You don’t need the Sorcery Points exploit for Quicken. You can get the Band of Mystic Scoundrel for casting Command or Hold Person with the Bonus Action.

@@TheSpudKing I’ve been using that sorcery point “mechanic” for quite some time, did not realize the short rest thing as all the classes I’ve done that exploit on never got spellslots back on short rest, duly noted

It’s broken! Go 1 war cleric, 5 warlock (pact of the blade) and 6 swords bard. Max out Charisma. Use Strange Conduit Ring and Resonate stone.
I was wondering if I could combine this, as this is what I want to use druid/paladin together. But with sorcerer? Oh, this is gonna be good.

Да я как раз баловался с мечом (5 спор, 2 пал, 5 сорк) и качал мемчики из сопрано и Гая Ричи, и мне твой кинуло в предложку , и вот оно, меньше друида, паладина я сменил для vow enmity и вот оно :) мемчик с коровой подтырил, он збс! Отличный билдос

3:35 I don't think it uses your highest spellcasting ability. I'm pretty sure it just uses your last added class's ability. Try sorcerer and then druid
Hmm, you then take other classes. Does then the first roll change to match wisdom, or does it continue using the highest die? Maybe they're different mechanics
Shillelagh - highest spellcasting among all chosen classes. Flameblade - last unique class
I didn't realize you could do that with spell attack roll and saves. Its weird because I just assumed it didn't work since it didn't work with Shadowheart's Firebolt cantrip.
I have done a scorching ray build before using the same hat on sorcerer. That build just melts everything that isn't straight up immune to fire damage.
Yeah, shadowheart cantrip is Elfs, it's always INT

I'd make this druid a druegar. Why not add free enlage person and invis to the already broken damage, longstrider meand a dwarf moves as fast as a half wood elf without the buff - IMHO fast enough.
I can see this being OP if you have enough time to set up Shillelagh, flame blade and emnity - but that's three bonus actions. If you have to do them when the fight starts, then most fights are already over before you are finally there.
What would be the course of action for the game parts where the fights erupts out of a dialog (and thus any prep has already timed out, so no arcane acuity or flame blade)? Emnity and hold persons?
It's fine with just one hand + shield, shillelagh+ attack, or fireblade+ vow enmity on turn one, and unleash on second

Is there a difference between the flame blade from druid and flame blade from mephistopheles tiefling? Besides the level at which you get it and ofcourse the tradeoff between being locked into a race/class

Shillelagh isn't even really english, it's irish, so most native english speakers can't even say it right (including me).
so the main 3 points are the Magehat from the Ox the Paladin ability cast on yourself and the summoned Fireblade from Druid leads to 100% Hitchance with every spell right ???
100% disable hitspell is just hat actually. 99% for fire blaster will be with paladin vow enmity, Fireblade can be substituted by any fire damage on weapon if you want to mix, so gloves from damon or just dip or elemental weapon
Flame blade op from lvl 1. Flae Blade plus spores and coating im broken. I just found that out today.
Mephistopholes teifs also get flame blade as one of their race spells. Idk if that can be upcast so maybe not good for this build, but at least it wasn't Only put in game for druids. Maybe worth investigating if you even need the four druid lvls tho
Druid for making op torches
Nice one but why not go with spore druid for an extra 1d6 necrotic dmg on hit. And you get a use out of your wildshape charges
Low spore druid level will get extra 8hp and its hard to maintain in meele, while mountain unlocks mirror image and we're unhitable
Warlock can pact bind the flame base to get cha scaling
how you have 4-5th spellsots on multiclassing? How you cast hold person 14:05 and be able to attack with 1 action point?
Spellslots is stabdart, you will get them if following build. You can hold + attack in one turn by casting hold from bonus action using sorcery points, otherwise you hold and attack as bonus action witth offhand, i make some footage with mod, so I don't need to wait 2 hours of enemy turns when recording footage

This really only comes online at 7 or 8, beyond that, this build rules! follow the guide! its very specific.
will the game still use the most recent spell casting ability if you get the permanent flame blade from a hireling?
No, i explained why you dont want to do it. It will use str, so good if you just fighter
2 paladin 6 sword bard 4 druid, you reach 6lv spell slot with same mechanic + flourish + jack of all trades
- unlimited spell slots, - vow enmity
@@TheSpudKing bah unlimited spell slots trick is an exploit...Honnor mod without that kind of exploit and limited/restricted area rest would be really more challenging and interesting. That game is awesome for sure, super cheesy too...

Yeah, its for demo, you get flawed helldusk in act2 which is 0.5 avg dmg less
How you kill Rapahel or any fire resistence enemy with this build?
If they stand still or disabled you don't care. And there is coating that you can throw to change fire resistance into vulnerability, so its even easier to deal with Raphael ;)
Would this work with nature cleric and mephisto tiefling?
Technically, yes. But need to be careful with class picking order to properly scale blade, and no shillelagh
@@TheSpudKing Well, my idea was one level of cleric for shillelagh, then paladin and whatever; tiefling wiki says the blade always uses charisma mod, so that should be ok..? Thank you Spud.
I've been trying to work with the bug to get a flame blade permanently but it doesn't seem to work anymore sadly

No, str/dex determined by weapon type ( if its finesse, it will scale from highest, other weapons from str), so you're fine ☺️

Its just a theory but. Could you play as a warlock and use bond weapon in the flame blade to use it with your charisma moddify? Becouse if you can then you will not have to be aware of the 10 turns duration of the spell and it will still scaling with Cha.
Obiusly using the bug of mustio to obtain the flame blade.

I didn't find any either but the vendors at the druid grove have them
Sometimes they on mindflayer ship in thral inventory, then in boxes along the way, on bandits near ruins and in every trader inventory
You can guaranteed find them in the Blighted Village where you get infernal iron for Karlach. In the locked building with the goblins guarding on top.

You already have something good to do with your bonus action all the time. Instead of Quickened Spell, take Heightened Spell to give all enemies Disadvantage to save against your Hold and Command spells. Even without the acuity hat you can have a really high chance to Hold even bosses.
Why use high chance instead of 100%?
3:40 Not highest spellcast ablity. It will always will use charisma. It will use the latest multiclassed class spellcasting ability. If you want to use wisdom, you have to start as paladin and then multiclass to druid.

Are people using cheating mods to show builds or something? at 14:00 Spud used a Hold Person, didn't lose his action, and then attacked main hand and off hand and didn't lose action or bonus action?
I have also seen many times in other videos, people swinging main hand and off hand numerous times in the same turn, despite only having 1 bonus action . . .
Don't know about others, but yeah, i'm using mods to capture footage and showcase stuff in ~4x less time skiping enemy turns :)

Every build is broken with the freecast bug in sorcerer , i purposely choose not to use it even tho its really tempting and fun , it feels a bit too much like cheating
