I have 10 of those Bloom Plus 3000's and 1 Bloom Plus 4000 . They are great lights for the price. I can't really speak on longevity since I've only been using them for about a year now, but they do come with a 3 year warranty so that's nice. I hit about 103000 on the lux meter with them turned all the way up. And they will work good for a 4x4 tent.
I really like your videos I'm currently shop for a grow light I'll will be blooming in a 4x2 tent and I'm wondering which of these light would you recommend should I go with 2 of the bp-15000 or will one bp-3000 be enough for the space thank you
The 3000 is best used in a 3x3 and the 1500 is good for 2x2 as I said so 2 1500 would be better coverage for a 4x2.

I got the BP3000 about a month ago for my 4x4 tent. This light Rocks. I got it at the original price of $299./Steal. Since then they raised it to $325. Still a bargain. I used a 6inch clip fan and mounted it on a tent ceiling bar right above the drivers. It is literally cool to the touch now. Absolutely Love This Light. Great Video Bro. Be Easy. 🤙

Hey first off, thanks soo much for the series. Planning a 3x3 tent and was hoping for advice on lights. Would you recommend the BP 1500 for a 3x3 or a maxsisun 1500 from a few videos ago. On the maxsisun you mentioned the 1500 was an unusual size which would be good for a 3x3 but the bloom plus has Samsung diodes. Diodes are cool but not worth if they don’t cover the 3x3?
Bloom Plus says the BP1500 is good for a 3x3 but I know you recommended 2x2. Also forgot to mention it will be autos and not pheno.

What would you recommend for someone who currently already owns a 150w HPS and a couple CFLs who is trying to change from a small closet grow to a 3x3 or 4x4 tent? I'm growing 2 ladies right now & they look happy but I'm trying to step it up next run and can't decide whether to get a 315cmh and run both of those together or go LED
Been running the 3000 at 320 watts for six months with no ill effects. Best bang for the buck amazon buy when it was 220 bucks. Got 3 when they were that cheap.
I’m curious I noticed that the LED they’re using is the Samsung 2835s… And what I’m seeing is a lot of people are promoting the Samsung 301b or 301h Samsung diode ... I really couldn’t find what’s the difference between the diodes...Oh the other thing I was thinking is just hack the transformer and put in a hlg 310h-c1400 b (something compatible) transformer in replace of the transformer it’s using to upgrade the light intensity unless the Samsung diode cannot handle the power… What your thoughts

The BP2500, i know a guy 😉...who has it in a 4x2, and it's killing it! It's the perfect light for that set up. Only uses 250 watts at full power, which is nice!
Do you still think this light is worth the money? Or are you better off spending a little more for 301b or h diodes and a meanwell driver with a dimmer know? I think the light but can't seem to pull the trigger. any thoughts?

I just bought 6 of the 1000 for better coverage of my tent but now I’m scared they won’t produce the high numbers.

I chose this light for my first grow on my page with a spiderfarmer sf1000 for 3 plants in a 2x4 and it did really good. Just got my 4x4 tent now and thinking of going with bloomplus 3000 for it
Light bars are so much better then boards for a more even light distribution. Without the center hot spot of a board you can get bars so much closer which can also help for height restricted grow areas.

I actually just bought 2 of the BP1000s for my 2x4 tent. Overall I’m pretty happy though I have some concerns.
According to bloom plus, the BP1000 doesn’t use a driver instead uses a high voltage linear power supply, made in house. So 94VDC is going to each board, which seems like a lot for LEDs. Apparently the power supply provides a constant voltage while limiting the current. I was hoping to hack these lights to update the driver but I can’t find anything other than a table top power supply that provides 94VDC. If someone has any ideas please let me know.
Also considering supplementing these with a COB to add some UV and blues while boosting the reds.
For that tent, you need the BP2500, if you're trying to veg and flower the entire space.

The Infared gun gives different reading to different surfaces according to color from dark to white due to emissivity. Put a piece of black tape down and shoot that for an accurate, consistent measurement

It would be cool if you put smaller lights in the corner of the tent. If you centered a "2x2" light in one half of your 2x4 and took your measurements in the back corner, then it would show side and corner coverage closer to what it would in a tent the right size for the light. Cool videos.
Best affordable light or lights for a 5x5 tent?
I'm making the switch from MH and HPS to LED , and am looking for a legit recommendation. I'm new to your channel and haven't been able to go through all of your vids yet, so any recommendation would be valued and appreciated
People's opinion of affordable varies greatly. Some misuse that word but really just mean cheap while others actually mean something good but far from the cheapest.
I mean something good but far from the cheapest. So far all the lights I've seen in reviews seem to be for a 3x3 tent. I'd just double up the lights to get the best coverage but then heat may be a concern.
I have heard good things about the Hydro TS 3000, but I believe its max coverage is @ 4x4.

I've been running my bp1000's 24/7 for at least 4 months and everything is okay, not that they owe me but I was really hoping they would be my sponsor but they've been reaching around me I've even reached out to them and nothing almost all the guy's I know have a light from them and I have actually purchased 3 of their lights, I'm just glad the product works but I'm definitely in need of a light sponsor.

I think that’s how they did it for me also with PayPal payment then I ordered. That’s pretty standard I’ve done that lots of times with these light companies.

$1000 is quite a budget really lots of options. My top choice would probably be the growcraft X5 (discount code: j2g). It's going to be really hard to beat that light and it would fit in your budget. If you wanna save some money you could go with a HLG 550 R spec but it won't be as even coverage as the x5.

one thing that just doesnt make sense to me over and over again is why these companies dont add a second ir diode...
I’m finally getting on the LED train after almost three decades of using HID fixtures. I’m really digging the new quantum boards and currently testing the SF1000 after watching your review recently. I’m debating on going with a modular setup and using the smaller SF1000 fixtures mounted together. I’m thinking that since they’re about a sq foot it would be more than enough to flower an area with one fixture covering each sq foot in a 42”x28” space. So I would need 6 of them for a 3x2’ footprint with a few extra inches around the outsides. I know there’s great fixtures for just about everything from a 1.5’ to a 5’x5’ flowering footprint but since I just made an extra space available to use I can make it exactly how I want from the start and if I decide later that I’m not happy with the lights I can either use them for a veg area and I wouldn’t be losing as much of my investment, around 350$ by my math vs the larger fixture that I would use as a stand-alone unit for the same space.
*I would really love to hear your feedback regarding your thoughts on using multiple fixtures vs a single fixture for a 3x2’ space that can actually be made into a 5x5’ space in the future. I am using mylar panels for reflectivity and to section off an area of the total 5x5’ space that will most likely be used in the future. Thanks so much for all the great videos and all of your time and effort in supplying us with firsthand knowledge!

Multiple is nice because you can have different parts of the canopy at different heights and multiple angles. If you don't need that it's not worth it because you will pay more money buying a lot of smaller fixtures vs a few larger ones.

@@MidMOGrower Closer to 100% I don't spend my money to show lights for these companies. It's their marketing let them pay for it. I will still give an honest review because the PAR meter doesn't lie. They know that up front. Only one company has sent me a complete piece of shit and I trashed it beyond belief even though it was free.

All I use bloom plus is the shit for only 250$ u can't beat it
1500par is ‘too much’ without c02. 800 par is around 85% productivity meaning it can grow 15% less and have 15% less yield then plant flowering under 1,000-1500par assuming all other aspects of your grow are correct

Cheap amazon grow lighs? a lot of grow lights are cheap, you just need to diy and you can customize it to whatever spectrum you please. I use ali express and select each led cob myself
