CK's Wainwright Challenge - Lonscale Fell, Skiddaw Little Man, Skiddaw & Bakestall from Gale Road.

Back to trail running - yes! 4 Wainwright's - 2 new ones ticked off, bringing my remaining Wainwright's to climb to 52!
Ventured up Lonscale Fell from Gale Road car park, then onto Little Man, Skiddaw and Bakestall, descending onto the Cumbria Way and back to the car.
Very cold and wintery conditions at the top of Skiddaw, but a fab day all round - even managed to capture the jets flying around :-)

Thanks Yvette. I'd done Skiddaw before so I knew it wasn't too bad to navigate in poor weather - it would probably have been a different story if it had been somewhere else. Glad you enjoyed the video :-)

Great video Claire, loved your route. We did something similar 2 years ago in reverse except for Bakestall. The climb up to Lonscale Fell is very steep to come down never mind go up especially as most of it is just grass. Well done on doing so much in difficult conditions. Regards, Ashley

I don't think I'd have liked to come down that way, far too slippy!
