    One final important message I want to leave you with about migraine management is your mindset about the disease.
    Yes, migraine can be debilitating- physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
    Yes, migraine can be frightening, anxiety-provoking, and unpredictable.
    Many of these aspects of migraine may not be within your control.
    However, flipping the narrative when it comes to migraine is key.
    Instead of focusing on what you CANNOT control, focus on what you CAN control-
    - your dietary choices
    - your caffeine intake
    - your hydration status
    - your daily movement and physical activity level
    - your sleep habits
    - your supplement choices
    - your stress management techniques
    - your resources that you lean on- your family, friends, in-person and online communities, apps
    What I am trying to convey here is that you don’t always have to be a victim of your migraine.
    You can empower yourself by taking steps towards managing your disease.
    Shift your mindset from one of negativity and powerlessness to one of positivity and empowerment.
    Manifest the change you wish to see and slowly you will start to see a change in how migraine affects your life.
