I did my nails with a kiss kit over a month ago following one of your tutorials and once you get the hang of it you won’t need to go to a salon. I’ve already given myself a fill in and my nails haven’t lifted, broken or chipped in over a month! Suzie always does a beautiful job and her voice is so relaxing.
Good for you. Acrylic is the hardest nail to create. So the fact that you got it shows perseverance and a lot of practice and good education. That’s awesome
Nail Career Education thank you so much! I was watching many of your videos before finally giving in and buying a simple kit to to start out. I tried following all your steps, and didn’t rush even though this acrylic does dry faster. Working with smaller beads at a time helped until I got comfortable picking up bigger beads. You’re a great teacher! Blessings!
I’m going to try
How could you remove them ?
@@fatmasharaf2953 there a nail remover stick!
Suzie and her soothing voice need to be a podcast (or reading audiobooks)
I use her channel as ASMR 😍
I agree! It makes me feels so cosy and safe ! 😂❤️
Omg I didn't realize how much I needed Suzie to read me a book until now....
Yaaas!! She has the most wonderful motherly voice I've ever heard. Makes me feel like I'm wrapped up in clouds
Or she could combine the two and do some sort of book group thing where maybe once a month or something she picks a book to read out loud and we can like read the book along with her
I really appreciate how Suzie is actually reading the instructions and following them
Except putting the primer on or am i missing something?
@@caseycaliente6963 you missed something. She applies primer at 16:30ish

What I love about Suzie's videos over others is that she always makes me (a DIY user) feel like I can accomplish anything I want. I really appreciate that. I particularly love the comments like "Don't worry about that" or "Mistakes are what help us learn". Thank you Suzie for your guidance and inspiration you provide! 💖
I love professionals who can admit when cheap beginner kits are OKAY at times. Most professionals will yell at you, GET IT DONE BY A PROFESSIONAL, i absolutely respect Suzie for testing these at home things and letting us know how or if we should use them
I LOVE cameraman trolling you with the music!!! I was dying!!!
He was certainly having alittle fun wasnt he?!👍🏼😂
I loved it ! Hehe

I LOVE HOW SHEE TOOK HER TIME TO EXPLAIN EVERYTHING LIKE OMG SUZIE ILYSM
That lil Kit is what caused my falling in love with nails just last year 💕
Same one with the apple smell & everthing😘 I keep the brush as souvenir for my beginning!
I did Forums 1st 🤷 Seemed easier to me & less work 😁 but a year later I still take to long using tips.
soft cream colors and laces always suit you beautifully, Suzie..you still look like a phenomenally talented bride in this video 🤗
Lol, the music the camera man used as she was attempting to open the nail tray was hilarious. Suzie, you have the most hydrated hands. I put lotions and oils and my hands still can’t look like I would like. Could you do a video on how you do and keep your hands so nice.
as soon as i heard that lil "thang" i said "unh unh camera man dont do it!"
Wow! I didnt know that👍🏼
Lairde Scotte thank you so much for the advice. Although I do live in the desert. But nevertheless, I’m going to try it.
Susie is everyone's mom teaching us how to do our nails. ❤️🙌
Love your tone of voice, you make a really good instructor for anything!!
I LITERALLY JUST bought this kit this morning on a whim! This is so exciting for me! Hahaha!
Same!! :D
Where can I find the kit?
Samantha Foster got my in Walmart !
@@samanthagray557 I got mine at Walgreens.
How long did the nails last before they started lifting?
I love how she explains everything so we can understand, and her voice is beautiful
I'm impressed, that's actually quite amazing for a diy at home kit! I'm not gentle with my nails at all, and that's about the same wear and tear that I get with my salon acrylics. Well done, Kiss!
Suzie struggling with packaging is something I can watch for hours...😂😂😂
I was trying to keep my composure for the video because I am an educator and trying to be professional. But my impatient self wanted to take a hammer to the damn thing LOL
I did the exact same thing!! Than I was like... OH!! it's a slide out!! Than I had to find a tutorial 🤣
@@NailCareerEducationmy inner aries approves of this message
Why her voice so soothing she sounds so pure :)
Susie I can not thank you enough, when I do my nails I will always fit them on the smaller size, and my nails would always end up hurting and they felt like they were being squished and now that you say to fit them on the bigger size it makes so much more sense, and because of you my nails aren’t hurting anymore thank you so much Susie!!!❤️❤️❤️
I tried one of these back in the 90s they turned out terrible BUT now in 2022 I’m tempted to try this updated version out!!
I appreciate ur honesty and giving credit where its due.
That look she makes at 1:51 and that music is goes along with it
Omg when I got that kit around 3 years ago I had the same problem with the tray 😅 and ended up breaking it and the tips flew all over the room!!
Ya i was quickly heading in that direction. Normally those things would very much frustrate me. But I was keeping my composure because I’m trying to be professional and educate 😂😂 much longer I might’ve taken a hammer to the stupid thing LOL but I’m glad I had patients to discover how to actually open it
Nail Career Education they need a warning label on top of the box🤔May cause frustration and fits of rage when opening.
@@pinky567 well on the box they actually did have how to open the box haha

Me too, tips everywhere, all mixed up😮😅
I'm so glad you did this video. I have this kit and was so nervous but excited at the same time to just get started. Thank u
Thank you for showing us the 3 weeks later👏💜‼️
I’m only 13 but I am looking into getting a kit to start, I have been watching videos for the past few days so I kinda know what to do, so your videos are really helpful 😀
Ohh I’m only 12 but Im looking into getting a kit too!
Good luck to you!
I’m only 12 and looking into this but I guess I’m technically 13 in a few hours- I want to try this on my friends nails bc I can’t do them on my own. I can’t do them on my nails bc I’m learning the guitar.
same!!
I'm 36 and have a kit but its still unopened. As I need to watch a few more vids to make the leap and give it a try.i also have a full kit from amazon..more like wish or tophatter quality to work with too. Did you young ladies try it then? Results? Tips?

Everything I learned about making my own manicure I learned from you in the past few years. Thank you for all the tips and ideas and teachings. My nails are looking so goooood in this eternal quarantine
I love how she explains everything and really educates me in what to do and not to do thank you Suzie
Mostly I’m just impressed that she did this with her non dominant hand
it’s actually smart to start with the non dominant hand

she pulled out that nail polish remover like it was the tiniest bottle ever! I was staring at the screen like 😮 for 5 minutes straight! like dang girl you got a lot of nail polish remover
Suzie I paused your video in the middle while I was watching because I had to message you.
Thank you for taking the time to mention the finer steps to prepping your nails before adheasing. It is so important. Thank you for putting in the time to display these tutorials. You are the bewt instructor by far.

What is amazing is that you are going to do it on your right hand. Which to me is the hardest hand, because I am right-handed. I am impressed and so happy to see you do this kiss Acrylic kit, I didn't think it was any good.
This kit has kept me sane this year!!! Watching you struggle with the random “drawer” was deja vu 🥴😂😂😂
You are by FAR my fave nail pro to watch, listen to & learn from simply because you are so sweet, gentle & charming to listen to, which is SO refreshing after the educator I had! 😊💖 💖💖

I love you Suzie! Your videos make my day! I learn a lot, your voice is so soothing... your cameraman is the best I love him too.. oh and I love when you throw the empty packages lol 😄💕
And I love your cat too!!! 💕💕💕
Awwwwwww😘
Your natural nails are BEAUTIFUL! :)
Overall, having tried a lot of kits, KISS brand is by far the ones that are highest quality and easiest to use for me who is totally NOT a nail tech. Being able to have nicely done nails on a reasonable budget is especially appealing.
I love your soothing voice it makes learning relaxing.
That was so funny trying to get to the tips because that was me having the same problem
I’m glad that I found you. Today is blessed day 🎉❤.
Hey Suzie! I have a question. You mentioned on a previous video that one of the reason why you don’t like store bought press-on nails is that glue allows bacteria and dirt to accumulate, which can cause the greenies. So my question is: do you have a risk of getting the greenies from tips as well? After all, they are glued on too. Is it better to use a form to prevent infection? Thank you!!
Also, I love you and you are my idol.
Oh man! You are adorable. That bit while you struggled with the tray of tips, I died. The music. Bless you, sweet Thang. You're hilarious.
I love your videos! I learn so much from them. I'm doing a nail technician course currently and your videos are so beneficial to my studies as well as for inspiration and extra practise. Thank you!
Omggggg thank you so much for this tutorial 🥰 I’m from Quebec Canada 🇨🇦 and I just bought the kit and I was like… well, let’s see if someone who has tried this kit and would be nice enough to demonstrate it!!! I had read the instructions, but as for the explanations in French... we'll come back! I have the impression that the company used google translate for the instructions!
I am visual! I need to see rather than read! You explain so well! And my god it looks easy for you!
Anyway, thank you very much for this tutorial! Oh how practical and you really directed me well! I am very grateful to you!
And by the way, I just subscribed to your channel!
Thanks again and have a nice day!
Found your channel a few days ago and you have inspired me to start doing nails again I will definitely be watching more of your vids for hacks and techniques I am just wating on my supplies getting delivered
YES i love how she did the 3 weeks later fill check up!!!!!! YES that is great that u did that!! and showed everyone all the tips and tricks wit the ink and the dental floss!! THANK U SOOOO MUCH!!!!! ur 1 amazing nail tech!!!
This is everything I needed THANK YOU. Every other video is them pulling drills out or using special files. I want to see if I can go without those tools and I see that I can
I’ve been having trouble sleeping for weeks, but your voice was so soothing I started falling asleep at my desk.
Also, the video was lovely!
Thank you for the removal of the polygel nail I learned a lot 😁

I bought that kit 2 weeks ago and have been too scared to try it. Glad I’m watching this video first
I love you videos. I love watching them at night because your voice is so soothing it lulls me to sleep. Not that your content is boring by any means. 😍😘
Watching her unboxed the nail tips was hilarious. I just bought this exact same kit and did my nails with this kit last night prior to seeing this video. I also had a difficult time getting those tips out LOL
Great video. Thank you for sharing this kit. You are a good teacher. Thank you again.
Please do a video about acrylics on clubbed thumbs, I could really use the help!
You are the goat! I have watched so many of your videos, and u describe how to do them so well.
These are so cute💕
So far you were the first one who explain perfectly
AH! You file with your left hand the same way I do!!! I feel so much better now. This video is giving me the confidence to try acrylic...maybe...😬😬😬...I'm really happy to see your natural nails look so good after 30 years of acrylic! I was always afraid of damaging my nails, but you've shown me it's possible to have my cake and eat it too! ❤
I’ve just given up with nails 😫😫 I had them done last weekend and ended up going back today to get them fixed!! (2 nails had snapped and there was uncured gel polish underneath the top coat 😳 and they cut my skin near my cuticles 😭) So thanks to vids like these for tutorials I have been trying to do my own but I’m not yet successful with getting them to stay on without lifting off (yes I used a primer and dehydrator plus I filed the nails and the tips ( with an e-file fo
r the nail tips and the natural nails with a hand file) ) I’ll learn eventually 😂😂:)
This is going to help me a lot when I do my nails soon! I realized that I have been doing a lot of things wrong that I can fix by watching this video!
Love Camera Man's choice of music in the beginning when your trying to open kit! LOL. :)
I saw this kit at Walmart and decided to do it and omg! They actually turned out so good!! It’s the first time I have ever done something like this and it was pretty easy but time consuming 😂
what nail color is that? soft white love it!
This helped me so much! I came to this video because today I put on my first acrylic nails by myself, but the kit I had, had no instructions. Thank you!
Love this product and you girl
Im learning a lot in your videos suzie i love you so much. Stay safe to you and your family
girl i literally had to watch this video to see how to open the bottom tray
I love how she explains everything! I've thought about doing my own nails at home and I am a beginner but she makes me feel like after some practice I could actually do it.
OMG!!! I have the exact same tip cutter as Suzie does!!!!

Your a good teacher. I got tired of spending almost $100 dollars on getting my nails done every two weeks, so I did these and I looveee them 🤩😍 thank you
Me: watching this while I painfully remove the nail I absolutely screwed up
Omg thank you for showing the impossible way to open it!! I couldn't figure it out till you showed how to
I have a question re: e-file + soak-off for proper removal of gel nails.
For the years I went to the salon, my nails ALWAYS looked like they'd been through a blender, and, in fact I'm currently in month 4 of growing out damaged nails after removing my enhancements in March. I presume the damage occurred because the nail tech was using the wrong bit, or using a bad hand piece with wobble, or, using too much pressure, or maybe even she was using the e-file on my natural nail. All those years, I never paid attention or asked questions and just resigned myself to damaged nails, because I was too ignorant, frankly.
Well, I've been learning to do gel overlays and although the free edge of my nails are still really thin, the rest of my nail plate looks wonderful and healthy. I've been hand filing and soaking off, and so far, so good.
I want to try polygel and dualforms, but I think I will HAVE to learn how to use an e-file or drive myself insane with all the hand filing.
So, my question is, done correctly, can I TRULY use an e-file combined with soaking off to remove the overlay or the enhancements on a continual basis without damage?! Or am I doomed to fight damaged nail plates if I go this route?
And also, how OFTEN can I remove and reapply? I waited 2 weeks when I was going to the salon to save money, but at home I would like to change my polish more often than that.
I'm sorry for this long-ass question. I'm hoping somebody with experience will take pity on me and help a sister out because I truly dont know who else to ask!
You and I are in the same boat - I’ve been doing mine and my mom’s nails since this whole quarantine mess started lol. Whether you are using an e-file or a hand file, get the polygel as thin as you can without hitting the nail bed and then soak. Polygel really is a lot softer to file than acrylic or hard gel (what I’m assuming you use for your overlays), so the 100 grit side of a 100/180 file should really be enough to do the trick without *too* much elbow grease until you can get a drill. Use warm acetone to help the product break down faster - i do a kind of double boiler method by filling a sandwich baggie with acetone and then putting it (and my hand!) in a bowl with warm/hot-ish water. Keep a thermos with warm water nearby, as well as a dump bowl so you don’t have to keep getting up to change your water as it cools off. You can push the remaining, gummy gel bits off with a cuticle pusher that you don’t care about, or file it off with the softer 180 side so you don’t hurt your nail as you get closer to it. Also, seeing as how your nails are still so fragile and you have to prep (aka file and lightly scratch up) them everytime you do a new application, I don’t think I would do this more than every 10-14 days (unless you were just doing a color change, of course - your nails would be protected by the polygel. Just be mindful of not compromising the nail structure when you’re filing away your color). Just keep letting them grow out, and when the damage is all grown out, you can revaluate your frequency. Personally, I’m learning how to use a drill myself, and I find myself trying to be so careful as not to hurt myself that I end up actually taking more time than if I were to hand file. To each his own though! I hope this helps!
I could just listen to her voice talking about nails all day. Just for background noise. Hahaha! Suzie is always SO educational and down-to-earth! I just bought myself this kit and wanted to give it a try, but not before watching a good tutorial.
Could you make a video of testing out products to remove cuticles? Like best to worst.
