    I am only at 5 min in the Video and GIRL. You missed your calling. WOW, You did not miss it, you found it! Motivational Coach!!!!! I have watched your UA-cam channel for many years. I do not watch every video. However, as soon as I found UA-cam you were one of the small group I followed. I do follow you on Instagram also. I am a 56-year-old Female. It is amazing some of the things we have in common. I was very fit and watched my weight like CRAZY for many years. For the last 4-6 years I have let things slip some. I have a wonderful family. Married to the same man for 38 yrs. 3 Grandchildren that spend a lot of time with me. Etc. LIFE. You hit the nail on the head so far this time 5+ min in so far. Thanks for making this.     I Love when you say, "If you're that age and look like that I can look like that, if you can have that flexibility I can the only thing that is holding me back is Effort'' I've never looked at it that way, I was always throwing myself in the dumpster after watching these vids. I am 49yrs here looking at you and feeling like your mum, but seriously I could really work on myself again. I can do Hard Things. Love it.

    In the last 2 years I gained a lot of weight due to extreme stress/ emotional eating and now I'm completely out of shape. I used to be this "pretty woman", receiving compliments and these days I'm invisible to people...However a week ago I changed my eating habits, I sleep more and this video motivates me to workout 3x a week, at least 15 minutes. I already feel better. Thank you so much!

    It’s so sad to say but this is so refreshing to hear nowadays. I’m on a fitness journey (with a lot to lose) and this is so motivating to watch rather than just “accepting” the way I am because I know it’s not good for me long term. My goal is definitely to be and look healthier. Thank you so much for the extra motivation 🥰

    I can not tell you how hard the comment “Food can either help you or hurt you!” Hit me. There has never been a more true statement. Thank you so much for also sharing what times are best to eat. I am now 20 pounds thinner than I was when I first saw you on Instagram dancing. You inspired me so much and still do. And now that I am on social media. And have woman tell me that I inspire them . I know that is also thanks to you. You made me want to share with other woman that they can look and feel better. If I can do it believe me they can too. I am sending you my sincerest thank you.     I’ve started doing calf raises, leg lifts & standing butt crunches while drying & styling my hair. It’s a good half hour. Also while in the shower. Multitask. 💗

    I do have a chronic illness and I STILL follow a regime similar to yours. It helps me to feel better, look great and get through my day with joy. Don't let illness get in the way of your goals. Fitness and watching what you eat are also the best defense against letting an illness take you over. There really are no excuses for letting it go!

    Nothing has done more for me than keto. The first week was hell but as I broke my sugar addiction I’ve gotten smaller than ever! Never thought I’d be a 26 waist. It’s worth it!

    Watching this at 1am while eating a bowl of cereal! Lol Everything you say is bang on. Im also 49, 5'9 and 150 lbs. I have gained 15 lbs and need to kick it before turning 50. Just need to get motivated to work out!

    Every time I feel down or lacking motivation, I listen to this and your other videos. I love your statement: if you’re persistent you’ll get it; if you’re consistent you’ll keep it.     Hello Dear Jenifer! Your body is beautiful as always! I love you food, body and workout videos, subscribed for more than 3 years on your channel! Currently your video helps me to get a bit distracted from the news about cruel war that Russia started in my homeland Ukraine. These 5 months ukrainians had an enormous amount of stress. Kyiv was in half-occupation since February 24 till 1st April...Missile strikes and bombilng of our lands continue till now. I am almost in depression. Human health is suffering, but I am trying to workout 3 times per week because I need to be healthy for myself and my 15 months old daughter. Thank you for your tips! Have a beautiful day!

    Instead of waiting for willpower to come I tell myself “the less I want to workout, the more I need to workout”. So if I’m totally not feeling it I know that is the thing I most need to do and I just do it. Willpower never really comes for me because of my hypothyroidism so I can’t rely on that instead I take my lack of willpower and make it work for me.

    I love how you said to focus on just one thing if it’s too much at first like ‘bat wings’. I find that when I change something and it becomes a habit- it’s easier to stack other good habits on to that one and before I know it- I have a little routine!     Love this video, thanks for sharing your stats, methods, and especially your gma's slender motto! I've found that since turning 50, for me, it's "Don't eat after 4, have a body you adore", but that is so hard to stick to consistently so I'm working on slimming down. Thanks for all the inspo!!

    Jennifer, this was a great video. Everything you said is so true and you are so motivating. I am 70 years old and I have been working out and going to the gym since I was in my 30's. I feel great! It is not easy but if you want to feel good and look good you just do it. It just becomes your life style. You look amazing and I know you will look great when you are my age. I love watching your videos!

    You are definitely inspiring to me. I’m 53 and used to have a great body till I hit about your age. I put on 20 lbs just out of the blue and am struggling to get my body back. I don’t eat sweets, and barely any carbs. I know I need to move more and have been trying to incorporate more movement wherever I can. I work a full time and a part time job so it’s very hard to find the energy but I’m getting there. I will be honest, I do feel very jealous of people that don’t have to “work” outside the home because I’d have so much more time and energy to devote to my fitness if I didn’t have to. Having to work 50+ hours a week to make ends meet definitely makes a difference in finding time and energy.

      That also happened to me at the same age, gained 30. I was resigned to it, even gave away all my cute jeans:\ Then for health started jogging and eating better and over a slow period of time (don't expect quick results at our age, just keep going!) lost it all. I don't even jog anymore, just walk. So don't discount a better diet, that produces results like exercise although both are important. Dance in the living room, I do that now! You got this!

    I especially like "we can do hard things ". I'm a 5th grade Instructional Aide and have the pleasure of working with autistic kids. It made me tear up when you talked about it. It's so difficult at times, but the most rewarding thing I've ever done outside of my family.
    I'm going to use this power motto with my kiddos.

    Thanks Jenifer. I'm your age and it's so refreshing and motivating to hear you speak. It seems that in our culture, there's a prevelence of giving up at a certain age, rather than trying to be the best and healthiest one can be throughout life and throughout set backs. I try to remind myself that it's our God given wish to honor and maintain what he has created us to be. Thank you-I'll keep telling myself and my children "I can do hard things"!

    Hi Jenifer I agree with you 100% but a big part is having a peace of mind. I’m turning 55 tomorrow and married 32 years only to give my youth to a man that has been emotionally abusive and getting worst as I’m getting older. One thing I’m scared of is being alone at this time in my life. I’m trying to keep fit but my mind is in scrambles and I’m lost, confused and scared.

      55 is young. These are the golden years coming. Get away from the narcissist and you won't be confused you will be happy and at peace. You have the rest of your life ahead of you.       Prayers that you're led by God's peace and find your way to exactly where you're suppose to be 🤍 I would recommend seeking Christian counseling! Situations can change! But it takes two and if you're in an abusive situation with someone unwilling to heal then don't let fear hold you back from leaving that situation. You are young and there is still so much good in store for your life!

    Thank you so much for the tips. I am 60 years old and my husband and I own a construction company. I go out on the job sites at least 2 days a week where I help pour and finish concrete, put shingles up on the roof and many other construction activities. Our daughter also works for us (she left the healthcare profession because it did not pay enough to cover her expenses). My husband often comments how physically fit I am for my age and people often think I am younger than what I am. So I do think staying physically fit helps in so many ways to make you feel better about yourself. I am not one of those women who think they are as strong as a man, my husband is probably 10 times stronger than me and I know my limitations. My daughter and I joke around saying, "here we are all dirty, looking like construction workers and tonight we will be all dressed up for a night on the town with our men". Thanks again, for a very well done motivational video!

      @@JeniferJenkinsBeauty Yes, and on the days I am home, I try to do some simple excersises for my abdoman, butt and arms. I think those areas can be problem areas for many people. My husband and I both decided we want to be physically active as long as we can, because once you stop, things can go down hill from there.

    this is exactly what I needed!
    I am 58, 5'4 108lbs. I also eat healthy because I've been a foodie most of my life. I have a neurological disability and have used that as an excuse not to work out as much as I need to to maintain muscle mass. My husband and I go to the gym 3-4 days per week and I can do more. I love your take on mini workouts all day.

    I’m prepping for my first bikini competition and nutrition and diet is so important. I’ve learned the hard way over the years that you can’t out train a bad diet.

      I’ve competed in figure years ago. Competing is a whole different ballgame than what Jenifer does. She’s an inspiration I think for the average woman. But for a competitor no. Lauralie, Jen Dorie, women like them are on another level. NOT knocking Jenifer but I would think since you are competing in Bikini that you’d be more inspired by bodybuilders. 🤷🏻‍♀️

    Wow Jenifer! I think this is my most favorite videos of yours yet! I am 60 years old and in pretty good shape. But I am of the sandwich generation still caring for kids and my 90 year old parents. Hearing that your maximum is 15 minutes per day and you can look like you do gives me hope. I do exercise, but I do sometimes get overwhelmed with responsibility in addition I have my own business. But just fitting in little bursts of exercise and coupling that with the motivational poems and quotes, love it!! Thanks so much!! 😘

    I know exactly what you mean when you say that when you see the results that's when the motivation comes and it is SO addictive! I always had an effortless figure until I hit 40 and then it was BAM! my hormones or something just didn't work as they once did.
    I am three years younger than you are and you are inspiring to me! I wish we were neighbors so we could talk about this stuff all of the time! Come to think about it, when I had my girlfriends living next to me, we always kept each other motivated and we constantly talked about health and fitness and would go walking or jogging or taking a class together and it was amazingly fun and effective! Unfortunately, they both moved away. I've learned that I like to workout with someone rather than by myself, but I can do hard things and do it by myself! Sending you lots of love!

    I love this! The concepts are simple and reasonable. I think you hit the nail on the head .. if you can spend hours getting ready putting layers of skin care (guilty as charge) than you can do a few mins of push ups and squats. This video really hit me in the gut😕

    I had to go to a completely different diet bc I was diagnosed with Hypokalemia! My potassium was dangerously low and I thought it was keto flu. if you are losing too much weight you may go to the 30-40-30 diet. Its slightly more healthy carbs and there is a tracker you can use called carb manager to help you keep it balanced. Also I recommend everyone do what I did and order a micronutrient test or get one from your dr. You'll see where you need to supplement. That test found out I probably have a kidney disorder- I am waiting on new tests to confirm bc my potassium remains low even though I am supplementing and eating the right diet now. Another tip would be find a workout you like and just do it 3-4 times a week. Mine is belly dancing w/Kathy Smith.

    I watched some of your videos about what you eat. kind of an eye opener because I always think I can't go below 115 without starving myself. I am same height as you but my comfortable weight has always been around 115-120. I have a little pooch, blah I always have. It feels a little rebellious because I had a boyfriend once that didn't like it. I don't know how I feel about it. I am definately not overweight. I am not motivated either to work out in the gym. I looked at your meals and you eat much less than me. the way you put food together and what you like is hard for me because I don't like mayo or cold meat weird childhood issue. I feel ambivalent about losing weight but you look beautiful and I see you and think I could try for looking like her. Please thank you :)

    I work out (free weights/4 miles on treadmill daily), eat healthy/clean, supplement with vitamins, do disciplined fasting and no snacks, etc. BUT I will never have a body like yours because of genetics. I’m 5’2” and 100 lbs. I have more the waif look , and will never get the voluptuous hourglass look in a millions years unless I resort to plastic surgery like breast/butt implants. But health is more important to me than catering to what men like.

    if you don't like to exercise just walk everyday. walking is exercise that everyone enjoys. you can do it for 30 mins to 2 hours. the more you walk the better

    ive never had a lean body. i have health issues that make it so easy to gain weight and so difficult to lose. i can eat in a healthy macro way all i want and still struggle to lose even the recommended 0.5lbs a week if i dont work out as well. its really disheartening to have to try so hard and see little to no progress. it took me 2 years just to lose 15lbs and thats with eating clean and working out 30-45mins/3-5 days a week. at 40, my sister can stop eating fast food and soda and drop the weight, she just doesnt put in the effort. im so jealous! cuz i know if i had her body and my dedication, itd be so much easier! but i know that wishful thinking and jealousy is futile. all i can do is focus on me, never give up and try my best.. i just had to vent! lol

      Omg I said that slogan on Facebook once and everyone was angry at me. 😢😢😢 It was a weight loss group I thought it would motivate everyone and put smiles on people's faces. Now when you say you don't eat after 8 is it just dinner or snacks? Sometimes I'll have fruit or a salad or a low calorie snack after 8.

    Hi Jennifer all of this used to be so easy for me until I went through menopause.I'm in a menopause group with thousands of ladies who struggle with weight it's a whole different body when you have menopause not easy to lose weight it's a struggle

      I totally believe you! By any chance have you tried the Keto diet? I've listened to many women during and after menopause who swear that the Keto diet is the only thing that helped with menopause body issues. I haven't gone through menopause yet, so I can't attest to that, but it's worth a try. I absolutely LOVE the keto diet! The transition was a little difficult for me because so much of my diet consisted of carbs, but now that I have discovered so many options and meals, I'm thrilled with it!! And I feel great! ❤️😘

      Intermittent fasting works well for me. I’m 54 and in menopause. Maybe try that as an option also. 😊

      It’s understandable if you’re in a group that’s struggling as well. Struggles like success are contagious. I suggest you learn from them instead of blending in with them.

      I’m right there with you. With menopause comes so many changes. I did Keto and loved it! Unfortunately my lipid levels skyrocketed and my doctor was not happy. The keto community all say that this is normal and the levels will normalize, but it really freaked me out. I do intermittent fasting 16/8 and that does help with maintaining my weight.

    Such a sweet, vulnerable , HELPFUL video. Thank you for sharing your age and weight; that's very personal. I appreciate it. I love that little pig quote, haha. I should write that on a paper and tape it on my fridge, lol. Im strictly counting calories and that is the ONLY way for me to not get overweight because I look at food and gain weight. I also LOVE that you said the main reason for your body (awesome body) is diet/food intake and not exercise. I like to workout for 15 min, 5x a week and that's not enough to be slim so tracking food is gonna be my method. Thanks, girl! (And it's 100% ok to be motivated by wanting to look good. That's certainly mine!)

    Hi Jennifer, love this videos so much! Such a true and loving and understanding message and encouragement for developing great habits! I’m 48 🤫how did that happen so fast. But I need to lose 20 lbs to fit back into my favourite clothes. I’ve never gained a lot of weight but after having my son later in life, and not returning to corporate, I started to relax more.
