    like you're so good at not putting pressure on one's self. the fact that you're like "i'm just playing with the bead" the shape the texture like that took so much pressure off of me for some reason lol thank you.

    Hey Suzie,
    I wanted to express my gratitude for the New Acrylic Starter Kit you provided us with. It's incredibly user-friendly and versatile. I experimented with some beads and practiced on fake fingers initially, and surprisingly quickly, I gained enough confidence to do my own nails. The product practically guides itself, requiring minimal direction. I found it remarkably intuitive, perhaps because I'd watched your instructional videos numerous times before purchasing. Even though it was my first foray into acrylics (and I've never attempted gel nails either), I found the process quite manageable.
    I'm truly thankful for the fantastic product you've brought to the market. Your videos have been instrumental in my learning journey; your passion for teaching shines through, making it a joy to watch you work. While my first set of acrylic nails isn't flawless, I'm genuinely pleased with the outcome. Now, I'm committed to honing my skills and perfecting my nail art with each practice session.
    Once again, thank you immensely.

    You have the most beautiful hands Suzie… and there is such thing as perfect because you do all nails perfectly. I grew up in hair/nail salons because my mom is a hair dresser and I always went to work with her because she couldn’t afford a babysitter.. I absolutely LOVED watching the nail techs work. She worked in salons with white and black nail techs and salons with Vietnamese nail techs so I’ve just abt seen it done in every which way but even as good as those ladies were they cannot even hold a candle to you. Your work is by far the most beautiful I’ve ever seen.. I’ve always wanted to do nails but when I came across your channel it kinda went to a whole new level for me.. I’m a single mom on a very tight budget and I don’t have much confidence in myself so I bought some cheap nail supplies to practice with to make sure I could actually do it but I’ve not had any luck yet.. idk if it’s because my supplies are such low quality or if I’m just really that bad but I’m trying so hard. I can’t afford to go to school to do it or even buy better supplies but I’m hoping I will figure it out eventually.. I’m trying so hard not to give up because I want it so bad but I get so discouraged.. if I’m ever able to afford higher quality supplies I’m definitely going to your website for them. All of yours seem so amazing. Even your files are bomb, I want to try them so bad! Lol Sorry I wrote a novel, I just think you and camera man are amazingly awesome folks!! My favorites for sure!❤❤

    I never comment on anybodies channels because I’m super shy but I really want you to know that you’ve been my calm through a storm for the past 6 or so months. I’ve binged all of your videos over and over again. My 2 year old son and I were in a domestic violence shelter for the past 8 months after a 3 month hospital stay, and have just finally gotten our own place! Our lives were flipped upside down, and we are starting completely over. In the shelter, I listened to you and watched you constantly. Your voice is so calming to me. All of your “it’s oks,” “mistakes are going to happen, you’ll be fines” “everyone made these mistakes at least once” really calmed me down when things got overwhelming to me. I used them not only for my nail journey, but also for my life journey, and man do they help me. They still do. I’m about a month away from finishing nail school at 35. I would have never even thought of doing nails if one of your videos hadn’t popped up randomly one day. Everything happens for a reason. So I just want to say thank you! Obviously you’re still the channel I go to when I need calmed down because here I am. 😂 Your voice is just so soothing, but most of all, you’re SO ENCOURAGING and positive. You just make me feel like everything really will be ok.
    I don’t have any of my Nanas left or Mom, so I think you’ve been my guidance and motherly figure, as weird as that may sound? Even your background and the shirts you wear are so soothing to me. My baby even knows your voice at this point. 😂 Whenever we are fully on our feet, I’m totally buying all of your kits. I wouldn’t want anybody else’s! You’ve changed my life in many ways and I am beyond thankful for you! 🖤🖤
    If you ever want to adopt a grown daughter, and a 2 year old grandson please pick us! 😂😂
    I just wanted you to know that your channel is not only amazing for learning, but you’re also helping people in other ways. Your channel means more than you probably know!
    Hopefully I will do well in this industry. I would love to do UA-cam videos one day too. I really enjoy makeup, so I’d like to do a beauty channel. So you’ve even encouraged me to do that!
    From the bottom of my heart, thank you! I’ll be your biggest and most loyal customer one day!

    Let me apologize in advance for the long story lol. I have always been the kind of person that picks up things very quickly, so in my 20s after only going to that nail salon a few times I picked up how to do them and started doing it myself (back then there was only glued tips with acrylic). Later in my 30s my career took off and being a single mother with 3 kids I had little to no time for nails.
    Fast forward to today, I am much older and I have gotten back into doing my nails. Geez Louise! Nails have come a long way since that time, lol and although I feel that many of your videos are designed for the current more advanced techniques, I find them very easy to follow, Thank you for that! 👍 You have everything from proper hand filing, to what files to use, wonderful techniques using uv gel, hybrid gel and or acrylic and I really appreciate your tutorials. Its of no surprise to me why you have so many followers. Thank you so much for all the hard work you put into your videos that help older folks like me. Keep up the good work! 🥂🎉🎊

    This video was helpful, especially for building consistent beads. My problem when I started a few years ago was I could make perfect beads...sometimes! And other days I just couldn't get the ratio down no matter how fundamental I felt it was.

    Hi suzie and the comment section. I'm just getting started and one thing I've noticed is that my monomer gets cloudy with the powder after maybe 3/4 nails, is this normal or am I doing something wrong? I'm also getting acrylic stuck in the brush even when I wipe away excess monomer on the paper towel. I find myself using a cuticle stick to scrape the mushy mess out of the brush but worried I'm damaging the bristles. Is there a video on brush care, when to clean, how to store, etc and cloudy monomer that I'm missing? Thank you so much, absolutely love Suzies videos 😊

    • @NailCareerEducation
      @NailCareerEducation  Рік тому +5

      Yes, extremely common issue. So the reason why you’re getting your monomer cloudy is because when you put your brush back into the monomer, your brush has a lot of powder still in it. I’ll be it it’s mixed with monomer, but it’s still got product in it so it releases into the monomer and causes the cloudiness of the product. That is very common when you’re learning, especially when you’re trying to learn to create those beads. And then eventually as you continue your getting too much product stuck in your brush because it’s never fully getting all out. So to avoid that is try obtaining a lot less monomer when you’re creating that bead.

    I have trouble with gel believe it or not lol I find acrylic if you have the proper brush and of course correct monomer to powder ratio acrylic nails are easier for me but iv always been that way I get the hard things but not the easy but I also have a thinner gel from morovan. Also is there a difference between acrylic dehydrator and primer and gels dehydrator and primer? I use mine for both systems but was just wondering ❓I forgot I also use your slow setting monomer and your acrylic I purchased the 100 dollar set and love it ❤❤❤❤

Hoping I pick up on it, my nail salons were charging me 80$ for short acrylic nails with no art or gems just pink acrylic AND 70$ for a full when I was told it's 40% the original nail cost so I'll do it myself!! I’m using a natural hair brush and keep getting acrylic stick in the bristles whilst working

    • @NailCareerEducation
      @NailCareerEducation  Рік тому

      That’s because while yr working, you have too much monomer in your brush and it’s never being fully released

    I have a question so once the bead is on the nail can you dip your brush back in the monomer and then go back to the bead to flatten it out on the nail if you happen to do a dry bead the first time?

    WAIT! So you can use acrylic brushes with monimor? I thought it would melt the fibers rendering the brush usless after one application! 😦 This is incredibly helpful!

    Thank you! ❤I see a lot of nail artists using very wet beads, especially during encapsulation. Is it appropriate to use a wet bead in that case, or should the acrylic still be not too wet, or obviously too dry?

      I don’t think, especially during encapsulation a Bead should be too wet

    Suzie, when forming, how do you accommodate for flat/irregularly shaped nail plates? Personally, when looking "down the barrel" two of my nails grow nice and arched, two very flat, and my middle finger grows kinda like half of a pentagon! Any recommendations?

    • @NailCareerEducation
      @NailCareerEducation  Рік тому +3

      Yup! Very common. A nail techs jobs is to create what you don’t have- simply form it ( no matter what shape you have ) and the product should compensate - don’t over think it

    When learning would you recommend a pinched brush or just round

    • @NailCareerEducation
      @NailCareerEducation  Рік тому

      It doesn’t really matter. I personally like a pinched because it’s sort of indicates to me one side or the other and sometimes you do want to use the barrel of that brush. But that’s my preference so I think it is better. But you can still do it with the unpinched

      Thanks for replying to my question Suzie. I wish I could have you sitting next to me and teaching me everything you know about Arylic and gel, also I am wondering do you prefer your brush to be synthetic or natural hair and is there a difference to the way it picks up the bead or application?? Or is it just the fact that it holds less monomer

    The most undertaught part of acrylic application is what is done with the brush between pats. It's always out of camera range and never the focus of the teacher.
