did a 3000 last month, I didn't see this version. mentioned to Bloom Plus about "real" dimming (balanced power draw) and longer wires to allow for remote mounting (heat control).... clearly they were listening to someone and already working on those issues. thanks for the content. cheers
I have two of the older bloom plus bp 3000 in a 4x4. Most I ever got was 26 zips at 600w. I have a bp2500 also and the most I’ve gotten with that was 11 zips . My cousin has the bp 4000 and he’s gotten 18 zips off that. Nice quality big dense buds. Definitely worth the money.
How did you fit 2 3000s in a 4x4? Are they diagonal to each other? How's the heat from those 2? What kind of ventilation do you need to keep your temps in place?
@@xxhelderxx one In the front and one in the back . The heat is fine , I have a 6in ac infinity working it tethered with a 32x32 tent. I just pulled 34 zips my last run . This light crazy
I thought I was the only one who called bs on that average par crap. I want even par numbers across the entire canopy. If a grow light can't produce par numbers in the corners and edges that are strong enough to flower then what good is it?
That's why I try to point out things that I think can be improved in these reviews not just an infomercial acting like there are no flaws. Most of the time these companies are open to suggestions.
Very nice review. What do you think of XP3000 compared to XP2500? It doesn’t seem to have much of a difference to me besides the higher wattage. Is it worth the higher price tag?
Keepem commin still want to see the barrina 2000 with wing style when I saw your voltgrow review I ordered it the next day thanks for all your bad azz help brother
you didnt mention hanging height so im guessing it's 20" as always... im gonna get one for a 3x3 that seems to be comparable for the bar light by vipraspectra only i guess vipraspectra has 301h and this is 301b....shit this is good for a 3x3 thanks for the info
Would love to see you do one on Lumatek ATS 300w Though some people might say it doesn't really fall into that "budget" category, considering the price tag, but man oh man that thing is a killer. And colours are cool too Great video great content fam! Love & respect
Bloom Plus is by far the best budget LED light company out there. I wouldn't be surprised if they start raising their prices soon. The lights are very worth it. Plenty of videos on my channel to prove so.
Not unless they get rid of those Done drivers.. 140° is ridiculous for a DC driver.. I plan on switching to 2 meanwell 150w or 200w drivers hear soon.. should make my xp3000 a little more efficient..
But I agree.. the price is definitely good..much cheaper than a spider farmer...I just bought a sf4000 for $460 just to have meanwell drivers along with 301b..
how big is this light ? do you think it would fit in a 2.5ft x 2.5ft ? i know that’s small but i prefer to get stronger lights & just run them @ lesser power so they last longer
so does the mar tsw 2000 have a better spectrum for flower than this light? i was thinking about grabbing this one for veg in 4×4 and taking the tsw from that space and putting it in a 3×3 for flower
Thanks for the vid dude. I tried to post earlier, got an error I think and it said thanks for the bud. Sorry and disregard the last comment lol. Anyway does your discount apply for Canadian amazon?
Gotta say at least they put a dimmer on and spread the chips out but those drivers are done and in all honesty done for in well under a year of constant use. Done and Trueffall are the 2 worst brands I've ever been unlucky enough to have on lights. Should've kept the MOSO or better yet went with Sosen. But Sosen would add more cost to the light. Tho if you get 1 harvest you got your money back and then some. So for value its a solid budget light.
Parfactsworks hb1500 uses the same diodes and I have both, I definitely like the parfactsworks hb1500 over the bloomplus 1500 but both are awesome budget LEDs, I have had a ton of success with the parfactsworks ra1000 as well it only pulls 120 from the wall and it produced 6 oz off 1 plant for me.
Hello sir. If I could ask you about this light cose I am planning to buy several of these. How they behave within long period of usage? What about the heat?
Wow thanks for all your videos. I been watching for sometime. So many choices If you had to pick one budget light for my 2x4 flower tent what would it be ? Appreciate your help
Bro you measure everything but the only most important measure you didnt mention is the the hight you hang the led light please i need this to my 4×4 tent
I literally watched this vid 100x. I'm watching now cause I have same light but no par meter so I'm going by ur metrics and according to par my light dimness was way off. The instruction manual recommendation was way under. Just becareful guys remember the middle is gonna be higher so if u got directly under then u may get light bleaching
Apparently that’s because bloom plus is a trash company. I just spoke to them. They told me that my code would work to get me to review it and now they say they won’t allow my code on the xp series only the bp series. They basically lied to me to get me to review it. It has been nothing but issues behind the scenes. The company is a mess and I cannot recommend them at this point. Buy at your own risk.
@@Ben_here_b4 Yeah man it's incredible the levels of incompetence I'm dealing with right now from their rep. This rep apparently was the XP rep when he sent me the light but since then has been demoted to BP series and the XP team doesn't want to honor my code. What a mess of a company. I hate companies that have "teams" that work against each other. Mars does the same shit.
@@Ben_here_b4 Now after I told them I would let everyone know they tried to pull a fast one they're going to honor the code. Imagine that!! What a joke.
@@Justintime2grow right on. I don't plan on having anything totally all up in the corners. The light is pretty badass and got it on sale for 280. Way better than the BP3000 I had in the 4X4 before. Put that BP3000 in my 3X4.

@@cachito1904 Good to hear, good to hear. I've got a few hours to pull the trigger on a good deal for a brand new XP2500. It's not a meanwell driver, and the chips clustered to the edges of the board have me skeptical. But it seems like the XP has a decent heatsink, and I looked into the driver, doesn't seem bad. Looks like you could relocate the driver if need be? I've just been way too skeptical.

The people who paid 3x the price want to justify by any means necessary. They seemingly can't bare to see newer models performing similar for 1/2 or less the cost lmao people pulling 5+ounces off 150w LEDs and ppl talking about $700+ lights like it's required for great buds 🤣 As if a plant that yields 5+ ounces is anything close to "under performing/unhealthy/unhappy" lmao

Thanks for the closeup, the UL listing sealed the deal for me. Wanted to make sure it wasn't THAT cheap 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 using your code as well, cheers bud
Ended up snagging the XP4000 for the 4x4 (not the XP3000), hopefully the 5x5 designed coverage will just get even better in the 4x4 haha

Actually that’s where the wires are soldered to the board. It protects the connection from moisture and damage. Some larger ones even contain drivers.

A true canopy par measurement requires a dark floor. Find a piece of black material and retest. I guarantee the reading will be lower.
