I got the P2500. Plants love it. Made frostier buds than my cmh315 light. And, I love the heat sink on top. They claim that a 250 watt led is equal to a 600 watt HPS. But, it's actually equal to a 500 watt. Also, I found a better way to hang the light. I bend a metal coat hanger into a wide U-shape and attach them to each side instead of the hanging wires. It allows you to hang the light within a few inches of the top of your tent or ceiling.
I wanna see the P2500 an P4000!? They also have the new XS series out now, XS1500, 2000 an 4000! Would really enjoy watching them!! I have a 4x4 tent no light yet.. still trying to decide on one. 😎✌🇺🇸
If you're in a 4×4 you get better coverage eliminating hot spots by getting 2 of the XS2000s
Remember they're 240 wstts and still cheaper then spiderfarmer and built better from ground up. They got a code on if you check their website when checking ooutta Amazon good thru December 21s
Example the XS1500 is 169$
With the 25$ code they are are 126$. And the spider farmer SF1000 is 98 watts. The XS1500 is 150 watts.
Better HLG series driver better heat sink better 3 g fin cooling more diodes and just flat out designed better.
The XS2000 is 240 watts 269$
Vrrs SF2000 200 watts.
With the code the XS.2000 is 201$
I love my XS 4000 its better than my old 1000 hps for sure!

The design and functionality of the dimmer knob is nice AF.
Right? That’s literally the thing I like best. The knob is so smoooooth. Don’t get me wrong the light is cool and all but that knob.....

I got 2 of the P1500s and a P2500.
Check out my dude Mike at Down with Prohibition. He harvested a lil over 600 grams dry weight with 2P1500s 1 p1000 and 1 SF1000.
You can watch the grow series and the viparspectra smokes the SF1000. I run the 2 P1500s in a 2×4 and its smashes it.
I got the P2500 in my flower tent flowering out a G13. Its doing phenomenal. But yea check out the P4000 the thing is huge . 42 inches long by 15 or 16 inches wide.

The new upgraded versions of the pro series are even better. I use 2 p2000 in a 1,2x1,2m tent.
Great value for the money.
Noticed the driver gets ridiculously hot without a fan being put directly on it to the point of me having to buy a whole new fan for the tent. After I put a fan to it I haven't had issues but other than that I haven't noticed any problems with performance in my 5x5
Viparspectras par tests show the P2000 testing higher at 18” than the P2500...is that because they used a 2x4 tent for the P2000 and a 4x4 for the 2500?

If I was to use this light for vegetable seed starting what would be the recommended height and percentage to run something like this light ? I'm using T5 bulbs now and with 8 bulbs at 54w each it seems to me a light like this could be better economically. Especially if I could set it at 25-50%
You'd have to watch the video, I test it and show the readings at different levels.
I think viparspectra does give u a really great value ... throw in a baby katana sold. i wish these companies would throw different color spectrums for the same price .. im just 2 in love with the feit hydroponic/full spec lights

How hot does the whole tent get? Im looking st one of these for my citrus trees to over winter with indoors in a grow tent and thinking ill put a fan in one corner to circulate the air and a pan of water to help with humidity
You need to research how tent ventilation works. That's not it. With a proper ventilation setup this is easy to cool as long as the room you have it in is temp controlled.
Looks like a perfect light for my 3x3x6. need to upgrade...
Get the newest Viparspectra xs 4000 light you won't be disappointed! Mines soooo bright its crazy! Draws 400 watts but works like 1000 hps...better imo cuz ofnits length. Happy growing:)

My Mary Magdelin cut has the biggest leaves I have ever seen there like 12 inches long it's crazy. The Baby batter is doing good to.
Out of all these light u review what do you currently use for your grow?
Currently I have a growcraft x3 in my 2.5x4.5 flower tent and a raymatix HAMR in my 2x4 veg tent, spider farmer sf1000 in my clone, seedling area. There are many lights I review I would use but I only have a few grow spaces. 🤷🏻♂️

Any suggestions for a 5×5 flower room? I'm leaning towards the Aglex 3000watt model with led cobs. There is a 2×2 space in the room used for the AC. Going to start looking through your videos to help me make my decision. Thanks for all the info!
I wanted to get your advice. I have a 2 by 4 tent with a xs 2000 & maxsisun PB1000 currently. I want to switch out the PB 1000 and put in an xs1000 and use the PB 1000 as a veg light. I am wondering what you think I could add in for more infrared and or more red or deep red. I am interested in trying to help my trichome and resin production with other Spectrum for my next grow or maybe for the rest of this one. Any advice is appreciated
For more IR, red and uv you can get the rapid led Emerson and exotic bar kit I have. Hlg also makes a uv bar.

Usually, anywhere from 18"-30" above the top of the canopy. If it feels hot on your hand then it's hot on the plant too.

@@Shpinkterify you can’t really believe the ratings they give, look at the par numbers and judge from there or watch others like me that review lights and have meters to check it.
Imagine this exact power and diode count but the fixture is 4 inches longer
The diodes could be spaced out further
I had one of these and it stopped working after 2 months.

Viparspectra is the best IMO. I wouldn't consider them "cheap amazon lights" their newest 1 cost me almost 400 bucks(XS 4000). Best light i have ever seen! I would definitely consider "Moobibear" to be a cheap and dangerous Amazon light. Mine caught on fire!

@Joaltosa they are great lights. I pulled almost 12oz. Out of a 2x4 with 4 mid sized autos.
Didn't realize It was that strong on 25% probably stressed my plant out during veg blasting 75%-100% oops
