Almost seems like too much of a coincidence 🤔😂
save much of my time,
Looks like he shot the video at 4:25 cause he had a stoner moment beginning lmao
Nice!
you are the queen 100%
This man for sure smokes a blizzy b4 recording
Oh fo sho haha
Not like I'm all high and mighty...or mighty at least, but you are spot on🤣. He didn't get into the "review" till like 4 minutes in, love it!
Prolly with some 90% thc distillate thrown in. Details are important btw. Like the blue light
Lol 😂😂 love it when People notice things fast
And I do it before watching videos
Someone needs to give Shane an award for outstanding services to humanity.
Someone should get him a strong coffee too!
Growmau5 too.

Shane is the man! Gotta love the transparency and honesty, true integrity which is hard to find these days. I will gladly continue to support migro and let as many people as I can know about your channel
thank you!!
Thanks man.. been watching your vids for awhile now.. you always gave such great information and educate us. Keep up the great content! Subs!
Nice Videos shane!thanks for all those Tests!✊🏽
Ah haha you beat me to it!! I'm testing some cheap Amazon lights this week for some review videos. Good job. 👍
I made an error calculating the Meizhi efficiency. It is 1.26 PPFD/Watt instead of 1.23 PPFD/Watt. A typo error when creating the video. Thanks to Henry for spotting the inconsistency👍
MIGRO would love to see a detailed video on the Meizhi, also I believe the fans pull air into the unit as a pose to blowing air out the top it. Reversing them could improve heat efficiency??
1.26 is sooo cute. But for beginners... ...same output as HID but less Heat.
What's the best led to date to run a 4×8?
How high u turn it up in veg
Thank you, your videos are awesome
Hi! Love your videos! Thanks so much! I've learned so much.
From 1 Irish guy to another, excellent channel! Really solid advice. Fantastic knowledge in your field! And yet another Irish guy showing the world how it's done. Cheers!
Thank you so much for your videos, you really help us new growers out.
Thank you for the video!! I’m going to start a hydroponic grow in my basement lettuce, spinach. In these unprecedented times I guess most can come out of this a bit wiser.
I'm on my fifth grow w/ two viparspectra 600, that were around $160.00 each and have had incredible results each time. They are still going strong after five grows!
Glad to hear it , got one coming
Thanks for the info on the budget lights Shane.
I want to Thank you for all your work and information and I LOVE YOUR WORK, VIDEOS
you are the best place on youtube for light reviews
Very helpful. I was just about to purchase the viparspectra.
Thank you for your time and effort my friend
It has saved me time and effort.
Oh! And money!
Thanks again

Let me add that I have 2nd Meizhi 300R with spledid results for 60x60 tent. Further a bit more blue keeps plant low, usually welcome with new genetics. Excellent job as usual. Thank you.
Thank you. Interesting and educational, as ever.
good comparison video. Happy Halloween !!!
Absolutely love this Channel.....Uses his own companies time and channel to help the beginner grower and shows all the good of cheap lights.....well guess what? Those beginners WILL be Migro customers because of this exact service.
Love the vids, always very helpful and informative thank you. How do the mars hydro ts1000 and spider farmer sf1000 lights fit into this and any reason they were not part of it? Thanks again.
I really like to see the LightRaise 1000w from Amazon. That one is 165 watt, I have that light and it seems to work pretty good.
Love the channel!
Do the Meizhi and Viperspectra really have identical PAR heatmaps? Looking at the maps shown at 4:41 5:07 respectively. Different hanging heights, and efficiency but is the PPFD map correct? Thanks for the great content as always.
Thanks for the review. Blessings
Ty Bro @micro for the video very interesting for us growers lover yes I my friend
Great post. Very informative. Cheers
They just recently legalized weed in my area and I started with a light called aokrean, it's 105 watts all together. Managed to grow 2 ounces of weed from bag seeds in a card board grow box; that also being hermaphrodites with made seeds. Most of the energy went into making seeds. Could have possibly had over 3 ounces with out seed production. Even more with auto's.
I have three of the Meizhi, will be working my way to better lights soon but these 3 do well in a 5x3 tent, my question is you have the measurements at 13" above the canopy is that right? Can the plants take that? I keep mine usually around 24-30" above.
Great info. Thanks!
I have used Mars Hydro 720s and Yehsence 1000w. Some issues with boards going out on Yehsense, but have gotten great bud results and they quickly shipped new ones under the 3 yr warranty.
First grow in tent. Got 600w philzon. Great for veg, struggled to get to bloom. Lot of stretch. Went 12/12 from beginning next grow. Great results for price/pwr consumption/time. FWIW
Thank you for clearing up the murky waters of grow light manufactures claims. If you’re just starting,on a budget,go through these reviews. You will be informed!
You're doing gods work pal! fair play
You’ve made the most sense out of any video I’ve watched on UA-cam so far
Thank you for this review really nice.. Would love if you are able to make a test for Phlizon CREE Cob Series 1000W LED (Real 245W) someday :)
I agree... I got a 1500 cob
€100 is about $112 US dollars, if anyone was curious. Good video brother! I may invest in this for an addition to my flowering room and/or clone room. I'll still keep my HPS for flowering, but I'd like to add this to the room for that spectrum boost. Then I'll move my supplementary flourescents into my vegetative room. Good video man! Keep it up.
Edit - This video made me subscribe! Thanks again.
I felt like we were dancing together while you explained this to me.
I will be using 2x Viparspectra V600w led that has bloom switch and veg switch. How far away should my lights be from plants in veg stage and bloom stage? Can I have both switches on (only one light) first week, week and half lets say 6 plants, and after that turn on second light and both switches on until harvest? Thanks
What stage of using all 3 spectrum at once? Is it right after plant grows out 3rd Node level to go with all 3 spectrum s?
This is the real help and a great support, and this makes a good Channel!
Because they may become Migro light buyers later on, because they learn with their own failures!
It's like with bicycle driving, you have to kiss the floor to learn it later on, some earlier some later 😂😂😂
Handy info cheers, good video. man u looked chonged , I thought I look stoned last night ✌
My Phlizon 600w just burned the "Bloom" switch...
It didn't even finished a single 6 months grow.
Otherwise, the single plant under it looked pretty good up until harvest.
I just love this channel and the content you put up, please keep it up man!
Peace from Colombia!
When I was a kid we had to write our own manuals and screw in each LED individually.
“Fake user” I see what ya did there!
barefoot in the winter too.
it was a pain.. with those eye glass size phillip screws.... the strips these days are a breeze..
@@Playingwith3D Walk uphill to get to school - both ways
Would red led strip lights help to increase yields? Or are they no good for growing at all?
I'd like to see the spider farmer sf1000. On Amazon for around £140, just got one and wanted to see some real tests done on it. Samsung lm301b, meanwell driver etc
Yeah its requested a lot. I'll get one and do a separate post on it👍
@@MIGROLIGHT that would be great! I got sent one but I'm in no position to accurately review it. I can just say how my plants grown under it
@delosombres 'only 100w'
I have 2 led 1200w Wakyme lights. I only put 1 in a 4x4x8 grow tent. should I put the luther one in? due to the heater and humidifier taking up light space. Thank you in advance
You are the boss Shane !
Thank you for these invaluable posts of solid, decent information amongst a sea of make believe statements
I honestly just bought everything Vivosun. And it works well. Just get a pulley system. The tent is great and growth is happening. Def one of the least expensive but def tried and true and works well. It’s like the first company to come up on Amazon usually. (eBay also). Cover Mars Hydro and Vivo
From your other videos , I gather that red spectrum helps produce more Anthocyanins. Am I understanding correctly? I’ve always read that 6500k T5 are the best all around due to the high blue spectrum. I grow lots of succulents . About 150 in my collection. Want them to stay compact and colorful. I have a bunch of T5 already. What’s your best recommendation for a budget light to keep them colorful and compact? Thanks for your wonderful videos ! I appreciate them 😊. My shelf space is 48” wide and 24” deep . I’d like something to cover that space .
Hi Shane. I love what you do and have much respect for you on your truths about light technologies. I am wondering how many of them meihzi 450w lights would be good in a 4 x 4 x 80" tent.Thank u and I hope to hear from you on this matter!
I'm nowhere near as knowledgeable as Shane but with my experience with two 450w viparspectras in a 3x3 tent I'd go with at least 3-4 for best coverage in a 4x4
Very cool vid bro
Straight to the point mate. Didn't bore me at all
Great video as always and you should do one on the spider farmer sf 2000 says it get like 2.7 so should be good if like to see what your yhoughts are on it
I agree, spider farmer would be interesting to look at.
I want to use these lights in an enclosed garden atrium part outdoor - will they work for this application?
So I've got one of these lights but even more Chinese (I'm from South Africa - some Chinese merchants don't pay tax etc etc etc), it's called the PlantLight E900 (~200w wall draw). So it has two switches and I've been flowering with both of them on. With both of them on, it's around 45% blue 55% red - not efficient. With only the flower switch turned on, there are 8 blues (and 4 greens) to 50 red - 16%. Should I flower with just the red switch, even though it would be ~55% light intensity? Or perhaps just switch to the flower-only switch in the latter stages of flowering? I really want my Jalapeños to be as big and tasty as possible.
I've got 2 philzon lights (both "1000w" one being COB and the other a regular LED) and for the price, I've been very happy with the yields. I would love to buy better LEDs but at a cost of $1200, it's a little out of my price range.
Shane what would you recommend for a quality led light in the price range of $600-$1000 usd. I'm trying to fill a 8 foot wide by 4 foot deep tent. I can be 2 lights for this. I use the Meizhi 1200's and have changed to 1000w Hid lights at the moment. I'm looking for an efficient led that can compare to HPS. Thanks. bty it's pronounced MI-ZEE
I have a viparspectra 450w and some single LEDs seem to have burnt out after a year when it says 100000hrs usage so nowhere near. What do you think happened?
Hey how's it going, was wondering if you've I'm trying out the 2000watt Koscheal full spectrum LED ? And if so what were your thoughts on it?
Migro, What do you think of the tolys 1000 watt full spectrum led grow light
SHANE good man yourself.. We always get the truth from you.. Good or bad.. It's refreshing in these times.. PLEASE keep up the good work 🍀🍀💚💚💚
The ones with lots of blue lighting percentage were probably originally designed for marine aquarium lighting and then just readvertised for plant grow lights, I've noticed they do that alot
Meizhis 23% higher par compared to the Vipar is much, right?
I really enjoy your videos Shane. You explain things clearly and honestly, and I've learned a great deal from them.
One very small minor point of nitpicking: Meizhi should pronounced more like "may-jer" :-)
Currently got an led bar, but thinking about going with an Apelila 1200W, just shy of £100 but as there are other for significant less I'd put my money on paying extra for the best results
I’ve had a kind like 450 for five years I was either thinking of getting the same brand is 600 but they’re so expensive is there anything comparable to it
Hey Migro what do u think about the cannagrow cob led 50 watts full spectrum?
That meizhi is upgrade or it's the old one? Gracias
bro I saw some led grow light with UV and IR. Are those necessary or what are they for i dont trust any other info besides urs :) thanks
Try the Giixer "1000 w". It's only $80 and I just used it for a 3'x '3 area
So the Meizhi was the best bang for the buck in this lot of lights?
Seen some great results from the Meizhi 450.
Hell yeah, i did he test run with the latest edition of Meizhi reflector 600, pulled 250 watts from the wall when both switches was on. 80x80 cm tent. Perfect and it will cover a 90x90 (full 3x3) good. Doing some side by sides comparing Veros 29g7 cobs, quantum board and this Meizhi 600. Fun!
Just a thought I think Shane would be good as an adviser to the RHS and other plant growers (not just the mostly blokes growing you know what). Many gardeners like me are very unsure of this area. Many living in flats haven't access to enough adequate light.
I'd love to see a updated version of this...
What's out on Amazon today
Theres a Barrina full spectrum 200w at wall light IV been looking at not sure if I should get
the roleandro light i bought was way different, it was 600 watt ,multi spectrum , and it had duel chips , it wasnt the epistar diodes, if that is what those ones are. it even had a couple uv chips on it i think. i could be wrong about that . but there was 4 chips on all there lights that were very dim to the naked eye. the plants grew with extremely tight node spacing. so far i havent seen anyone get that light.
Hey man, do you know anything about the S600 by EasyGrow Lighting Group? From manufacturer's specs seems to be quite interesting, don't you think? Could you consider making a complete review with PAR, PPFD, Spectrum, absorbed power and more? It would be a great test, in my opinion. Thanks for everything you do!
So what light do you use for your bonsai?
I want to grow two plants how many ways do I need is 150 good?
How would you say the Mars hydro ts1000 stacks up with these?
Can you do a review on the Black Dog LED Phytomax-2 1000 ? Its claimed to run 1050 true watts and out performs any 1000 w de hps
Im attempting to repair my meihzi450s by soldering in new Leds. can someone please specify the Brand & wattage i should be looking for. TY
I own 2- kingled 1k watt
Roleardo 1500w
(above are blurple)
And the 88$ cheezy white led light.
Kingled have shocked my by coming into contact with the screws that hold it together.
Roleardo is fine for blurple.
The 88$ 2k watt light has my plants bending away from the rest to grow toward it.
I also have 8 4' led lights (4 - GE 6500k 4' foots) and 2- 4 ' hypertough walmart led shop lights. (side lights)
I like the hypertough lights, but i cant say they are compartable to the GE.
i dont know if they are on amazon but i have always used Morsen LED's. They are very affordable i believe.
your the best man.
Great points. Thanks for the reviews!
🙏
Love these types of videos, would love to see what you would recommend for a light that will cater to a 3x3 !
Mizhi 600
My choice would be 2 pcs Meizhi 300 R. Excellent light.
@@SuperSwitched Yes indeed.
@@miroslawszymanek1849 good choice. i got one 300 and one 600,got em very cheap on a sale.
I recently bought “Cultilite - Led Antares 90W” can someone give me opinion on it and how many plants can i grow with this light since there’s so much information and not much about this lamp I’m kinda confused
Please review the COB X6. 300 watt draw. Around $100 on Amazon
Hey Shane, do you know anything about Black Sun S6 /fan less 6 cob light?
Can a Grolux dual spectrum be used on a ELT magnetic ballast ?
Can you please make a review on the new optic Phantom 1 XL
What can you tell us about that Lenofocus 102w $80 quantum board? Skip it and go HLG 65 V2 for $100?
Angry amazon vendors are going to hate this video haha ^^ That's probably why it has quite a few thumbs down.
This video is really nicely done!
Boto, I think the 👎s are because he is stoned out of his gourd. He is kinda pitiful and sad.
Great video as always! I like the fact that you are testing these
"Amazon" lights. Can you check out the Phlizon CREE Cob series, and also some of the "Quantum boards" full spectrum grow lights? Thanks for all your hard work and commitment.
Ive been eye balling the philzon cree cob myself. Ive been hearing some good things about it and would also love to see a test. Same with the quantum boards white light fixtures
Aglex 100 bux less and uses vero 29 which Shane's said out performs cxb3590
Glad you asked that question. I asked about a quantum board to be tested. Hopefully he might find the time to do it. Lenofocus LF100 Full Spectrum
What site can I buy the Meizhi light from?
I bought a 600 watt bloomspect full spectrum led and a 2x2x48 tent and its killing the grow game
The BloomSpect is a good light. Inexpensive but very good. I have 1 in my grow room.
