For anyone who's been asking, I use a mod to make the game look more cinematic. Since I didn't record during the livestreams, I had to use other means to record and edit the video. So, for some monitors, dark areas don't look the best. Shouldn't be an issue for future videos
What kind of mod is that? How would you make the game look more cinematic?

Fire Giant took me like 2 days and godskin was like 2-ish hours, endurance bosses suck
Really is though, fire giant is stupid and always makes me change/ streamline my build to beat him, godskin duo takes 2 tries max

godskin duo is harder than maliketh imo
The greatest pain is that you technically got somewhat lucky with your vigor being that high, as it was one of your 3 highest stats out of the 8 of them. A pure average from this run would have put it at ~29
The build honestly wasn't that bad... you just got way too much vigor.

For the god skin fight after you kill one of them, you can keep attacking where their body is. It’ll keep doing damage for a few seconds after.

got so much mind and faith and never equipped a spell until after level 100.
Yeah I was dying when he wouldn't go pick up Flame Grant Me Strength at 15 faith- 20% phys damage increase haha

With that many levels in mind, arcane and faith, I'm surprised you didn't go for Dragon Communion spells...

If you try and torque damage out of the weapon art your regular strikes will slap like a pool noodle, if you focus on the pocket comet azur(or, according to the description, apparently “night comet” lmao) you’ll get no results out of the flame wall and vice versa
And if you focus on just the weapon, you’re going to die if the boss accidentally clips you

@@MamaTrixxieAsmr I feel like it would have still been easier than the bloodhound fang, plus ashes of war mostly level up with the weapon lv so as long as you meet stats requirements you can deal a lot of damage
I think Fia has been handing out hugs to Lionel, he’s a wet noodle against Radahn but he can vigor check you in the depths
Considering where Lionel’s gear is and the fact that you also find the deathbed dress, I’m inclined to agree

What's happening with Melania is that she's bugged so her first phase can't end on a riposte or an attack while she's getting up from a riposte. You pretty much have to wait until she's fully up before you can touch her. I wonder if they'll ever patch it.
Not actually a bug. In the early patches you could kill her first phase with a riposte wich outright skipped her second phase. They intentionally put this in as a fix.

One of the most interesting challenge runs I’ve seen so nice! I liked the vid after about half hour and subscribed at 1 hr 27 mins, superb grit shown my dude v impressive 🙏🏼
This is what the Sword of Night and Flame is for. You need Vigor for health, Mind to use the weapon arts, Endurance for stamina to swing it, and it scales with Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, and Faith. Even your Arcane isn't totally useless because it raises item discovery.
Dude the constant look of disappointment after bairly passing Vigor had me laughing my ass off.

at 29:00 - confidence being sapped after fucking up two dodges and then picking up those runes you didn't think you needed to grab. I felt that.
In regards to the Melania fight and how to deal with waterfowl dance:
Did you know that when Viggo Mortensen (Aragorn's actor in The Lord of the Rings) kicked the uruk helmet he actually broke his toe, and his scream afterward was from real pain! He also really deflected the knife that was thrown at him with his sword because the guy who threw it accidentally threw it right at him!
Also another good tip is that in WW1, the Americans used shotguns and they were so effective that the Kaiser of Germany got mad and demanded that we stopped despite him using poison gas!

I did this same challenge and beat it in like a little over 26ish hours. I had like 40 endurance and 14 vitality rest were 20's-30's
You shoulda tried dodging forward backward and forwards for the waterfall. And then throw a poison pot!

i beat malenia first try with mimic tear and mohgs sacred spear, didn't realize she was supposed to be a hard fight until i fought her fair in a later run
I dont think Arcane helps out Bloodhound Fang, it doesnt scale with Arc, so the bleed procs arent increased.
I joined the stream about a few seconds after you killed malenia, that looked like absolute hell
Watching this live was a crazy experience (not as crazy as doing the actual challenge)
My mans could save himself so much pain just learning to run around her start up waterfowl animation XD
Or just fucking using Tiche
Which is hard as hell and probably takes wayy more time than just using fast rolls
@Andrea Micheli You run in a circle under her, it isn't rocket science 😂 And it is far easier than dying 50 times. Hell, if that's somehow too hard, just use a shield for the first flurry

The results were fixed. Roulette wheel clearly had a magnetic so it’d land on vigor all the time. /s Great playing. Malenia looked exponentially harder without proper vigor.

I know I been outta the loop for a minute now but what happened to all the old streams? There were so many different runs where did they all go used to binge watch while playing
The reason for Malenia not dying with 0HP is because of a bug in the second phase. If she dies due to a status effect or critical attack her second phase spawns with 0HP, netting an instant win for the player. From removed the bug by making it so she can't die in the first phase due to the two afformentioned effects. This is a subtle reference to From Software's lack of coding knowledge.
The Fire Giant is far from the best remembrance boss, but suggesting that he's worse than Godskin Duo!? You deserved to roll Mind for that one
I'd love to see a run like this but with have a seed that biases for or against some stats which is unknown to you. With a roulette like that over many levels you're pretty much guaranteed a Dark Souls 2 mundane style build. Maybe have chat votes determine a seed? I need to think about this some more.

I think rolling all the levels on one roll per level-up visit would have made things more fun and interesting. Felt like it would have been more likely you'd get a 'build'

The triple dodge on Astel's gravity waves was god tier. Also "the Haligaheligahaliga tree" nearly broke me. I felt your mental anguish when fighting Melania. I just managed to take her down at RL1, but it took me >36 hours over a couple weeks to finally do it. Screw frost pots. Great video! Just so you know for future runs, you can skip the parkour drops to the Three Fingers area by performing a backstab on one of the enemies while using a fist weapon and dropping down, its pretty easy to perform and saves your sanity.
A backstab? I hadn't considered that... I did a stagger crit on them that took like five attempts. I gotta try that next time.
See as someone who played the other souls games I got overconfident and built into pure magic. Malenia's everything 1 shotted me, but I'm stubborn and refused to respec my first build. Think I was around 150 attempts before I downed her, with help, who died halfway into phase 2, but hey I did it and that's all I cared about.
Melania is easiest with pure magic. IMO.
Thats how I beat her first.
The hardest part was her first phase, then I just comet Azur phase 2. XD

if there's one thing this journey can teach us, is that Chadfrey is a bro, and will make the roulette choose vigor.
leveling up arcane doesn't increase the bleed build up of BHF because it doesn't scale with ARC. weapons like reduvia and eleanora's poleblade do however.

Add 30 more points to vigor and 20 to dex, and that's pretty much the build i finished the game with in my blindrun lol, just had to nake nore use of incantations and items

The only thing I did was beat radan earlier so I could go to the eternal city
But before ending the game I went and
Found fia in the deep root basin
Then went and did the final step of ranis quest to complete fia
