting that a scene featured in Halloween 2 is directly lifted, both dialogue and framing, from Ghost of Frankenstein.
Like the villian Michael Myers, the protagonist Sam Loomis also recieves a reality based modernization. No longer the Van Helsing like character, crusading against evil, he is now far more morally ambiguous. He seems to genuinely care for Michael, but like many involved with high profile murder cases, he isn't above exploiting him for fame and profit.
Sheriff Bracket is also given more to do in this series and plays an integal role in Laurie Strode and Michael Myers past. He has the best intentions but ultimately his decisions will come back to haunt and punish him throughout the course of both movies.
Perhaps the least developed of all the main characters is Laurie Strode. Zombie has admitted to finding her character boring and struggles to bring anything new to this version. This will change drastically in the sequel. Here Laurie is portrayed as an average teen, completely oblivious to her connection to the Myers family, as she was placed in foster care shortly after Michael's original crimes. She's no longer portrayed as the virginal, sexually repressed heroine as in the original, but more as an average teen who's world is about to unknowingly get turned upside down.
There are consequences for these characters. They are more than the cannon fodder shown in the majority of slasher films, and when someone is killed we care. This brings me to my next point. Violence.
Rob Zombies Halloween series is a study on the effects of violence and trauma. Society has become desensitized to violence in entertainment. The 80's were the golden age of special makeup effects. Films like Dawn of the Dead and Friday the 13th pushed the envelope of gore effects and made violence entertaining. Audiences began to anticipate violence and looked forward to seeing in what inventive way the next character would die. This became part of the fun of watching slasher movies.
There is nothing fun or entertaining about the violence in Rob Zombie's Halloween or it's sequel. It's brutal, disturbing, raw, realistic and completely random, just like violence in reality. It's off putting and shown in all it's graphic ugliness. This idea that violence and trauma only breeds more violence and trauma is the central theme of both films.
Laurie Strode didn't suffer the same abuse as her brother, however in confronting him she is left with no choice but to resort to violence to survive, ultimately living up to her namesake. She is baptized in blood and reborn a Myers. The cycle of violence and trauma continues.
The sequel pushes these themes even further. The film deals with the idea of predisposed mental illness and PTSD. The directors cut of Halloween 2 finds Laurie Strode suffering from PTSD after her first encounter with her brother two years prior. The trauma she endured seems to have awoken some deep seeded mental illness repressed in her psyche, the same her brother suffered. It's a facinating idea.
The characters have evolved naturally and realistically in the sequel, and each is dealing with the aftermath of their encounter with Myers. It's this continuity and attention to detail that sets these films apart from their slasher movie brethren. Sequels typically kill off any remnants of the original cast in the opening scene to make way for a new cast of characters for the villian to dismantle. Zombie follows his characters to the stories natural conclusion.
The Loomis character is a natural progression of the character introduced in the original. He has once again capitalized off Michael and his victims, writing a tell all book, and revealing the truth about Laurie's connection to the Myers family. He's sleazy and self-centered, however his actions have damaged his reputation. His peers view him a joke and he desperately fights for his credibility.
Sheriff Bracket is emotionally exhausted, trying to care for his agoraphobic daughter Annie, who narrowly survived an attack by Myers, and Laurie, whom he has taken in. It's a decision that will ultimately cost him everything he loves.
Myers motivation has changed in the sequel as well and we are given a window inside of his mind. Many have criticized the inclusion of Myers mother as a spectral hallucination who is often accompanied by a white horse, some even claiming that Zombie ripped off Friday the 13th by having Michael's mother be the reason he kills. This is an over simplification. Myers mother is NOT the reason he kills. At certain scenes throughout the movie Deborah Myers is accompanied by the child version of Myers, meaning both child and adult Myers not only share screen time with one another, but also with their deceased mother. Mother and child share dialogue thus giving us a unique window into Myers thought process WITHOUT actually having him speak.
Zombie subverted expectations in the remake by having Michael attempt to reconnect with his sister rather than kill her. The sequel has him come to the realization that he and his family have no place in this world and that they belong dead. ( Sound familiar Universal fans?) He wants to kill his sister and then himself so that they may be reunited with their dead mother. That is a radically different and unique concept among slasher films. All character's paths lead to their appropriate tragic conclusions making the film almost sequel proof.
In conclusion, the original Halloween is a masterpiece and set the bar incredibly high. None of it's sequels or imitators were able to rival it. Zombie didn't make a film to live up to a standard and wasn't intimidated by that bar. He used the template of the original to craft his own story and do something unique and thought provoking rather than a hack job, cash grab version of the original.( Looking at you Platinum Dunes) It's obvious he put attention and care into the characters as well as the overalls film. Did it pay off? Well, that's up to personal preference, but he definitely made a mark, otherwise we still wouldn't be discussing his film 11 years after it's release. I think it did. Hopefully after giving them a second look from a new perspective you will too.
I agree about the 2nd one for sure.
Jeez this must have taken an hour to write but you have really good points.
@@nike_swoosh9122 I believe if you have an opinion you should have evidence to support it. Lol. It started as a Facebook discussion/ debate I was having with some Halloween fans a week or so ago. I just adapted my views and consolidated it for this post. Thanks for reading. 🎃
@@kellyredfearn537 I totally agree with you, I think rob zombie's film is one of the better installments. Although it was a little too over the top with language. I really don't understand why people say it's the worst when there's such thing as Ressurection.
This is so long it's like a bible..
I very much hope the new one coming out in October will be good. Trailers look great, though am cautiously optimistic.
p.s. did your wife paint the Michael Myers behind you? I like that one too.
Ever notice in the re-cut ending when Michael pulls Laurie out of the car you can see the police from the original ending blurred out behind Loomis trying to reason with him? Really wish the second half was more original instead of a rehash of the 1978 original.
Haha never noticed that.
Still one of the Better remakes👍 That beat down in the beginning👌
Out of Halloween (2007 Remake), Friday the 13th (2009 Remake), and Nightmare on Elm Street (2010 Remake) what was the best of out the three??
I prefer Nightmare the best, but I have a decent time with the Friday one as well. But talk about shit characters.
The escape in the director's cut makes more sense. Why was he being moved at 27 years old?
I agree with you 100% wholeheartedly in your commentary.
HomewreckerHaHa Thank you! 👏
I actually love the remake still prefer the original tho
Same
I liked part 2 better as well, even though I’m not sure why I guess unlike how it ended like part 4 did and would be interesting to see a number 3 where Laurie is a new Myers.
I love both Rob Zombie Halloweens idc
Same
I enjoyed Rob Zombies Halloween I love the back story.
6:35 hey have you seen the new CorderyFX Halloween Kills video around the 21 minute mark? Probably a coincidence lol…
If I had to pick my all time favorite remake in Horror it would have to be between The Last House on the Left and The Hills Have Eyes. Still not as good as the original of course but I love how they still make them really creepy.
The best part is that Michael is a fuckin giant in this one. So much more intimidating to me
Yeah he was massive.
I've seen the directors cut a few times. Never the theatrical version. Never realised how different they are. I own a copy of both, gotta watch the theatrical version soon!
12:25 He actually talks in the original too but it was off screen (He probably stop talking when he was 8 or 10) and Dr. Loomis said that he choose to not to talk.
I've actually have never seen any of the Halloween movies even though I'm a huge horror fan, but I watched this one and absolutely loved it. Maybe it's because I'm not able to compare it to the older ones? Regardless, it and Devil Rejects are 2 of my favorite Zombie movies.
I like that part because Rob is really self aware about his videos pretty sure Rob said impressed the first 20 30 mins
In this Movie I always love the ending and makes me wish a bunch of Horror Movies would do, when she shot Michael Myers and screamed after always puts chills down my spine but love it cause it feels so real.
Agreed. The final act is easily the best part of this.
Yay first view lol love your videos bro
What made Halloween the original fascinating is Michael had a normal family he had no reason to become a killer. That made Myers a unknown threat which is scarier than just having a kid growing with abusive parents like most killers may have gone through. You did not know if he was just a crazy serial killer or supernatural monster.
The Workprint has this scene that I don't *think* the other two versions have. But it's an alternate to Mr. Strode's death. Instead of a jump scare death, Mr. Strode looks at the end of his sidewalk and sees Michael standing there staring at him, and it startles him.
He tries talking to Michael as Michael just walks up the sidewalk, and then Michael kills him. I thought that was one of the creepier scenes in this movie.
Oh that's right. And Bob's death is in the van.
Drumdums Yeah! I actually kind of by and large prefer the Workprint to either the Theatrical or Directors Cut, minus the rape scene in both this and the Directors Cut.
i respect both of robs remakes. not sure why everyone is so quick to hate on them. i think the movies had interesting plots especially the second one. i was really fascinated on how he chose to portray michael as some dark hooded figure. i think some great ideas and camera angles were incorporated into this film just could’ve been better execution.
I love these movies rob did.
I love the 2nd one for sure.
Both RZ Halloween's kick serious ass (especially H2), but to each his own. I love Zombies cinematography. Good review
I also think Rob Zombie is a good director. I loved the camera angles and lighting in this movie. He knows how to create an atmosphere. Even though I'm not a fan of this movie as a whole, I will give him credit.
The more I watch Rob Zombie Version of Halloween the more I like it.. Is not what I grew up. But I'm starting to notice the newer generation Is in love with it.
Tbh I go back and forth with it. I guess it just depends on my mood.
Tyler Mane was a good Michael he is just just tall. It kind of intimidates sometimes if I'm alone I imagine him chasing me with the mask on
Haha indeed. I wouldn't want him coming after me!
I actually really liked Zombie's first one.....The second, not so much....But in 2, the death of Annie and Brackett finding her, may be one of the best scenes I have seen in a long time.
I don't get it, what is "workprint"? I'm confussed, are there better scenes or what?
Shorter ending, and a few extra/alternate scenes.
Thank you very much! :)
I recently watched a fan edit of this movie, somebody made a 1978 version and cut out all the family bullshit it was incredible!
Dude i almost cried when Michael kills Daryl Sabara the actor from Spy Kids. 😂I think this film was kickass. Reinvented the franchise imo
I don’t like the fact that they made Michael a HUGE behemoth. Part of what made the original so scary was that it was a “normal” sized 21 year old kid. He wasn’t very muscular and wasn’t very tall. His evil gave him strength
How old was mikes sister suppose to be in the opening scene
17 I believe.
If anyone would like, there is a fan edit in UA-cam if this movie. It removes all of Myer's backstory and add music from other Halloween films. Mixed in with Tyler Bates score. Just look up Cole edits and give it a try. It's a really good fan edit.
There was an edit a few years ago called the "Scary as hell edition" that removed all of young Michael's dialogue.
