Some feedback: The graphics showing the cards on screen was genius. It really adds a layer of captivation to the content. I also liked how well edited and fun to watch the travel montage was. All in all it looks like the quality of the videos is going up.

Yeah Jack Howard is the editor. He is fantastic and I'm lucky to work with him. It's actually incredibly rare he presents me with an idea that I don't love. I think we share a similar sense of humour which helps too.

Working in a casino 40 years ago I dealt to a few card counters, we were told to deal shorter shoes but I admired one more than most and he had no spotters, just a genius. I got tips from him and can now go on holiday, not go too big to stand out but cover the cost of the trip and a bit extra to take home.
That's great. Making connections and profiting. Hopefully you gave some info to him too.
After a lot of practice I could also spin a spread of 9 numbers on roulette 4 out of 5 times. Speed of wheel, release time. Helped my mates a bit but I promise I didn't buy a nice car.

The Bahamas government actually claims card counting is illegal so that backoff was quite the stressful situation.
The Gaming Control Act gives the Minister the power to declare any scheme to be cheating, but there doesn't seem to be any way of finding out what schemes have been declared cheating except by searching through issues of the Official Gazette, which is only available in print form... That seems problematic...
New series = I know what I'm watching on my lunch break over the next two weeks. Excited to see how it progresses.

Fantastic episode. It's like a Mission Impossible movie every time you do one of these, but especially with this one. Upping your costume game and training for a fake accent, high risk, and still making it out with a sizeable profit.

Very few channels do I have notifications on for all videos but this is one of them. I have three kids so it takes me some time to get to watch some things but I am always excited when new videos get posted and cant wait to watch. Fantastic content.

Actually the real crooks are the casinos that offer no playable blackjack games, such as continuously shuffled games and 6-5 blackjack with horrible deck penetration.

Just so you’re aware, security/casino personnel like to test their staff and occasionally will plant and bankroll counters to see if everyone is either doing their job and to weed out corruption. Initial bankrolled investment must be returned but any winnings can be kept. Inversely, losses are also just the cost of doing business

That being said I fully expected your team to research the specific gambling laws before actually going there. Even if it doesn't do much harm I still wouldn't really like to give them my ID
So the info that we had basically was that there wasn't much legal recourse. So we'd planned to do whatever we needed to get the chips cashed.
We also had info from other counters who had been backed off and could cash out successfully. So we weren't toooooo worried.
I guess thats the downside of teams - if you get caught, the casino is so much more butthurt than if it was just a solo player@@stevenbridges

It never ceases to amaze me how good security is at sniffing them out. I know watching this we often see them as the bad guys (and sometimes they really are) but when they catch them I'm always like HOW?!?! Steven and his team are professionals and are extremely good at discreetly counting cards and making signals yet they rarely walk out of a casino without a back-off. Gotta hand it to security!
not really. casino surveillance overall is actually pretty incompetent. they just err on the side of being overly paranoid and end up kicking out tons of people who are losing gambler's long term. basically cutting their nose to spite their face. they even had this guys ID out of the gate who was betting big so it made it way easier.
In this day and age, with HD cameras and trained counters in surveillance it doesn't take that long to identify a counter. Only slightly longer to identify a team.
Plus they have the luxury of rewatching a recording to confirm you're counting.
All modern casinos know the count on all tables at all times, since the cards are tagged. After that, it is just statistical matching of player pattern, there does not even need to be a counter in the pit, as the software does it for them and flashes the players. They do it for all games, not just BJ, so they can detect collusions and such.
I don’t like that Steven generally treats security in a very condescending and entitled way. They’re just normal people doing their jobs.
So, the casinos in the Bahamas do not use continuous shuffling machines 😂 plan next trip after dealing with these BS machines in manila. PH only use csm

About time you are back. You and blackjack apprenticeship man Colin had me going to the casino for the first time on the blackjack tables. Bought in for 500 went down all the way to 60 bucks and got back up to 650 and left at 405. I gotta actually keep count and figure out a bet spread. I got lucky
