Have you made your annual eye appointment this year?
This is wrong! IIH isn't always related to somatic symptoms! I'm a victim of psychological effects.
Any home remedies? I have an appointment in 2 weeks to see a specialist, but it's too long of a wait.

My CDR is 0:6:1. And I got to know this when I went to the doc for allergic conjunctivitis. My doc made me do a perimeter test which I passed. So she said that I don’t have glaucoma and it could be that I just have larger optic nerve which is normal. Is this true? I’m only 32

what are your thoughts on seeing the sunrise and sunset with the naked eye, without glasses or contacs and not through a window? there is a lot of info out there that that is very beneficial. it can't be true that we should never not wear sunglasses.
I’ve had IIH (PTC) since 2002. My first opening pressure from my first spinal tap was 89 (890, depending on how you say it) and 2 weeks later it was 64. I have had 13 brain surgeries and 200+ spinal taps since. I’m on full disability. I have a VP Shunt and 2 stents. My neurosurgeon saved my life on multiple occasions and saved my vision. IIH isn’t a death sentence.
It can also be tested by pressure in eyes, but you can still have it without affecting eyes

MAM IS IT OKAY FOR ONE TO SLEEP AT 4 AM IN THE MORNING AND WAKING UP AT 10 AM IN THE MORNING WITH A 6 HRS SLEEP AS I AM SUFFERING FROM MIGRAINE AURA ??
While writing down this comment, I am experiencing this condition in my both eyes. It feels something black dotes/waves are flowing through my eyes (round and round ) cant see anything clear but blurry . First time I experienced this last year and I got too scared , I literally cried and told my sisters but then they did not took me seriously as they said that you were ok before 5 mns and what happened withinh 5 mns that you are saying that you cant see properly ( thats a normal reaction as they thought I watched mobile too much in the night and due to improper sleep I am facing some issues ) so I cried and closed my eyes for 30mns and then It was again fine vision . But after that many times, I experienced the same eyesight issue but I never told anyone again as no one gonna believe me and instead they will laugh at me bcz Im just 29years old and no one will trust me. So I just keep praying god that I dont want to loose my eyesight ( sometimes feels that Im gonna blind😢) and I got married just 7months before so really feel bad for myself 😢
Somehow find a way to get to a retina specialist ASAP. If you don't take care of the floaters you're having your retina could possibly detach. That's how I found out 2 of 3 times I've had a detached retina was the floaters. Tell your sisters how serious your floaters are. You say you got married you should be telling your spouse how serious your floaters are not your sisters. If you're seeing that in both of your eyes you need to get to a retina specialist now not next week or next month. 1:26
So what's the solution? Can surgery fix this?

Hello, may I get your address to visit and talking about visual snow🙏
Hello Doctor Greetings from the UK! What is your opinion of the carnivore diet? I have been following Dr Ken Berry, Dr Anthony Chaffee, Dr Tony Lampton and they all insist fibre is not required at all and to stay away from fruit and vegetables. I started with uveitis 23 years ago which led to floaters, cataracts, glaucoma. Have had several operations ending in an ahmed valve in my left eye 14 yrs ago to prevent complete loss of eyesight and a baerveldt tube in my right eye 10 yrs ago. That has proven unsuccessful in lowering my eye pressure to 10/12 as it has been creeping up to 20 even with several glaucoma drops. They have now suggested another tube (Paul tube) to be inserted as well into my right eye but have said I may end up with double vision. I am determined to delay this operation by diet only so when doctors give conflicting advice i.e. carnivore versus plant based, it is very confusing for lay people like me to decide which regime to follow. Also any thoughts about nutritional supplements to bring the eye pressure down? I get no sense from my GP clinic as they all follow conventional studies and are never trained in nutrition at medical school. It is only through my researching on the internet that I came across inflammation starting in the gut!!! Please reply asap as I am getting very desperate. The hospital are advising the operation within 4 months. My right eye is my only strong eye and I cannot function if that is compromised. Thank you Alice
I have this
Useful reinforcement and a very practical tip! I'm going to try the smoothie recipe.
I believe that carrot myth is the only falsehood which was actually healthy!
At 25:45 you say "switch over to whole grain food rich in Omega 6 and very little Omega 3" but at 24:55 you say, "avoid Omega 6 fats because they're proinflammatory".

Mam, I hv a cyst in pituitary gland. My vision is smthn whch i can't xplain. Though the scans say dat d cyst is not compressing nywhr around the optic nerve. But i hv severe dizziness, VNG test picked up nystagmus, eye movement is so scary, can't focus on one area, it's so scary to walk with all dez as dizziness is at it's peak with giat issue. I hv pots, autonomic dysfunction. Suspected case of autonomic neuropathy. Can a missed eye stroke cause such foggy, dizzy, vision dat it bcums so difficult to balance urself or vestibular dysfunction plays a role?
Thanks
