I'll never step foot in a casino because I don't gamble and I truly believe them to be leeches, so seeing how they treat their customers is so interesting to me. Love the guys that offered you the hotel room and the meal, how awesome is that?!
It's a good choice not to gamble, but if you see the casinos as your enemy, learning to count cards can be your way to get revenge Although you need serious training before you ever start, don't let videos like these fool you into thinking it's easy - it's not However, it's very rewarding once you do gain the required skills to know that you're making a living by taking some of the money the casino has stolen from the community
@@dustinjames1268 Card counting is one of those things that is very easy to learn but very difficult to put into practice. Anyone with a few days to kill can memorize the basics, but being able to pull it off in a casino environment while playing perfectly and acting natural takes a lot longer

I only stay and play at MGM Resorts & Casinos. I just reached Platinum Tier Status this December. I have been playing Black Jack since I was 19 years old, it was at the Stardust in Las Vegas. I had a fake Nebraska DL which had no photo imprinted on the ID, the Stardust had no problems with me playing, and I lost $400 in less than an hour. I enjoy watching you and your teams crush the Casinos, it makes me happy. I have no interest in being a "Card Counter", I play "Beat The Dealer" because it's fun, card counting is too much like work. I don't always adhere to Basic Strategy, sometimes I split 10's against the Dealers Bust Card, double-down on soft 12s against the Dealers Bust Card, and I try to let the Dealer BUST more than I do, and when I do win......it's...not luck, it's because the "Math was with me", may the Math always be with you. Do you have any plans to play at the Bellagio or Beau Rivage?
Tunica! I got backed off at Goldstrike. But kept the comps and ate at their quite good steakhouse after. Got backed off because another counter was at my table and I didn’t notice. Rookie. I kept playing all the other casinos. And I still can play at all MGM properties though it’s been 15+ years.
Big props for being able to keep your head on straight after being down $12k. One thing I’ve learned working in finance is that the biggest wins can come after the biggest losses. As long as your EV is positive you just have to stick with your strategy and keep pushing forward

I have found there a several things you can do to throw off the casino looking for card counters. First go in and get a room, sign up for the players club and order drinks at the table. I carry a pocket guide to basic blackjack and set it on the table and look at it at every hand. All these things throw off the dealers and pit bosses because real card counter do not do it. I am luckly and never been made so I'm not in any books. I start on the smaller bet tables and slowly work my way up when I see the deck is going my way. I go for $25 to $50 to $100 and they don't think to catch on. I stop after an hour or two and ask for a free comp to the buffy and tell them I'll be back after eating something. I never get that far ahead but by going slowly you can get several thousand up in one night. I even get offers to come back in the mail.

3:30 I completely agree with this statement. What your videos show are the highlights of hours upon hours of work. I'm sure card counting is tedious, boring and everything else negative all at the same time and that I would never want to card count as my job, but learning to card count and doing it casually might be fun.
Brother, I LOVE your videos, but when you get such an EASYYYY out to be able to cash out like “I just need a name” after not being required to to present ID, why would you tell them you can give a fake name instead of just giving one? That makes you come across as very antagonistic!
Oh, NICELY said. 👍 And remember to divide all the winnings by the number of members on the team. 5 member team? Congrats - your *very rare* $100k win just GROSSed you $20k, but the team leader’s gonna want a bigger cut for herding the cats, so you’ll end up with less than that. I can make more money selling crap online with zero travel costs. Basically same logistical/money mgmt stresses; that’s just part of being in business. I’m enjoying these videos, but I like big pictures. Makes you think about the $250/night hotel rooms and the price of gas for all those team members, huh? Wait til the IRS pulls out their big roll of red tape. It doesn’t matter that you’re compliant; you still get to go through the same audit process, but with no penalty at the end. The team leader will *definitely* want compensation for that. 😳😆 TL/dr: Card counting on a big scale is one of the LEAST efficient ways to generate high *personal* revenues. (Edit: unless, of course, one enjoys herding cats; but that’s a whole different ball of integrity/management challenges and has nothing to do with counting cards.)

It’s probably hard being you. 2)I sensed a distinct drop in the sheer joy and wonder since the beginning of your counting journey. All new jobs put a little spring in your step-and then the tedium and bs aspects of it set in. How can you renew yourself so that you don’t burn out? Your escalating exasperation with the hypocrisy of the casinos, the laws and the hassle of doing what you do can’t be good for your health. 3)You are are an excellent presenter with great charisma. 4)Have you considered switching jobs again? To poker, perhaps, where your skills and intelligence do NOT need to be hidden but celebrated. It’s also lucrative and I’m certain you could get investors based on your bj videos and track record. Thank you for the videos. Really. It was a great way to spend a period of insomnia and occupied my noisy night brain.

You don't have to tolerate rude a-holes who are rude to you. You have been a professional with every interaction I have seen. The casinos that break the laws and are total thugs and deserve any attitude you give them. Like you have seen, the gaming commissions are on their side and not you the players. You are amazing as always! Love this!!
Dude at MGM was a class act and should be praised for his tact.
100%
Been watching these for a while now. Played at the west Memphis casino one time with my girlfriend and her friends and it was $10 tables and 6 to 5. Showed up again 2 weeks later and was going to play double deck and actually count and as soon as I sat down I got backed off. Really odd so then drove to tunica and had my biggest win! Love the vids!
Lol the guy who gave you a free meal after backing you off. Based.
another fantastic video. easily my favorite series on youtube to date. thank you!
I'm so glad I have a Nebula subscription alreadyyy, best platform on the internet.
Why is it good? It doesn't even have comments
I love everything about these series, it's literally something I look forward to each week.
I have the strangest problem. I bought nebula so I could watch the episodes early so I saw this one last week… but I don’t want the algorithm to think I scrolled past a steven bridges video!! So I’ve decided to let it play on my phone whilst I do something else (because as much as I love this series, having JUST watched the final episode it would be a bit weird to now rewatch the one before!)
hahahha you're a legend! Thanks for that :D
Hope you liked the finale!
This is seriously one of the best series on youtube. Its so cool to get an insight into this career/lifestyle
This is a relatively uneventful episode of Beat The Odds: no horrific aggressive back-offs, no gigantic losses: and yet I'm still gripped start to finish.
I'll never step foot in a casino because I don't gamble and I truly believe them to be leeches, so seeing how they treat their customers is so interesting to me.
Love the guys that offered you the hotel room and the meal, how awesome is that?!
It's a good choice not to gamble, but if you see the casinos as your enemy, learning to count cards can be your way to get revenge
Although you need serious training before you ever start, don't let videos like these fool you into thinking it's easy - it's not
However, it's very rewarding once you do gain the required skills to know that you're making a living by taking some of the money the casino has stolen from the community
@@dustinjames1268 Card counting is one of those things that is very easy to learn but very difficult to put into practice. Anyone with a few days to kill can memorize the basics, but being able to pull it off in a casino environment while playing perfectly and acting natural takes a lot longer
@@tmtmtlsml
That's what I said
the funniest part of the "i have no idea what sport the missouri tigers play" statement is the fact that they play basically every sport since its a college lmao
Did I just get a cheeky look ahead of the intended youtube schedule? 😁
Yes, good life hack 😂
Hell yea Steven, rip open them pockets!! Glad they were respectful for the most part, hope this next video goes crazy
I have never played a card game much more complicated than UNO or top trumps. I've always wanted to learn how to play the more serious card games, but realistically it's not gonna happen any time soon. Regardless, i'm completely hooked on this series and i'm loving living vicariously through you and these videos. Keep up the good work
You can learn to play blackjack (maybe not card counter level but well enough to enjoy) in about an hour.
Blackjacks fairly easy to learn less rules than Uno haha
Your accent helps you avoid conflicts. Americans find uk accents pleasing and trustworthy. The latter is weird I know but it’s true.
Signed up for Nebula because I just couldn't wait. Amazing series man, can't wait to see more from you.
Thanks so much! Check out some of the extra vids on Nebula 😃
Its brilliant really.
He takes the heat while the "team" works the town.
Love this series! Can’t stop watching these!
That 20k handoff is some James Bond shit. Cool experience :)
I believe they sell those glasses and hat in the "Card Counters Disguise Starter's Pack".
My whole week revolves around these episodes coming out haha thank you Steven these are so addictive to watch!
One of my favorite series on UA-cam 👏🏻🙌
Thanks Charli! 😃
I really look forward to your videos steven!! Please keep them coming.
Thank you!
If you could help me out: I'm playing in Europe and my bankroll is 1,000$ with a table min of 1$, the game rules are normal(H17, no surrender) double deck. What should my bet spread look like? What should I bet according to the true count? Back offs aren't a problem so I don't mind an aggressive spread. I would by the BJA pro-betting software but it's expensive and my bankroll is pretty small. Thanks 🙏.
@10:21 calls you out by name at the table, LMAO. I was cracking up
holy shit that clip of the pit boss trying to change the max on the game sign is fucking gold lmao
😂 It was hilarious at the time.
cool that the one place gave you the Chinese dinner as a comp after they backed you off. Have really enjoyed the latest trip series!
Such a great series Steven! I really hope to see you continue this with poker, and think you would kill it at the table, cheers!
I'd love to try poker!
3:40 Compared to previous series you made, you're way more assertive. Your rhetoric and argumentation skills improved greatly.
It's incredible how card counters are treated like criminals. Absolute insanity.
Such great content Steven! I really hope there is a "season 3" in the works lol. Happy Holidays!!
+1 subscriber for snagging the free chinese
This is the best series on youtube. Ever
Weird how it shows the unlisted video in playlists
Dude i never had an interest in counting cards but i do play Poker occasionally and its nice to see someone use skill to beat the house. These videos are addictive mate, you honestly got big balls and theyre glorious.
Would you mind changing the title to "Casino Catches Card Counter Carrying Concealed Camera"? I really like the alliteration
I was SO tempted originally to do just that
I watched it last week on Nebula but had to tune in again to rewatch it on release (or close to). Gona pop over and watch the season finale now and I'll be back here to rewatch it on its yt release! Sad season finale is already here but holey has this trip been amazing to watch!
i feel like im not supposed to be seeing this video right now...
sorry steven, might have to just go buy nebula anyways now
@@log3573100% my favorite platform for watching cool stuff. Highly recommend
My favorite series on UA-cam at the moment
I got kicked out of an indian casino in CA for a having a great winning streak. I don't even count cards and I wasn't even up by that much (about $1500 over 4 hours). I just happened to be raised by a family of card players who taught me great playing strategy
Lol.
always fun seeing someone you enjoy watching visiting your town. as a st charles local, that big ass ameristar building right off 70 is something youd recognize anywhere.
Haha unlisted video but here at 76 views. Am a dealer but cool to see the journey.
3:30 I completely agree with this statement. What your videos show are the highlights of hours upon hours of work. I'm sure card counting is tedious, boring and everything else negative all at the same time and that I would never want to card count as my job, but learning to card count and doing it casually might be fun.
Cruise ship casinos next??
“This is the life I chose”
The acceptance and self reflecting look in your eyes was hilarious
Brother, I LOVE your videos, but when you get such an EASYYYY out to be able to cash out like “I just need a name” after not being required to to present ID, why would you tell them you can give a fake name instead of just giving one? That makes you come across as very antagonistic!
After watching approx 5 of ur vids u make me realise being a card counter is more of a FU to casinos rather than creating an income
Oh, NICELY said. 👍
And remember to divide all the winnings by the number of members on the team.
TL/dr: Card counting on a big scale is one of the LEAST efficient ways to generate high *personal* revenues. (Edit: unless, of course, one enjoys herding cats; but that’s a whole different ball of integrity/management challenges and has nothing to do with counting cards.)
expecting anonymity with this channel is also kinda hilarious. Good videos.
“Overrid my natural British instincts and accepted the free meal”
Such a great line !!

“Go Sports!” That made crack up lol. Love your videos buddy! And good luck and be safe my friend!
Nobody to blame, but yourself dude. You are the one with the UA-cam channel
I can never get enough of this series
Just found your channel a few hours ago, was waiting for this 🤣
Fake names are always good to avoid the inconvenience you had at the first spot
Always fun watching your videos. Gotta meet up next time you’re in the US
Making the guy say your name is big Heisenberg vibes, I love it
😂
Best UA-cam series in so long
LOOOVEDDDDD THIS SERIES SO FAR, most excited for these video's to Come out every time!!
Best series on UA-cam right now. 👍🏼
I’m living vicariously through you.
I love the formatting of your videos
You mentioned going to New Orleans, but I don't recall seeing a video with New Orleans in it - did I miss it?
You wanting to sleep in your car in West Memphis is wild
Wow, I just found your channel a few weeks ago and I have to say I'm completely hooked.
I'm getting a secondhand good feeling from your run at the end, well done mate. So happy to see some pit bosses being nice, too.
Oh man I am loving this series. It really shows what you have to go through. You show us the up’s and down’s. I can’t get enough of this!!
Couldn’t sleep last night and binged every single of your videos on Nebula. Here’s what strikes me:
1)Your focus, drive and tenacity are damned impressive.
Poker is nothing like blackjack.
@@jeffmorin5867 I agree. . . But Steven’s intelligence and tenacity might make him an excellent student of the game. And skill is celebrated in poker!
