Hey Leeds, I just want to say that I’ll watch gimmick playthroughs just has happily as soul destroying one’s (also for almost any game) the funnest part is feeling like you executed the run in one sitting, and getting any surprises along the way.
Pretty sure throwing knives do indeed 0 poise damage, but prevent the poise from resetting.
If I remember correctly, they do 0.5 stance damage. I remember stance breaking Mohg once with a throwing knife.
They can also land headshots, I once staggered an invader out of a jumping attack.
Most consumables outside of Gravity stones do 1 poise damage, iirc.
This video opening exemplifies why I loved this community. Everyone willing to come together for a great bad joke for any of their fellow creators.
This video was delightful from beginning to end. The cameos and references to previous runs, the eloquently summarised story, and sprinkled with a dose of punographic voice work... dare I say, this is no mere video! Content?! Pssh!! We're mature here; let's call this what it is!

I think what people were saying about their poise is that theyre useful for maintaining the stance damage.

Even though I already had a hunch that this run would be possible due to "Consumables Only at Level 1" being done, your commentary and run did not disappoint!
P.S. Here are some extra stuff you could've done that would've helped:
- using Howl of Shabriri instead of Flame, Grant Me Strength
- (for Malenia and Rykard) dropping some Knives in front of the fog gate before entering so you can go near the fog gate once inside the arena to get more Knives (Distortion2 used this trick in their Consumables Only run)
- you could've used the Grafted Blade Greatsword for its Ash of War that gives +5 to every stat for 1 minute

21:30 Fia's Champions are a huge pain in the rear if you use any consumables, but if you summon the Marionette Archers it's the funniest fight in the game. They will roll forever dodging the arrows and your only danger is dying laughing!

Your editing is unparalleled
There are three paths I could take when making a joke about this run.
- Something to do with London, or the UK in general
- Bringing a knife to a gun fight
- Jojo reference (Dio)

This was honestly such a good video, it's amazing how much easier this seemed to have turned out compared to the bloodborne one! (Also can't wait till Eleum Loyce becomes really popular. Then we'll have another challenger among the ranks! Also I hope everyone does more callabs cause it's awesome seeing all of you guys together in a video)
The sheet amount of puns in this run were killing me. Death by a thousand puns, in fact.
Hearing Samurai playing at the end of so many of these videos always provides a slight chill, and I love how it always ends the video so well

10:20 knifes do NOT do poise damage, however they stop enemies and bosses poise bar to replenish. This can lead in confusion some people.
We can say the deal fake 0 poise damage, since they no not decrease the poise, but also do not allow it to replenish
just so you know, there's a pretty fun way to freeze ghost Loretta's ai, Loretta isn't hard but it's fun spamming your slowest attack on her

@@JKLeedsI guess there are some guns that have a similar shooting pace as throwing daggers and have low ammo, but AC is build around all weapons having limited ammo. I do not know how to make this into a challenge run similar to these.

The one time I didn't mind fighting Plesioth was in 3U. Swimming actually made the fight tolerable. Not outright fun, mind you, but at least it didn't do the Hyperspace Hipcheck all that often.

-Well, if you enter every fight overleveled as hell, minmax the shit out of your build, and have every single encounter burned into your memory so hard, that someone could wake you at 1 in the morning, hand you the controller and you could dodge Malenias attacks before even qualifying as "awake"... Yes, but only barely!

I can confirm Rykard is 100% possible using ranged consumables, I myself went even further and wanted to see if it could be done with ONLY the spell that throws a slow moving cloud of flies that cause bleed, it took forever but it was completely possible. Using poison throwing knives for poison damage, kukuri for bleed procs, and the extreme amounts of normal/bone throwing knives you can have is more than enough to damage it out with the right build to get the status build up and damage buff duration.
When he sits on that throne and stares like that it makes me soo uncomfortable!🤣
