I've also just put a thin layer of honey on my face. It's naturally antibacterial (which is great for me, I get a lot of acne), and it leaves your skin feeling super soft. You can essentially treat it like a face mask - leave it on for 5-20 minutes (more if the stickiness doesn't bother you) and it washes right off, no need for soap as it dissolves in water

You always make such thoughtful videos. Like you actually care about the people watching and that they get some benefit from having watched. I appreciate you.
Uhhhh a Halloweeny version of this, with black and orange mica and pumpkin imbeds...Or black and purple with little witch hats? That would be a DREAM. Although I also super adore your galaxy one, the addition of the pretty stone was genius!!
A collab with Safiya would be a dream! As well as one with Cristine/Simply Naillogical. I always find it funny when I see which UA-camrs are friends with each other. 😊
Also totally agree that Galaxy never goes out of fashion it just shapeshifts into cloud prints and ethereal colour palettes. Celestial vibes is all the above from a fashion pov, fashion is just wearable pop culture
As a person who just recently bought all the galaxy car accessories... seat covers, plate frame, steering wheel cover, floor mats. The whole 9 yards. Galaxy is not a dead trend. I'm still obsessed. 😊
I started my small business recently making melt and pour soaps also coconut and soy wax candles. These are products i use and they have been great and cost effective as someone jut starting out. Thank you for making this video to show others how easy and fun it can be!! ❤
My children make melt and pour soaps for their student craft fair and normally they make individually molded soaps (planes, flowers, Legos, etc.) but this year I'm going to encourage them to make bars, these are such great ideas and designs. You really are a catalyst for people delving into diy projects.
I love making melt and pour with kids especially. It’s how I started out making soaps. I made my own melt and pour as well. But admittedly, I need to play with the recipe more.
I love that not only is this a fun watch just for enjoyment but that you go the extra mile to also explain things like how to package these n advantages n disadvantages of soap types etc for those who want to start making n selling them. that's so awesome! Thank you for your wonderful videos. 💖
I love seeing the melt and pour videos. Much as I ADORE your cold process, the melt and pour reminds me so much of the little kits my mom got my brother and I as kids and how long we had our little soaps to use. [We were young enough most of the shapes were hard to hold lol so they lasted a bit until we could hold them]. I have a question tho: Does the crinkle/wavy cut serve a function or is it purely aesthetic?
The firet soap you made with the orange and white kind of reminds me of a creamcicle. I love the color combo. I love love love love the galaxy soap. It is beautiful.
I found a quick recipe for clear soap that I use as melt and pour. If I have to re-melt too many times, adding a little high-proof alcohol brings the clarity back. 140 grams coconut oil, 60 grams stearic acid, 100 grams glycerine, heat together to melt thoroughly. Mix 34 grams of lye into 68 grams distilled water, mix to dissolve, pour into oils and stick blend to mashed potato consistency, then add 400 grams high-proof alcohol (Everclear, Clear Springs), blend in, cover and heat gently until it all melts together.
Such a fun video idea. The designs turned out great! A little sidenote on the temperature conversion. 100 F is closer to 38 C than it is to 37 C. I know it's not even a degree difference, but it's the difference between being close to a fever and having a healthy body temperature. 37 C is 98.6 F, 37.8 C is 100 F, and 38C is 100.4 F In science small changes can make a huge difference. Probably not a problem with the melt-and-pour, but it can be with other reactions, or even just tempering chocolate.
There was all kinds of soap drama last year when this soap mold became popular and the lady from aspen essence was accusing everyone of copying her 😳 Then her customers went wild and started leaving mean comments on other creators videos!! It was so bizarre. It's soap! It should be fun and there's room in the soap world for all of us ❤ thank you for your amazing videos
I LOVE your soap and have been using it for years. I just moved and apparently your normal soaps mess with the plumbing here so I have been using your diamond soaps. Do you plan on doing more variety? I would love to see something themed like your normal soaps.
Love this little soaps, so relaxing to make, but i have the feeling the soap is not hard... so my question is: would the soap get harder overtime, like maybe a week later?
Is it possible to make a natural pumpkin pie puree soap with pumpkin pie spice & no fragrance oils? Im allergic to a lot of fragrance oils because of benzines so i can only use essential oils etc. would you think about showing me how? Maybe with heart moulds..❤
How do you figure out what size or how much they should weigh to make them? Are there standard sizes? How do you know which cutter is right how do you choose the size to buy 😅
Also, I don't know the first thing about making soap so this may not work for you but dusting the molds with a very micro-fine layer of cornstarch will help things to not stick. Again, not sure if this can help you but thought I'd throw that in here.
Speaking of additives in melt and pour soaps, I have this friend who really loves this absolutely disgusting drink called Gambina (it's a gin and vermouth mix) and somehow me and my mom started joking about making a Gambina soap for my friend. As I understood it, in cold process soap the scent of the drink would disappear? So now I'm wondering if it's possible to add some of that drink into melt and pour? It wouldn't have to be much, just to get the scent (and then add some dark red dye to get the colour right). Or do I have to figure out how to get the scent into cold process? :D

The OCD in myself is screaming, “IT’S NOT STRAIGHT AND EXACT!” But….they ended up actually looking so cool. 😂 Thanks for helping SO MANY people with y’all’s business! Love y’all. Hugz, Tree
I LOVE how you don’t gatekeep. You share this info for anyone to succeed. A real queen!
No gatekeeping here, bestie. Sharing is caring 😂💗
Katie please please please keep making soaps with actual honey in them. They help my skin SO much.
I love the local honey soap too! I need to make another batch!!

I would love to see any of these designs as a cold process. Essentially, the galaxy one. The colors are so pretty.

Same. It's been a rough week, this helped.
Welcome, frien.
My five year old believes we are friends because we also live in Texas. Glad for your wonderful content!
This is so cute 😂🥰💖
@@battlecat6766 thanks! She says text Katie a picture of the soaps we made. I had to explain that I don't have her number 🤣

7:30, that's how the shortening is packaged for the bakery I work at; it's very inconvenient to work with, but it's also kind of fun to cut.

Katie, you are a generous gem of a giver! You love people, it's clear. You're an MVP!
I had not been able to find you in a while. It is so fun to be on a Royalty Soaps watch binge. You are such a beautiful person.
Mad Mica's Spacewalk has been on my wish list for some time, such a beautiful color! Katie, these all turned out great. Thanks for posting

If you work in grams instead of ounces it is easier to calculate cm and grams volume/weight.
I want one! I love them all ❤.
Do you have any videos of websites to buy soap essentials already made or can you make one?
I think this would make a really sweet cottage core soap
